Magitek Academy

The Magitek Academy is where the Garlean Empire both researches Magitek and trains young and upcoming Magitek engineers. Established after Solus Galvus became the dictator of Garlemald, the Academy was opened to increase the research and production of Magitek armor and to educate young minds how to build and repair it.

The Academy admits only a handful of outstanding applicants from all corners of the Empire. Even then, only a few of these will successfully complete their six year course of study. The strong-willed and brilliant graduates are given a choice: to continue on as researchers, or to join the army as Magitek technicians. Cid nan Garlond and Nero tol Scaeva are counted amongst the institution's alumni.
