The leakproof container needed is the Sturdy Barrel located at X=12.0 Y=10.9

Dialogue
Y'shtola: If Cagnazzo's intent was for his parting words to give us pause, then he has succeeded.
Y'shtola: To embrace death, to find satisfaction in oblivion... Perhaps it is indeed true that many voidsent yearn to return to the Lifestream.

Zero: Why does he look so defeated? We are closer to finding his sister, are we not?

Estinien: The eye explains how they managed to cross over, but we still don't know why they chose this time and this place for an incursion.

Spirited Engineer: Looking to head back to Lapis Manalis? Just say the word.

System: Venture to Lapis Manalis?

Varshahn: Oh, Azdaja... What has become of you, that even your eye should be so spent of aether...
Varshahn: I cannot bear the thought of her being held captive a moment longer, but how will I find her? What must I do?

Estinien: Calm yourself, Vrtra.
Estinien: I appreciate that you are upset, but such passion clouds your judgment. You must endeavor to remain composed.
Estinien: When your mind is clear, we may consider how to proceed with our search.

Varshahn: <sigh> You are right...

Estinien: In the meantime, I will help Alphinaud and Alisaie back at the village.

Y'shtola: That sounds like a fine idea. We should go as well.

Alisaie: Oh, you've come too.

Estinien: Leave Vrtra be. He needs time alone with his thoughts.

Y'shtola: Let us take comfort in the knowledge that the voidgate is closed, and that the people of Garlemald need fear the voidsent hordes no longer.

Zero: We're to help Alphinaud and Alisaie, are we? There's little else of interest here, so I wouldn't be opposed to the diversion.

Varshahn: Pray give me a moment longer.

Alphinaud: I don't see Vrtra with you. Is everything all right?

Estinien: He needs a moment to himself. While he is indisposed, we thought we'd lend you a hand.

Alisaie: I've just finished patrolling the area, so we're fine on that front.
Alisaie: There are no signs of voidsent, and I doubt we'll see any more now that the gate has been closed.
Alisaie: As for Alphinaud, he's set his sights on the ceruleum spring. We're hoping to take as much of the stuff as the snowcraft can bear.
Alisaie: That much fuel would keep the people warm for a good while.

Alphinaud: We've managed to procure a few suitable containers for transporting the ceruleum, and were about to return to the spring.

Estinien: If you've a mind to scrounge up more containers, I can take what you have now and get them filled.

Alphinaud: Thank you, Estinien. The more we can load into the snowcraft, the better.

Alisaie: Would you and Y'shtola mind helping us with our search, then?
Alisaie: You'll need to take any suitable containers to the spring, and then back to the snowcraft once you've filled them with ceruleum.

Alphinaud: Any luck finding a container?

Alisaie: Hmmm, will this be solid enough?

Y'shtola: It is a welcome change to have Zero helping of her own volition. Perhaps she is finally beginning to trust us.

System: This is less a container and more a sieve, given its poor condition and visible holes...
System: The container appears to be well suited for repurposing. It would be a fine choice for ceruleum storage.

Zero: We just need to carry this liquid fire to the snowcraft? Sounds simple enough.

System: The container is now filled to the brim with ceruleum.

Zero: If that one has been filled, you should hurry and take it to the snowcraft.
Zero: Estinien has already seen to the rest.
Zero: Go on ahead. The others asked that I remain here in the event they find more.

Estinien: Good work, my friend. I expect we'll have a sizable load to deliver.

System: The snowcraft is all but overflowing with ceruleum containers. However, several of your comrades have yet to arrive. Perhaps a nearby vantage point will afford you a more favorable view of their return.

Alisaie: It was good seeing you again. I hope you'll remember to call on us sooner the next time you need help.

Estinien: Vrtra has quelled the tempest within his heart. He should be fine.

Y'shtola: That Azdaja's eye hasn't succumbed to Darkness bespeaks her incredible resilience.
Y'shtola: So let us trust in this sign that she yet lives, and be not deterred in our efforts.

Zero: I'm not your keeper, nor do I know what you expect of me. But I will keep my word.

Varshahn: I must apologize for my bout of melancholy. To be so easily shaken ill becomes a great wyrm.
Varshahn: You have remained at my side and ever offered me support and encouragement. I haven't the words to thank you.

