Warpshard: /* Anima Weapons (iLvl 210) */ Changed wording on tokens obtained from tribal quests to be in-line with current naming conventions

Relic Weapons Heading
TOCRIGHT
Anima Weapons are the level 60 Relic Weapons for Heavensward. First released in patch 3.15, players do not need to complete the level 50 Zodiac Weapon quest chains to unlock the Anima Weapon quest chain. Players who have obtained the Zodiac Zeta Weapons will be able to skip the first step of Anima Weapon quest chain. This advantage is not job specific. For example, if players have obtained the WAR Zeta weapon they will still be able to skip while doing the DRK anima weapon.

Compared to ARR's Zodiac Weapons, the Heavensward relic steps are heavily based on items you can buy with Poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics and Grand Company Company seal Company Seals. Players can spend excess currency in advance before starting this quest chain. However, not all of the items are available for purchase before the quests have been started. After upgrading their Anima weapon to iLvl 230, players can buy glamour versions of past enhancement steps from the Restoration Node.

Relic weapons from past expansions are not intended for combat use, but for cosmetic and collection purposes. Better weapons for the same player level include those that drop from raids and those that can be bought with Poetics Poetics.

Through a chance encounter with the master craftsman Gerolt, he and the legendary blacksmith have joined forces to create a weapon the likes of which the realm has never seen.|FFXIV Lodestone Patch 3.15 Notes}}
Animated Weapons (iLvl 170)
Animated Weapons/Quest
To unlock the quest chain, players need to be level 60 with a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic and complete the Main Scenario Quest main. You will then need to complete the one-time quest feature. Afterwards you will need to complete repfeature for each relic you wish to acquire. You will need to acquire an Astral Nodule and an Umbral Nodule from Syndony in Mor Dhona(x22,y5). There are two options for how to do so:
* Farm FATEs in each of the six Heavensward zones for crystals. You need one type of crystal from each zone. The drop rate is high as of 2022, about one in two FATEs will drop a crystal, so the grind is not onerous.
** Collect a Luminous Wind Crystal from The Sea of Clouds, a Luminous Fire Crystal from Azys Lla, and a Luminous Lightning Crystal from The Churning Mists and turn in for an Astral Nodule.
** Collect a Luminous Ice Crystal from Coerthas Western Highlands, a Luminous Earth Crystal from The Dravanian Forelands, and a Luminous Water Crystal from The Dravanian Hinterlands and turn in for an Umbral Nodule.
* Turn in a Zodiac Zeta Weapon for an Astral Nodule and Umbral Nodule. This will cause you to lose the selected Zodiac Zeta Weapon!
** However, this will allow the player to purchase replicas of all completed Zodiac Weapons (for glamour) from Drake.
Turn in the Astral Nodule and Umbral Nodule to Ardashir in Azys Lla (x7,y11) to complete the quest and receive the Animated weapon.
Awoken Weapons/Quest
Awoken weapons have the same model as the basic ones, but with a colored glow.

You will need to complete repfeature for each weapon you wish to upgrade. This quest requires you to complete 10 dungeons with the Animated weapon equipped. You need to have the weapon equipped as you click the exit portal after each dungeon, and the dungeons must be completed in the order given in the quest. High level players can solo the dungeons unsynced by using the Unrestricted Party option. The dungeons you will need to complete are as follows: dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, and dungeon. There will be 2 intermissions in which you have to talk to an NPC. After completing all 10 dungeons, turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon.

Anima Weapons/Quest
For repfeature, you will need to collect the following:
* 10x each of Unidentifiable Bone, Unidentifiable Shell, Unidentifiable Ore, and Unidentifiable Seeds (40 items total)
** These are available from multiple sources, including purchase from Sundry Splendors for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each, or poetics total, tribal tokens, loot from raid, or other sources. See Anima Weapons/Quest for more details.
* 4x each of Adamantite Francesca, Titanium Alloy Mirror, Dispelling Arrow, and Kingcake (16 items total)
** These can be crafted, or can be purchased from your Grand Company quartermaster for 5000 Company Seals each (80000 total), or purchased from other players via the Market Board for gil. See Anima Weapons/Quest for more details.
Hyperconductive Anima Weapons/Quest
Hyperconductive Anima weapons have a glow and some special effects added to their model.

