LevequestGuildleves or Levequests are repeatable quests players can perform to earn Experience experience, Gil gil and items. Unlike regular quests, which can only be performed once per character, levequests can be performed again and again as long as the player has Leve allowances remaining.

To start a guildleve, talk to an NPC with the Levequest.png icon and <Levemete> under their name.[1] After accepting it, the guildleve appears in your Journal. A maximum of 16 guildleves can be in the journal at a time. Players can initiate the levequest from their journal while they are in the levequest's target zone.

Players gain 3 Levequest allowances every 12 hours, earth time, to a maximum of 100. Once maxed out further allowances are simply lost.

The leve reset is 12AM/PM GMT. This is 7AM/PM Eastern, 6AM/PM Central, 5AM/PM Mountain, and 4AM/PM Pacific.

Once the main scenario requirements are complete, players must speak to either Gontrant (Gridania), T'mokkri (Limsa Lominsa), or Eustace (Ul'dah) depending on the city their character began the game in. Afterwards, the levemete will give them a trial guildleve, which must be completed. This process must then be repeated for each new zone the player wishes to unlock guildleves for.

Battlecraft Leves

Main article: Battlecraft Leves

Battlecraft Leves are levequests for your Disciples of War or Magic classes and jobs. Battlecraft Leves require the player to complete specific combat related objectives within a time limit. These objectives include kill missions, capture missions, investigation missions and escort missions. When you initiate a Levequest, you have the option to adjust its difficulty. The greater the difficulty is, the higher level the enemies are and the greater the rewards will be.

After you start a Levequest, the locations of the targets are displayed on your map. Target monsters will have a silver card icon Leve Mob icon1.png above their heads.

Sometimes during a levequest a bonus monster may appear, outside of the leve objectives. Killing this monster will yield additional rewards on turn-in.

Sometimes during a levequest a treasure coffer will appear containing bonus items.

Tradecraft Leves

Main article: Tradecraft Leves

Tradecraft Leves are levequests for your crafting classes. Tradecraft Leve is different from the other Leves. It requires the player to deliver specific crafted item(s) to a client, with no time limit. The player completes the mission after delivering the item(s).

After the completion of a tradecraft leve, the player is awarded with Experience experience for that crafting class.

  • High Quality HQ icon.png items will earn players +100% additional experience and gil.

From level 1 - 49, the location of levequest givers are dependent on the class. There are 6 new levequests every 5 levels. Three of these are in the Adventurer's Guild of the Major City of where you learned the class, and the other 3 will be in a location dependent on your class.

Fieldcraft Leves

Main article: Fieldcraft Leves

Fieldcraft Leves are levequests for your gathering classes. Miner and Botanist fieldcraft leves require the player to complete specific gathering-related objectives within a time limit, much like Battlecraft leves. These objectives range from visiting specific locations to gathering specific numbers of key items. Fisher fieldcraft leves, on the other hand, work like Tradecraft leves in that you must deliver the specified number of fish to the client, with no time limits. These fish are not key items, but ordinary fish from the Fishing Log.

After the completion of a gathering leve, the player is awarded with Experience experience for that gathering class.

Grand Company Leves

Main article: Grand Company Leves

Grand Company Leves are combat levequests available only to the players of a specific Grand Company rank. Players are required to talk to an officer of the Grand Company to accept these quests. By completing these leves, players will gain Company seal Company Seals along with Experience experience.

  • Players can perform Grand Company Leves for any of the 3 Grand Companies and receive seals for their own. If you perform Grand Company Leves for your own Company, you will receive bonus experience and seals.
  • There are no Grand Company Leves after A Realm Reborn.

Temple Leves

Main article: Temple Leves

Temple Leves are a new form of Leve exclusively available in Ishgard and Heavensward areas. Similar to normal Leves, players can select from Battlecraft Leves, Fieldcraft Leves and Tradecraft Leves. Unlike normal Leves, players can undertake large-scale levequests which require ten leve allowances. These levequests are more difficult but offer greater experience and item rewards.

  • Large-scale Temple Leves require 10 Leve allowances, reward 5 times the EXP and are slightly more difficult. They are therefore less allowance efficient and more time efficient.

Temple Plates

Temple Leves use the same plates as normal leves.