Alphinaud: I suppose this is where we part ways for now.
Alphinaud: Though we have every faith in you, we will pray for your safety all the same.

Alisaie: I'm glad we had the chance to talk, Zero. Take care, and till next time!

Zero: Till next time.

*Wait at the designated location.
*Speak with the spirited engineer.
*Enter Lapis Manalis.
*Speak with Y'shtola at Deepspine.

Journal
* Relief is writ plain on Alphinaud's face.

* With the voidsent driven off, and Zero resting, Alphinaud suggests waiting for your comrades to return from the lake.

* The immediate threat of voidsent is gone for now, but having fought them in such numbers, you are all but certain a voidgate is indeed somewhere on the nearby mountain. Happily, the repairs on the snowcraft are nearing completion, and it is decided that you will head back to its location in Cerulea Ingens. Alisaie is only too eager to depart, and much to her surprise, Zero offers to accompany you without the need for a bargain, seemingly having been inspired by Alisaie's earnest desire to help others. Alphinaud joins you as well, and so together you set forth, with Y'shtola and Estinien leading the way.

* You arrive at Cerulea Ingens to find a fully functioning snowcraft. To ensure you safely reach your destination on the mountain, the engineer offers to serve as your pilot. Thus do you climb aboard and steel yourself for what dangers may await at Lapis Manalis.
** ※To enlist your companion NPCs for this duty, speak with them near the entrance or access Duty Support via the main menu. Use the Duty Finder if you wish to complete the instance alongside fellow players.

* In the depths of Lapis Manalis, you and your companions finally locate the voidgate. There you come face-to-face with the archfiend of water, Cagnazzo, and make ready for what promises to be a torrential encounter.
** ※In the event that you leave Lapis Manalis, you may re-enter by speaking with the spirited engineer.

* The archfiend suffers a crushing defeat at your hands, and yet he seems strangely satisfied with the outcome. Delight is writ plain on Cagnazzo's face as he reveals what you believed to be Varshahn's sister was, in fact, only her eye. With his dying breath, Cagnazzo bids you seek out Golbez to learn what has truly become of Azdaja. He then dissipates into aether, leaving a crestfallen Varshahn holding the eye of his beloved sister.

* Though Golbez's ultimate aim remains unclear, knowing he likely requires immense stores of aether to see his plans through, you have cause to believe Azdaja yet lives. Even so, Y'shtola cannot help but wonder why he would choose now to finally put his plans into motion.

Dialogue
Alisaie: Thank goodness we found Zero when we did.

Jullus: I've also received word that the transport arrived safely at Camp Broken Glass. They send their thanks to the “woman in black.”

Zero: ...I'm fine. I just need rest.

Alphinaud: As Alisaie said, many people owe Zero their lives.
Alphinaud: This is not her world, nor her battle to fight, yet she risked life and limb for us nonetheless. That will not be soon forgotten.
Alphinaud: Now then, I expect that our friends will return soon. Once everyone has gathered, we can take stock of the situation.
Alphinaud: We've naught to do but wait for the others. They should not be much longer.

Alisaie: Perhaps you should have a rest too.

Zero: Apologies for the delay. I've finished replenishing my aether.

Alphinaud: Full glad am I to hear it. We must thank you again, Zero.

Alisaie: Indeed, many are still alive because of you. Those soldiers not least of all.

Zero: ...How fared you? Better than I did, by all accounts.

Alisaie: We had to contend with our fair share of voidsent en route to the snowcraft, but we had the benefit of numbers.

Estinien: With their help, we quickly dispatched all the voidsent that came our way. Thankfully, they stay dead in our world.
Estinien: We were trying to decide what to do next when we received word about the transport.

Alphinaud: Which is how Alisaie, Forename, and I came to find you.

Y'shtola: While the immediate threat has been addressed, we cannot rest easy yet. For voidsent to appear in such numbers, we must assume that a voidgate has indeed been opened nearby.

Jullus: Meaning more of them can come through at their leisure.
Jullus: It seems the best course of action is to investigate Lapis Manalis, as you intend. What is the state of the snowcraft?