For repfeature, simply buy 5x Aether Oil from Sundry Splendors for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each (poetics total) and turn them in to complete the quest and upgrade your weapon.

You can also do repfeature, but this is far less efficient, as it requires you to run each of the three Crystal Tower alliance raids per Aether Oil, for 15 runs in total.
Reconditioned Anima Weapons (iLvl 240)
Reconditioned Anima Weapons/Quest
Reconditioned Anima weapons again have a new model.

This step is a bit more involved. For repfeature, you will need to collect Umbrite and Crystal Sand. The exact amount will vary due to RNG, but will generally be 57x-60x of each. Umbrite can be purchased for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each (4275-4500 total), while Crystal Sand will require you to trade with Ulan in Idyllshire for certain items. Each trade grants 2 Crystal Sand. Most of the trade options are a poor deal, and some require items that are no longer obtainable.

Note: depending on the economy when you are doing this, primal parts might be a very efficient way to obtain the sand. Make sure to check the market board.

See Reconditioned Anima Weapons/Quest for other trade options and further details.

Once you have acquired the items, talk to Ulan to create Refined Crystal Sand and upgrade the stats on your weapon. Once the step is complete, you can turn in the quest and upgrade your weapon.
Complete Anima Weapons (iLvl 270)
Complete Anima Weapons/Quest
Complete Anima weapons change their model yet another time, but this time they already come with their built-in light show.

This is one of the more grindy steps. Pick up the quest repfeature. First you will need to complete the three dungeons dungeon, dungeon, and dungeon. These can be done in any order.

Next, you will need to farm aetheric density. This is the main grind. You can earn aetheric density by running a variety of Heavensward activities, including FATEs, dungeons, trials, and raids with your weapon equipped. The most efficient method is generally considered to be to assemble a few max-level teammates and repeatedly farm raid (A9S) unsynced. Your progress may be viewed using the Enhanced Anima Glass. Talk to the Verification Node after completing the grind.

You will also need to acquire a Newborn Soulstone via repfeature, which requires you to collect and turn in 15 Pneumite, which can be purchased from Sundry Splendors for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics each (poetics total) or from your Grand Company quartermaster for 4000 Company Seals each (60000 total).

Once these steps are complete, turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon.
Lux Anima Weapons are the final form of this weapon series. They use the same model as the previous ones but now with very showy special effects.

You will need to complete the one-time quests feature and feature. Afterwards, for repfeature you will need to complete 12 trials, which come in 4 groups. The groups have to completed in a specific order, but trials within a given group can be completed in any order. The trials are as follows:
* Step 1: trial, trial, trial
* Step 2: trial, trial, trial, trial
* Step 3: trial, trial
* Step 4: trial, trial, trial

You will also need to purchase 1 bottle of Archaic Enchanted Ink from Sundry Splendors for poetics Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.

After completing the trials and purchasing the Archaic Enchanted Ink, turn in the quest to complete the final stage of your weapon!
You can't put your anima relic weapon in Glamour Dressers, but you can use replicas that became available after Gerolt introduces you to a Restoration Node when completing repfeature. Replicas became available gradually as you move through stages.
Repeat
* This event was repeated a second time on September 3, 2017 to November 1, 2017.
* This event was repeated a third time on August 19, 2020 to December 8, 2020.

Guide
*Start the event questline by speaking to Poor-heeled Youth in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (x9.2, y9.1). Player must be level 15 or higher and have completed The Gridanian Envoy, The Lominsan Envoy or The Ul'dahn Envoy quest.

*Completing the quest will award the player with a Yo-kai Watch and a Yo-kai Medallium which players can use to obtain Yo-kai Medals.

*Yo-kai Medals are obtained by completing FATEs with a Silver or Gold rating in La Noscea, The Black Shroud and Thanalan while the Yo-kai Watch is equipped.

*After collecting Yo-kai Medals, speak with The Wandering Executive in Gold Saucer (x5.2, y6.9). You can buy Yo-kai Minions by exchanging medals you collect.

