Anima Weapons are the level 60 Relic Weapons for Heavensward. First released in patch 3.15, players do not need to complete the level 50 Relic Weapon or Zodiac Weapon quest chains to unlock the Anima Weapon quest chain. Players who have obtained the Zodiac Zeta Weapons will be able to skip the first step of Anima Weapon quest chain. This advantage is not job specific. For example, if you have obtained the WAR Zeta weapon you will still be able to skip while doing the DRK anima weapon.

Compared to ARR's Zodiac Weapons the Heavensward relic steps are heavily based on items you can buy with Poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics and Grand Company Company seal Company Seals. Players can spend excess currency in advance before starting this quest chain. However, not all of the items are available for purchase before the quests have been started.
To unlock the quest chain, players need to be level 60 with a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic and complete the Main Scenario Quest main. You will then need to complete the one-time quest feature. Afterwards you will need to complete repfeature for each relic you wish to acquire. You will need to acquire an Astral Nodule and an Umbral Nodule from Syndony in Mor Dhona(x22,y5). There are two options for how to do so:
* Farm FATEs in each of the six Heavensward zones for crystals. You need one type of crystal from each zone.
** Collect a Luminous Wind Crystal from The Sea of Clouds, a Luminous Fire Crystal from Azys Lla, and a Luminous Lightning Crystal from The Churning Mists and turn in for an Astral Nodule.
Awoken Weapons/Quest
You will need to complete repfeature for each weapon you wish to upgrade. This quest requires you to complete 10 dungeons with the Animated weapon equipped. You need to have the weapon equipped as you click the exit portal after each dungeon, and the dungeons must be completed in the order given in the quest. High level players can solo the dungeons unsynced by using the Unrestricted Party option. The dungeons you will need to complete are as follows: dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, and dungeon. There will be 2 intermissions in which you have to talk to an NPC. After completing all 10 dungeons, turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon.
Complete Anima Weapons (iLvl 270)
Complete Anima Weapons/Quest
This is one of the more grindy steps. Pick up the quest repfeature. First you will need to complete the three dungeons dungeon, dungeon, and dungeon. These can be done in any order.

Next, you will need to farm aetheric density. This is the main grind. You can earn aetheric density by running a variety of Heavensward activities, including FATEs, dungeons, trials, and raids with your weapon equipped. The most efficient method is generally considered to be to assemble a few max-level teammates and repeatedly farm raid (A9S) unsynced. Your progress may be viewed using the Enhanced Anima Glass. Talk to the Verification Node after completing the grind.

You will also need to acquire a Newborn Soulstone via repfeature, which requires you to collect and turn in 15 Pneumite, which can be purchased from Sundry Splendors for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each (poetics total) or from your Grand Company quartermaster for 4000 Company Seals each (60000 total).

Once these steps are complete, turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon.
Introduction
The Excitatron 6000, released in patch 6.05 of Endwalker, is a special instance for Treasure Hunt similar to the Aquapolis, the Lost Canals of Uznair, and The Dungeons of Lyhe Ghiah. It can be accessed after finding and opening treasure coffers obtained from Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map. Here, players will have the chance to test their luck and obtain priceless treasures.

*Level Requirement : Disciple of War or Magic level 90
*Item Level Requirement: None
*Item Level Sync: ???
*Party Size: 1-8
*Time Limit: 60 minutes

Progression
Players progress by opening a treasure coffer in each room, which triggers a trap spawning enemy monsters. Sometimes the room has a chance to spawn extra monsters which may or may not drop extra chests.
After completing the trap event and opening the treasure coffer, players are given a key to open one of two locked doors. The door will then either open and reveal the next room, allowing the players to progress to the next floor, or kick them out.
Occasionally, there will be arrows pointing towards the correct door.

There are 5 rooms in total.

Chance Opportunities
Effects of Each Outcome
Opening a door can trigger one of four events:
*1. The door opens immediately.
*2. The door shuts briefly and then opens.
*3. The door shuts all the way, sounding alarms, and then switches to a rainbow light and opens.
*4. The door shuts all the way, sounding alarms, and players are removed from the instance.

Clearing all 5 rooms provides you with a gil reward and chance at a rare minion determined by the current patch.

When approached, the towers will set off an explosion that will deal high damage (~2k) unless you are hiding behind the wall. As in Act 2, use Sticky Tongue to bring the 3 slimes to the tower and then set them off. Rinse and repeat for the second tower.

Walls do not block slime explosions. Stay a safe distance away.

Optimizing
Bring Snort, Sticky Tongue, Sonic Boom, and Feather Rain. Snort is a cone knockback and does not deal damage to the Lava Slimes, allowing you to move multiple slimes in a single spellcast. Feather Rain is an excellent instant cast AoE detonator.

Act 1
Enemies
Durinn
*Endurance: High
*Strengths: Fire
*Weaknesses: --
*Vulnerabilities: Interrupt

Strategy
Useful Spells: Aetherial Mimicry:Healer and Pom Cure, Eruption, Fire Angon, The Ram's Voice, Flying Sardine

This is a long fight with clutch heals -- to avoid mana issues from White Wind, it is recommended that one uses Aetherial Mimicry on a healer to enhance Pom Cure. A couple fire spells like Eruption and Fire Angon are also useful. Combining Bristle and Song of Torment makes a potent DoT as well, which helps due to the length of the fight.