Y'shtola: Nearly operational, I believe. Vrtra is with the engineer, who is hard at work as we speak. Why don't we join them in Cerulea Ingens?

Alisaie: Finally, a chance to go on the offensive!

Zero: ...I would join you as well.

Alisaie: I wouldn't dream of refusing you. But...what did you have in mind for payment?

Zero: Payment won't be necessary.
Zero: I will do this because...I want to.
Zero: You have...kindled something within me. A compulsion─a desire to act─that has been burning since you came to my aid out in the snow.
Zero: I do not understand it, but I wish to, and to that end I will heed it. Then perhaps I'll understand your answer.

Alphinaud: I would also like to join you in tracing the voidsent to their origin. Though that would mean neglecting my duties here...

Jullus: Don't worry about us. Between my people and the contingent, we can keep things running well enough. Just find where the voidsent are coming from, and see that they stop.
Jullus: Take care, Zero.

Zero: I will.

Alphinaud: For the sake of our friends, I pray we succeed in our mission.
Alphinaud: The voidgate is of course our main objective, but if we can also find useful salvage, then all the better.

Alisaie: I'm glad the engineer is safe. I'd never forgive myself if something had happened to him on our account.

Estinien: Vrtra insisted on staying behind to guard the snowcraft. He's anxious to get up that mountain, and understandably so.

Y'shtola: “Mammoth” is an apt name for the craft. Its prodigious size made defending it difficult, but it came through unscathed.

Zero: To have to go to such lengths to traverse a single mountain... The people of this land do not have easy lives.

Varshahn: 'Tis good to see you all safe and well. The craft stands ready, I am pleased to say. Our engineer friend has worked tirelessly, his zeal a match for any of my alchemists.

Spirited Engineer: There you are! Your timing couldn't be better.
Spirited Engineer: Thanks to Varshahn's help, I've managed to finish the repairs faster than I anticipated. The mammoth's ready for the snow once more!
Spirited Engineer: You can leave the piloting to me, too. It'd be my pleasure to get you to where you need to go!

Alisaie: You are too kind. Thank you.
Alisaie: Let's be on our way then, shall we?

Q1: What will you do?
A1: Small talk.
A1: Form a party and enter Lapis Manalis.
A1: Nothing.

Alphinaud: As we hopefully demonstrated, we're still capable of holding our own in battle. Which is to say, please don't hesitate to rely on us.

Alisaie: When we find whoever's responsible for unleashing the voidsent, I'm going to give them a piece of my mind!

Estinien: I don't make a habit of fighting atop magitek, but it shouldn't be any more difficult than doing so astride a dragon. I welcome the change of pace.

Y'shtola: Once aboard the mammoth, we will all need to change into attire more suitable for combat.
Y'shtola: It can be no coincidence that a voidgate has opened where Vrtra sensed his sister. In all likelihood, something is in the offing, and we must be prepared.

Zero: If there is indeed a voidgate, then there will be voidsent, and not merely lesser ones.
Zero: Be on your guard for all manner of threats.

Varshahn: Come, Forename. Let us find the truth of my sister's aura!

Spirited Engineer: Just say the word and we're off.
Spirited Engineer: Whenever you're ready, friend.

System: Venture to Lapis Manalis?

Varshahn: Oh, Azdaja...

Estinien: That they should go so far as to use Azdaja's eye as bait... What could they be after?

Zero: Why does he look so defeated? We are closer to finding his sister, are we not?

Y'shtola: So, we have discovered the source of the voidsent outbreak in Garlemald.

Estinien: A gate forced open from the void...

Y'shtola: The barrier between our worlds is especially thin here, I suspect.
Y'shtola: Elsewise I see little reason why the reapers chose to live in such an inhospitable place.

Estinien: Even if the conditions are ideal, we're talking about a gate that could pass an archfiend. Opening one so large could not have been easy.

Y'shtola: In the age of Allag, Emperor Xande created an enormous portal using a prodigious amount of aether harnessed by the Crystal Tower.
Y'shtola: In theory, a similar feat should be possible from within the void. One need but have the requisite amount of aether...such as that harbored by a great wyrm's eye.

Varshahn: And its aether is indeed greatly diminished...

