Marasaja Pit

The Marasaja Pit is a series of cells in the deepest part of the Ul'dah prison system to which only the most heinous criminals are sent. The area is often filled with monsters and Voidsent, most commonly Imps and the like. It is not known how to enter or exit the Pit. This is where Ququruka was imprisoned for over a hundred years before he was released. The fact that he not only survived but for an incredibly extended period of time is unfathomable.
