The lykaon concept was studied for less than a hundred days before the researchers of Elpis judged it unsuitable for preservation, yet it nevertheless appears to have survived in some capacity. It is unclear whether the concept's revival was by accident or by design, but the lykaon is speculated to have evolved over millennia into the mythical managarms of Abalathia's Spine that we know today. The hounds feature prominently in regional folklore, where they are said to soar through the skies in their pursuit of moonlight.
