Great Giant Revolt

For several centuries, the Hecatoncheires were enslaved and used to mine for minerals in the Copperbell Mines. They were enslaved using large helms that had various enchantments upon them to keep them docile and compliant. However, the enchantments on the helms eventually wore off, and the Giants went berserk, rampaging through the mines and slaughtering everything and anything in their path. Eventually the Giants reached the front of the mines, and the only way to stop them was to collapse the entrances to the mines and abandon them. Eventually the mines were forgotten to time, but the Giants within survived and slowly went mad, holding on only to the hatred of their former masters.
