It is definitely good to hear struggles that people have with the current flow. However, there are some issues with the quest nav as you have created it: - there isn't a need to specify the current or next quest for a particular quest, as that is set as semantic data on each quest page. That means that it can be dynamically extracted from a database if necessary. - a layout change would need to be applied to every quest page (>5000 quests) for consistency, which would need to be done by a user with a bot account. Those need to be approved by an admin.
In general, layout changes should be discussed with the editing team. We're all volunteers, but we have a very collaborative team and tend to work together on major changes.