*The first minion you collect takes 1 medal. Minion 2-4 takes 3 medals each to obtain. Minion 5-7 takes 5 medals each to obtain. Minion 8-10 takes 7 medals each to obtain. Minion 11-13 takes 9 medals each to obtain. To buy all minions, you will need a total of 73 Yo-kai Medals.

*You can obtain Legendary Yo-kai Medals by completing FATEs in the specific zones with Silver or Gold rating while having your Yo-kai Minions out. You do not need to have the Yo-kai Watch equipped. Each minion allows you to obtain Legendary Yo-kai Medals of that type. Check the FATE locations below for more details.

*You can exchange the Legendary Yo-kai Medals for Yo-kai Weapons. Different medals correspond to different weapons. Each new weapon cost 2 more Legendary Yo-kai Medals than the previous, with the initial weapon costing 7 Legendary Medals.

*Originally, there are a total of 13 Yo-kai Minions and 13 Yo-kai Weapons you can collect. Obtaining 13 Yo-kai minions will reward the Whisper-go mount, while obtaining 13 Yo-kai weapons will reward the Whisper A-go-go mount.

*In 2020, there are a total of 17 Yo-kai minions and 17 Yok-kai weapons. By obtaining 17 Yo-kai weapons, you will obtain the Jibanyan Couch mount

* This is also an excellent opportunity to farm Atmas for the Zodiac Weapons if you happen to also be working on that. Simply ensure that you have completed the quest Up in Arms and have a Zenith tier relic weapon equipped, and you can farm Yo-kai medals and Atmas simultaneously.

Yo-Kai Minions & Weapon Collecting
<noinclude>Eureka Hydatos</noinclude>
Can be bought from Expedition Artisan in Eureka Hydatos. Chest and leg armor cost x50 Hydatos Crystals each, while head, hands and boots are for x30 Hydatos Crystals each. Players must have all 56 Logos Actions unlocked to be able to purchase these items.
This armor uses same model as basic Elemental Armor, but it is recolored with an added glowing light effect. This step takes considerably longer, because Hydatos Crystals drop in lower quantities compared to Pyros Crystals.
Notorious Monsters
Players may encounter notorious monsters that cannot be found in other regions of Eureka. Those who would engage them are advised to seek aid from other adventurers.

Defeating notorious monsters yields a great deal of elemental EXP, as well as various rewards.

The Baldesion Arsenal
The Baldesion Arsenal is a brutally difficult open dungeon that can be challenged by up to 56 players at once. To enter, you will need to complete the main Eureka storyline and prepare for the worst.

The entry requirements for this duty are extremely strict, as savage bosses, devious traps, and an effect that prevents resurrection by certain means all await you within.

Those who hope to challenge this dungeon should read all available information thoroughly, and properly understand the risks before entering.

Entering the Baldesion Arsenal
Aetherial nodes throughout Hydatos can provide access to the Baldesion Arsenal.

To make use of these nodes, your elemental level must be 60. You will also require a particular status enhancement.

Aetherial Nodes
There are two varieties of aetherial nodes: unstable blue nodes, and stable red nodes. Regardless of type, each node will disappear once accessed by a player, or if a certain amount of time passes without its being accessed.
* Only the player who accesses a node will be transported, even if that player is in a party at the time.

The appearance of aetherial nodes is related to the atmospheric condition umbral turbulence.

Unstable Aetherial Nodes
An Aetheric Stabilizer is required to use unstable nodes. Aetheric Stabilizers can be acquired in Hydatos through various means, and will be consumed once they are used to access a node.

Stable Aetherial Nodes
Stable nodes do not require the use of Aetheric Stabilizers. However, each will only appear after a certain amount of time has passed following the disappearance of an unstable node.

Resurrection Restrictions
The detrimental status effect "Resurrection Restricted" will be applied upon entering the Baldesion Arsenal. While this status is active, you can only be resurrected via limit break or a specific logos action. For this reason, be aware that KO carries a heavy risk.

Withdrawal and Re-entry
If you use choose the Return function from the menu, or accept the prompt to return to the starting point while KO'd in the Baldesion Arsenal, you will be removed from the dungeon and transported to the expedition camp in Eureka Hydatos. To re-enter the dungeon, you will once again need to access an aetherial node, so think carefully before returning.

