The outer edge of the arena is an AoE that will instantly kill any player who touches it.
- Ill-gotten Goods: The Trade Tortoise tethers to one of the three treasures, storing an attack against the players, which will be indicated by the
Valued Customer debuff. - Material World: Converts the Valued Customer debuff into a timed
Buyer's Remorse debuff. When the debuff timer reaches 3 seconds, an additional colored overhead timer will appear above the player as a reminder of the stored attack.
- Mhachi Ruby (orange): Players who are moving or performing an action when the timer expires are exploded into the air.
- Skallic Sapphire (blue): Players who aren't moving when the timer expires are inflicted with Deep Freeze for a few seconds.
- Tortoise Shell (green): When the timer expires, a tortoise shell forces players to move roughly the arena's radius in the direction they're facing. Players must position to avoid being thrown into the death wall.
- Earthquake: Deals moderate magical damage to all players in the encounter. Can be avoided with
Phantom Geomancer's 
Suspend ability. - Recommended for You: Each player is given a
Buy! Buy! Buy! debuff and tethered to one of the treasures, which now display a number of coins above them. The piles of gold around the arena will also display coins, which can be interacted with to pick them up. Players must bring exactly enough coins to the treasure they're tethered to in order to "buy" it, storing its attack on that player and giving them Valued Customer. Players can carry at most two sets of coins at once. They will receive the 
Transporting status when carrying coins, preventing them from taking any other actions. - What're You Buying?: Effectively a timer on Recommended for You. Players who haven't "bought" an item when this ability resolves are exploded into the air for moderate damage and a stack of Vulnerability Up. Players who "bought" their item will soon receive a Material World debuff based on the color of their item.
- For rotation uptime, players may opt to ignore the purchasing mechanic entirely, as the punishment for failing the mechanic is relatively inconsequential. Moreover, this also causes the follow-up Material World debuff to not apply.
- <number>penny Inflation: The <number> in the name is taken by a number from One to Six. The gold piles display coins once again, but this time the pile displaying the number of coins matching the attack name will perform a late telegraphed knockback attack (Cost of Living) centered on itself that also deals magical room-wide damage. The knockback can be prevented with knockback immune actions. Subsequent uses of this ability also has the Trade Tortoise perform two sets of cone attacks centered on itself.
- Waterspout: A series of large circle AoEs that cover the arena in sequence. This attack is used during each Recommended for You attack beyond the first.

The shell of a tortoise, polished to a mirror sheen and slippery smooth! System: You feel yourself losing control of your body... Trade Tortoise: I believe I have just the thing for you... Yes, yes, it suits you perfectly! In fact, I can't let you leave until you buy this magnificent piece! Trade Tortoise: You may only carry two bags of coins─remember!
