Differences from FFXIV Retail

There are multiple differences in the mobile version of Coils compared to the FFXIV retail version:

  • The Binding Coil and the Second Coil tiers have been condensed into one raid tier consisting of four duties.
  • There is now a normal and savage version of each duty similar to modern raid tiers in retail.
  • All fights have been revamped such that the normal version is of story-mode difficulty.
  • The duties consist of fights against a single boss, and players will spawn on the boss arena. All trash enemies prior to the boss have been removed.
  • Rewards and item level requirements have been entirely revamped.
