“A common sight in the wilds of Gyr Abania, chapulis use the blade-like horn on their heads to strip plants bare before settling down to feast on the fallen foliage. Though primarily herbivores, they display surprising savagery when agitated, and have been known to attack both men and beasts. Powerful hind legs enable the chapuli to leap impressive distances, much to the dismay of their fleeing victims.
