I suspect that there's an unspoken (and not in control-U) limit of one time-and-weather animal per day (or 20 hours, whatever). I hung out at the time during rain for this all three game hours and it never spawned, but I'd caught the crab earlier. Dvandom (talk) 21:16, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
