“This beast was created by Kleon, a man with a penchant for designing round and robust life-forms. He wished to see his creation reign as an apex predator, but ran into various setbacks, such as the coarse hair meant to act as a defensive layer impeding the io's vision. Kleon was eventually able to hammer out these faults with the advice of a certain knowledgeable familiar, and this seminal moment is said to have seen the birth of the fearsome behemoth species.