Rewards
The Baldesion Arsenal#Loot
Those who defeat the bosses within and clear the entirety of the Baldesion Arsenal will be richly rewarded. To do so will be no mean feat, however─you must communicate well with your fellow adventurers if any of you are to reach the prize.

The Baldesion Arsenal is a brutally difficult open dungeon that can be challenged by up to 56 players at once. To enter, you will need to complete the main Eureka storyline and prepare for the worst.

*Gather salamander oil from salamanders.
*Use the salamander oil on Godbert.
*Use the salamander oil on Godbert yet again.
*Use the salamander oil on Godbert once more.
*Report to Rukusa Farusa.

Journal
*Rukusa Farusa is a man much tried.

*Rukusa Farusa confides that a tourist has taken up residence in his infirmary. The man in question, a wealthy goldsmith, requires salamander oil for his hurts. Draw four vials' worth from a salamander.

*After some deft work, you have four vials' worth of salamander oil. Show it to the goldsmith.

*The work is more hands-on than you were led to expect. Pour the salamander oil on Godbert, and remember that generosity is a virtue.

*You may as well finished what you started. Knead the oil into Godbert's weary flesh. This too is a virtue, though one less well defined.

*Your work is far from over. Keep working those knots out of Godbert's tense muscles.

*Keep going. You know what to do.

*Godbert has reached a heightened state of bliss thanks to your expert ministrations. Report your success to Rukusa Farusa.

*Rukusa Farusa tells that the Ul'dahn artisan is under a misapprehension. Or perhaps, it is the nature of those both wealthy and seeking to believe as they like.

Daily and Weekly Checklist

Tribal Quests (known as "Beast Tribe Quests" prior to Patch 6.1) are daily quests that require the players to perform tasks dictated by various Tribes. Players can earn items, Allagan Tomestones, and venture Ventures for completing these quests. Players will always earn exp experience, gil gil, and Reputation points. By increasing reputation, they will gain access to the tribe vendor which sells unique mounts, minions, furnishings and other items.

*Tribal Quests don't unlock until players reach the level 41 Main Scenario Quest main, even if your character is over level 41. Once unlocked via the MSQ, A Realm Reborn Tribal Quests become dependent on character level for advancement.
**Beginning in Heavensward, Tribal Quests utilize Quest Sync, and cannot be turned in on a different class than they were picked up as. This means that they can be done at any level within the expansion's level range. When above the expansion's level cap, EXP rewards are reduced to a very low amount. The expansion Tribes still require certain MSQ progression for the initial unlock.

*Players can perform 12 daily quests per day. At neutral reputation rank (Rank 1) players can only accept 3 quests from any individual tribe. After A Realm Reborn tribes, the limit is 3 quests per tribe per day regardless of rank.

*Each Quest gives a certain amount of Reputation points, sometimes depending on the rank of the quest. See Reputation for more on ranking up.

*The quests available on a given day are random, from a selection of all unlocked quests. In general, completing a set of 3 quests from a faction will usually take around 15 minutes, but this can be up or down by an additional 5-10 minutes depending on which quests you end up with. Some quests will require an item from participating in specific FATEs in the area, and waiting for these can take time. However, one can participate in them without the quest and will still be rewarded with the item, making it possible to save them up for later.

*Turning in a completed Tribal quest after daily reset will not count towards new day's limit, however one cannot accept additional quests until they have completed or abandoned the quests you still have from the previous day. Once they are completed or abandoned, players are free to accept new ones within the current day's limit. Quests reset every day at 11AM ET (8AM PT).

Ixali Daily Quests are crafter-orientated, are located in North Shroud (x24,y22), and were released in Patch 2.35. Unlike other Tribes quests, players will mainly craft items, not battle enemies, in order to complete the Ixali quests.
Because of this, the daily quests can only be accepted and completed as a crafting class of the required level or higher, starting with level 1 and going up to 18. Some dailies also involve gathering, but don't require more than level 1 in the gathering class. If any combat is involved, the quest description will state a recommended combat class level.

*To unlock Ixali Daily Quests, talk to Scarlet in New Gridania (x9.9,y11.4) to begin the level 1 quest feature. Players must have previously completed the Lv 41 quest main.
