Its body is composed entirely of a metallic liquid similar to quicksilver, but capable of maintaining complex forms—forms it can change at will to adapt to the ebb and flow of battle. Deep within the amorphic admixture is contained a servomechanism—the hydrate core—which is thought to connect the forgekin with its host, allowing Alexander to relay it direct orders.
