“Our researchers have theorized that the currents of aether flowing within the Soda-lime Float promote impesctor development. In other words, impesctors found further downstream should be further along the road to becoming true life-forms. Though we cannot determine whether or not these beings are possessed of souls, we can measure the density of their aether. Sufficient samples from several locations along the river will be required to continue pursuing this line of inquiry.
