This battle exercise will test your ability to breach enemy stronghold defenses.

Eliminate targets in each of the three antechambers before infiltrating the final chamber and engaging the cyclopean toad who makes the cave its den. Making quick work of the creature is key, for the yarzons who lurk behind the chamber's boulders will emerge once they smell blood.

Guide

Aggressive difficulty r4.png Ledgeleaper

In Basic Training: Enemy Strongholds, players are required to travel through a mini-dungeon in the form of a cavern.

Your party will encounter groups of Puk Hatchlings. In one of the encounters, a hoglet will at attack your party from the back. Be sure to have your tank take its aggro as soon as possible. Some of the mobs may spawn behind the group.

There is an iron lever that will need to be pulled between each mob in order to advance in the instance - interaction on the lever will be activated when each group of mobs is destroyed. If the lever can't be pulled, check behind the group to see if another mob has spawned.

At the end of the dungeon, you will need to defeat a giant toad named Ledgeleaper.

In the Ledgeleaper's boss room, there are 2 level 15 boulders. Ledgeleaper will attempt to destroy the boulder in the right of the room. Once the boulder is destroyed a group of 3 Yarzon Lurkers enter the fight.

You should switch your damage dealers to the Yarzons and defeat them before focusing on the boss. Later in the fight, the Ledgeleaper will destroy the boulder in the left of the room and release another group of Yarzon Lurkers.

In many cases, if damage in the group is high enough, the Ledgeleaper can be defeated before the Yarzons are released.
