Hey there Silneth, happy to have helped. And don't worry one bit about it, I didn't mean anything personally regarding the new user comment, just the reality from Freedom's perspective as there are many many many many accounts which are made fresh, do a couple edits, and then are never heard from again so for a user that has been around as much as one like Freedom has, it's understandable for him to look at those odds. I did not mean to say that you would be or are one of these users, just that from his perspective there was a significant likelihood you could be. I definitely would encourage you to keep up wiki editing if you have a desire to do so, and at the bottom of the home page you can find a link to the wiki's Discord if you'd like to chat or ask questions about the process as you go along.

Hey there Silneth, regarding what happened with the image on Briardien's page and Freedom4556's re-upload of it, I looked into it and found a couple things that can help explain what went on since you had mentioned you weren't too versed on wiki editing.

The image that you uploaded a replacement to was "File:Scholasticate promo7.jpg" which is very specifically supposed to be an official promotional screencap from Square Enix, which was the darker one you saw originally. Since you overrided that promotional screenshot with an in-game capture, Freedom reverted that file back to the promotional image it was supposed to be, then re-uploaded the image you provided as a new file on the wiki which is now "File:Briardien.jpg". Think of the images on the wiki pages as not being profile photos, but links to an image file which may be used on multiple pages.

For example, if a gallery article was posted that was displaying all official promotional screens and that one of Briardien was included, you're overrided upload of that "File:Scholasticate promo7.jpg" would also appear there and suddenly a non-official image would be included. So the answer to this is to upload the image as its own file so that it can be used separately by the character page, which is what Freedom4556 did after returning the promotional image to its former self.

Ideally yes, the optimal option would be to inform you on how to do this so you could reupload the image yourself and have the credit of providing the screenshot for the character page, but from a practical standpoint one can understand his calculated approach in just doing it himself rather than waiting for a new user with no profile info who may not be returning anytime soon to reply and amend the situation when he has so many other articles he is already looking to move onto.

I hope this has helped to clarify the matter a bit.
