*Strolling through the Pendants, you chance upon a pink pixie named Tyr Beq. Though you can make little sense of what they say, it would seem some unsavory individual is causing people to suffer from nightmares. Out of concern for your fellow man, you decide to lend the pixie your aid, and together you set forth for Sullen to rendezvous with another ally.

*※Please note that the difficulty of this quest has been synced to your current level. Furthermore, you may not proceed with a class or job that is different from when you accepted this quest.

*Joining Tyr Beq in Sullen, you soon encounter the ally, a prodigious porxie familiar. Introducing itself as Ezel II, dream devourer extraordinaire, the familiar reveals it has been investigating the nightmares. The culprit, it believes, is a certain pixie bereft of color, who has the power to manipulate dreams directly─something which, Tyr Beq remarks with alarm, should only be possible by one who is the equal of Titania. At this juncture, noticing your deepening confusion, Ezel II bids you follow it─hopefully to a place of some clarity.

*Coming to a shack, you find a little girl in the grip of a nightmare, which Ezel II proceeds to devour with relish. However, no sooner does it gulp down the last of the unholy meal than everything threatens to come back up. It is then that the colorless pixie appears before you. This An Lad reveals that they were the one who planted the nightmare within the child. In a stroke of quick thinking, Tyr Beq uses their power to give corporeal form to the regurgitated nightmare; it now falls to you to vanquish the abomination.

*You have struck down the nightmare creature, thereby earning Tyr Beq's admiring gaze.

*According to Tyr Beq, your victory will have changed the ending to the child's dream. Without further delay, you and your companions make your way back to Sullen to look in on the little girl.

*Your victory over the nightmare appears to have instilled the little girl with courage. Upon awakening, she is able to bare her heart to her stepbrother, thus effecting a positive change in her reality and eliminating the void in which her torment resided. By way of thanks for your cooperation, Tyr Beq extends you an invitation to their playground. In order to enter, you need but present yourself to Thon Sul in Lydha Lran.

However, these gates were recently sealed off by An Lad, who desires to control the dreams of those mortals who share their torment. By your recent victory, Tyr Beq senses that their hold over the gates has weakened, and they urge you to reach out to the Lakeland gate while holding an image of the region in your mind.

*At your outstretched hand, the haze shrouding the gate lifts, its doors swinging open to release a cluster of dream bubbles. Tyr Beq explains that these objects hold the memories of mortals' fun and happy dreams, and are used to fill Lyhe Mheg with delightful things. In order to restore the garden to its former glory, however, it seems you will require many more of them.

*The Resistance fighter informs you that Raubahn is prepared to discuss strategy. You offer a curt nod and he proceeds to escort you to headquarters.

*As Raubahn tells it, the Alliance and imperials are at a stalemate, neither side willing to concede defeat. The reason for this deadlock was unclear until a scout interrupts your meeting with grave news─imperial soldiers have broken through the Alliance's defenses, being led by a man who appears to be Lord Zenos. You prepare to set out for battle when you are suddenly racked with pain as an otherworldly voice reaches out to you, but the agony of this aetherial calling does little to weaken your resolve. Raubahn can but wish you luck as you set out to do what you must.

*You arrive on the battlefield to find Lyse and Yugiri motionless on the ground, Lord Hien struggling and failing to get on his feet. Towering over them is Lord Zenos, or the Ascian who wears his face. Battle quickly ensues, but try as you might, the Ascian refuses to fall. With ill-fated timing, the pain of the voice brings you to your knees. Your foe standing over you, the world goes dark as his blade comes crashing down on you.

*When next you open your eyes, you find yourself in a strange, aetherial plane. Behind you stands a robed figure. He offers no explanations of what is happening, only a message: return to the Crystal Tower where a beacon has been placed for you.

*You awake in a soft, warm bed, a young Elezen girl dashing out of the room. Was the hooded figure a dream? The thought is pushed aside as Aymeric enters, relief plain on his face. He explains that, just as the Ascian was about to strike, Estinien intervened and whisked you away to safety. He goes on to say the man posing as Lord Zenos retreated shortly after, prompting the remaining imperial forces to follow suit. Before taking his leave, Aymeric relays a message to you, that when you are well and rested, you are to return home where friends are waiting for you.

*A hush falls over the Rising Stones as you enter, which is soon broken by an overjoyed Tataru. You recount to her all that took place, from your battle at Ala Mhigo, to the mysterious robed figure and his cryptic message. After giving it careful thought, she suspects this person, whomever they may be, is possibly the key to rescuing the others. With renewed resolve, she assures you the Scions who yet remain at the Rising Stones will find the beacon waiting for you at the Crystal Tower.

*Tataru never lost hope that you would return. In fact, she fashioned you a new set of garments to celebrate your return. Though it is unclear what you will find at the Crystal Tower, perhaps this garb will be of use on the road ahead.

==Solo Duty Walkthrough==
Upon speaking with [[Raubahn]], you will enter a two part solo duty.
*Initially all you will have is four skills on the pet bar. Follow standard mechanics for this part of the duty and can be cleared with ease.

*In the 2nd part of the fight, you will have all spells/skills avalible again. When Zenos becomes untargetable players must instead take down his swords as in [[Ala Mhigo (Duty)|Ala Mhigo]]. Jobs that rely on DoT should DoT multiple swords while avoiding aoe and DPSing each in turn, order does not matter as all must be taken down to prevent 999,999 damage. Following this DPS check Zenos will use multiple previously seen attacks in quick succession before returning to normal rotation.

*Should you fail to complete the solo duty both parts must be replayed.

==Introduction==
[[Aether Currents]] are required to unlock the ability to fly on [[mounts]]. Each [[locations|zone]] released in [[Heavensward]] (3.0) and [[Stormblood]] (4.0) has 15 Aether Currents (with the exception of Azys Lla, which only has 5). Players are required to attune to all 15 Aether Currents to unlock flying in that zone. Some Aether Currents are found scatter through the zone (blue->green), others are rewarded by completing [[Main Scenario Quests]] and [[Side Quests]] (red->yellow). Aether Currents in field look like greenish blobs of wind, players can right click on them to attune. Players can check their attunement progress through the Aether Currents window under Travel in the main menu.

==Unlock==
Aether Currents are unlocked after completing the 3.0 [[Main Scenario Quest]] [[Divine Intervention]]. The same quest that awards the player the [[Black Chocobo]] and [[Aether Compass]].

==Aether Compass==
Aether Compass gives you the bearing and distance of the nearest Aether Current upon use. It is used to locate Aether Currents in the field and can be found in your Key Items tab of your bag. If you lose it you can talk to [[Gibrillont]] at the Forgotten Knight in [[Ishgard]] or Gaufrid (x14.3, y9.6) in [[Rhalgr's Reach]] to get another.

==Introduction==
[[Aether Currents]] are required to unlock the ability to fly on [[mounts]]. Each [[locations|zone]] released in [[Heavensward]] (3.0) and [[Stormblood]] (4.0) has 15 Aether Currents (with the exception of Azys Lla, which only has 5). Players are required to attune to all 15 Aether Currents to unlock flying in that zone. Some Aether Currents are found scatter through the zone (blue->green), others are rewarded by completing [[Main Scenario Quests]] and [[Side Quests]] (red->yellow). Aether Currents in field look like greenish blobs of wind, players can right click on them to attune. Players can check their attunement progress through the Aether Currents window under Travel in the main menu.

Aether Currents are unlocked after completing the 3.0 [[Main Scenario Quest]] [[Divine Intervention]]. The same quest that awards the player the [[Black Chocobo]] and [[Aether Compass]].
