Notes on the Crescent Berserker
Guide
- Boil Over: Magical party-wide damage. Also spawns a persistent AoE at the edge of the arena that will instantly kill anyone who touches it.
- Scathing Sweep: The boss faces a random player and uses a late telegraphed 180 degree cleave. Get behind (can use its hitbox arrows to guide).
- Channeled Rage: The crescent berserker's eyes burn with anger... Magical party-wide damage and gives self a stack of
Fury. - Hopping Mad: The crescent berserker flies into a fit of rage! A red circle AoE telegraph will appear near the edge of the the arena. The boss will then jump to its epicenter, resolving the AoE, which is immediately followed by an untelegraphed donut AoE covering the rest of the arena. Move into the telegraph after it disappears.
- Channeled Rage: The crescent berserker's fury can no longer be contained! Magical party-wide damage, gives self 3 stacks of Fury, and a 40 second
Damage Up. - Hopping Mad: Three red circle AoEs of different sizes will appear at the edge of the arena. The boss will jump to each one in order of decreasing size, with each jump followed by an untelegraphed donut AoE hitting outside of the circle telegraph.
- White-hot Rage: An orange circle Aoe telegraph will appear in the middle of the arena, denoting where the boss will jump to. Afterwards, the boss will cast Scathing Sweep, while four expanding circle AoEs appear in the cardinals or intercardinals. Afterwards, five more expanding AoEs will appear in the remaining regions of the arena that were not covered by the first set. This sequence repeats.
- Heightened Rage will then be combined with White-hot Rage. The order of events is first expanding AoEs (four in a box pattern) > first Hopping Mad jump > second expanding AoEs (only three in a line) > second Hopping Mad jump > third expanding AoEs (three in a triangle) > third Hopping Mad jump > fourth expanding AoEs (three in a line) > Scathing Sweep > fifth expanding AoEs (three in a triangle).
