This template generates an image to represent "yes" in tables or checklists and also gives the option to choose which icon you wish to use to signify this information.

Template parameters[Edit template data]

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Type	1	Used to change the icon variant. Default is a blue 'checkmark'. NOTE: Avoid yellow as it has less contrast on light backgrounds. Suggested values purple orange yellow green Example green	String	optional
Alt text	tooltip	Text to show on hover. Defaults to "Yes". Example Available	String	optional
Link	link	Define a link for the image if desired.	Page name	optional
sortkey	sortkey	Hidden text that allows sorting. Defaults to '0'.	Unknown	optional

  • Note: Yellow has worse contrast than all the other colors on light backgrounds, and should be avoided

Important: Do not rely on using different-colored checkmarks on the same page to convey information, as it can be difficult to distinguish between colors for folks with colorblindness or low/impaired vision. If you need different styles of checkmark to convey different meanings: consider including a text label beside each checkmark, so that information is not solely conveyed by color
