Dark Matter replaced item-specific repair materials with Patch 1.18 of Legacy. Prior to this, a particular crafting material was needed depending on what kind of material the gear was predominantly made from, for example:   Bone Hora required a   Bone Chip to be repaired. The repair process also had a percentage chance of failure at the time.
