“Castrum Occidens was built by the XIVth Imperial Legion in the Seventh Umbral Era, and is garrison to the 2nd Cohort under the command of Praefectus Rhitahtyn sas Arvina. The Garleans are said to have spent a great amount of time and effort examining the fragment of Dalamud lodged beneath the stronghold.