*Doom Impending: Heal up to full health before Durinn finishes casting this. Durinn will inflict you with Doom and Incurable. Incurable prevents you from healing yourself, so the only way to remove the Doom is to preemptively have 100% health.
*March of the Draugar: Spawns four different sets of adds. All of these are vulnerable to fire, so spells like Eruption and Fire Angon are effective. All of these adds can be inflicted with Deep Freeze, making The Ram's Voice an effective way to stall them.
The first set is a significant group of weak enemies that quickly move towards you and bind you. The second is four mages at each cardinal direction that attack at range. The third is four large adds that jump onto you (using fire aspect AoE attacks after they jump is recommended). The fourth is two large, slow moving enemies. The fourth set often comes with Durinn casting Impending Doom after, so it is recommended that you defeat them to guarantee that you are full health when Doom and Incurable is inflicted.
*Cackle: Deals high damage. This attack can be interrupted, so using a spell like Flying Sardine can stop it.
*Necrobane: An AoE that leaves behind a puddle which inflicts Bleeding and Death Becomes You while standing in it. This is vital to avoid death from Mega Death.
*Mega Death: Similarly to the Weeping City of Mhach, standing in the puddle left behind by Necrobane will nullify this attack. Otherwise, it will kill you instantly.
*Helblar Shreik and Funeral Pyre: These attacks will inflict minor damage on you, but will deal significant damage to you if you are afflicted with Death Becomes You. Avoid standing in the Necrobane puddle when these are cast.
*Brainstorm: Inflicts you with a debuff that indicates a direction you will walk in based on your orientation once the debuff runs out. This is a random direction every time; either forward, back, left, or right of where your character is facing. This is followed with Bilrost Squall.
*Bilrost Squall: Covers the area with a significant amount of AoEs, except for one part of the arena. Standing in the exact center of the arena and orienting one's self so that the Brainstorm debuff forces you to walk into the safe zone will allow you to avoid taking damage.

Status effects are debuffs that can be applied to players or hostile creatures which have an adverse impact on their combat capabilities. How these debuffs are applied, how long they last, and in some cases how potent they are varies depending on the source of the debuff. For debuffs with a duration, some, but not all, can be removed using abilities such as Esuna, or occasionally, environmental as part of the fight.

List of Status Effects
Amnesia
:The target is prevented from using abilities, but not weaponskills or spells.

Bind
:The target is immobilized, preventing movement, changes of facing, and usage of movement abilities (ex. En Avant, Shukuchi, etc). Usually breaks when any damage is received.

Blind
:Lowers the target's Accuracy for the duration, causing some attacks or spells randomly miss. Also grants immunity to gaze-based attacks.

Brink of Death
:Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Mind are reduced.

Brush with Death
:Target is unable to self-knockout for the duration.

Charm
:Causes the target to attack their allies. Players lose control of their characters during the effect.

Deep Freeze
:Prevents the target from taking any action, including weaponskills, spells, and all movement, and interrupts any actions currently in progress.

Doom
:Knocks out the target after duration expires.

Dropsy
:Deals sustained damage over time, typically a result of being within a ground effect applying the debuff.

Heavy
:Reduces the target's movement speed proportional to the intensity of the effect (ex. Heavy +40% from Leg Graze reduces the target's movement speed to 60% of normal)

Hysteria
:Causes the target to wonder aimlessly in confusion.

Infirmity
:Reduces all healing received by the target.

Interrupt
:Temporarily blocks the target from casting spells, usually as a result of a ability used to interrupt an ongoing cast. Serves as a replacement for Silence from abilities as of Shadowbringers (5.0).

Pacification
:The target is prevented from using weaponskills (or auto-attacking), but not spells or or abilities.

Paralyze
:For the duration of the effect, the target is randomly stunned for short periods of time, preventing all weaponskills/abilities/spells and movement.

Petrification
:The target is unable to execute any weaponskills/abilities/spells and movement for a short duration.

Poison
:Deals sustained damage over time.

Seduce
:The target is forced to walk towards the caster, usually preventing other actions. The player loses control of their character for the duration.

Silence
:The target is prevented from using spells, but not weaponskills or abilities.

*Amnesia - The target is prevented from using abilities, but not weaponskills or spells.
*Bind - The target is immobilized, preventing movement, changes of facing, and usage of movement abilities (ex. En Avant, Shukuchi, etc). Usually breaks when any damage is received.
*Blind - Lowers the target's Accuracy for the duration, causing some attacks or spells randomly miss.
*Charm - Causes the target to attack their allies. Players lose control of their characters during the effect.
*Deep Freeze - Prevents the target from taking any action, including weaponskills, spells, and all movement, and interrupts any actions currently in progress.
*Dropsy - Deals sustained damage over time, typically a result of being within a ground effect applying the debuff.
*Heavy - Reduces the target's movement speed proportional to the intensity of the effect (ex. Heavy +40% from Leg Graze reduces the target's movement speed to 60% of normal)
*Hysteria - Causes the target to wonder aimlessly in confusion.
*Infirmity - Reduces all healing received by the target.
*Interrupt - Temporarily blocks the target from casting spells, usually as a result of a ability used to interrupt an ongoing cast. Serves as a replacement for Silence from abilities as of Shadowbringers (5.0).
*Pacification - The target is prevented from using weaponskills (or auto-attacking), but not spells or or abilities.
*Paralyze - For the duration of the effect, the target is randomly stunned for short periods of time, preventing all weaponskills/abilities/spells and movement.
*Poison - Deals sustained damage over time.
*Seduce - The target is forced to walk towards the caster, usually preventing other actions. The player loses control of their character for the duration.
*Silence - The target is prevented from using spells, but not weaponskills or abilities.
*Slow - Increases the delay between auto-attack and weaponskills and spell recast timers (anything affected by Skill Speed or Spell Speed).
*Stun - Prevents the target from taking any action, including weaponskills, spells, and all movement, and interrupts any actions currently in progress.