Estinien: In Forename's vision, Golbez let his archfiends feed upon Azdaja's aether. If he has also taken an eye to open this gate...

Y'shtola: It does not bode well, I know. Nevertheless, we must remain hopeful and continue our search.
Y'shtola: What I find curious is why our foes chose to strike now, some five thousand years after Azdaja vanished into the void.
Y'shtola: And while their overarching plan remains a mystery, what exactly was Cagnazzo's part in it that he had finished?
Steps
* Speak with the veteran Radiant.
* Speak with Nidhana.
* Stand guard at the designated location.

Journal
*Y'shtola is eager to depart for the vault.

*Y'shtola has returned from the city with not only Varshahn, but also Estinien in tow. Wondering what ominous danger the Archon might be expecting, you set off for Akyaali, and the vessel waiting to bear your little group to the ruins in the Bounty.

*As promised, you find a ship moored at Akyaali. You board without further delay and depart for the vault, Y'shtola's quiet focus offset somewhat by Nidhana's infectious enthusiasm.
**※In the event that you leave Weaver's Warding, you may re-enter by speaking with the veteran Radiant in Akyaali.

*Announcing her intention to test the efficacy of the warding scale against the corrupting influence of the Thirteenth, Y'shtola summons forth two nixies with an unexpectedly light-hearted ritual. The Archon then embeds the talisman within one of the diminutive familiars before sending both through the gate into the void. For your part, you are charged with standing guard while the experiment is in progress, lest hostile entities attempt to slip through the open portal.

*Judging the experiment has gone on long enough, Y'shtola recalls her nixies from the shadowy realm beyond. The results are plain─while the warded familiar appears unaffected, its unprotected comrade has already begun to transform into a creature of the void. Y'shtola notes that, although G'raha Tia's hypothesis appears to be correct, the talisman will require augmentation to withstand the relentless influence of the Thirteenth.

*A question from Estinien prompts a brief lecture on the nature of the void, a world plunged into an eternal darkness when the Ascians failed catastrophically in their efforts to force a Rejoining. You add to the explanation, sharing your own memories of the Thirteenth and the aether-starved monstrosities which stalk its sunless expanse. Varshahn considers these horrors good reason to discourage your expedition, but something in his demeanor suggests he feels otherwise in his heart of hearts...

Dialogue
Varshahn: Archon Y'shtola requested that I join you, but of her plans she offered scant detail...

Estinien: The boy Mehrahd was glad to hear the news of the foundation. It means a new life for him and his sister.

Nidhana: Oh, I forgot to mention! The Font of Maya attracts aggressive wildlife, and you should watch out for them when, uh...you go there next time. My apologies.

Y'shtola: Look who I came across. Estinien seemed in need of diversion, and we, in turn, may have need of his lance...
Y'shtola: Right, then. Now that our little party is assembled, let us make our way to the ruins.

Estinien: Will we have need of Matsya's boat again?

Varshahn: Not this time. Once Y'shtola informed me of our destination, I arranged for a vessel to be made ready at Akyaali.

Y'shtola: Your Excellency is ever the gracious host. Shall we?
Y'shtola: Onto the boat, if you please. We can chat on the way there.

Estinien: 'Tis likely not needed with Vrtra along, but I held onto the map against the chance we might return to the ruins.

Varshahn: You need not keep your weapons close at hand. The guardians will not attack if I am present, so I pray you leave them be...

Nidhana: And all this time I thought the tales of Alzadaal's hoard were no more than drunken sailors' fancies!

Veteran Radiant: The ship is yours to command.

Varshahn: Our thanks. We set sail at once.

Nidhana: Oh, this is so exciting! Alzadaal's Legacy─to see the truth of a legend with mine own eyes!

Veteran Radiant: All aboard for the treasure vault!

Q1: Proceed to Weaver's Warding?

Y'shtola: Poor Vrtra─he really should have spoken with Estinien before we left. I shudder to think what we've cost them in terms of construct materials...

Estinien: I thought we cleared this place of constructs the last time we came through. 'Twould seem a few stragglers remained.

Varshahn: ...He laid waste to them ere I could utter a single word. <sigh>

Veteran Radiant: Will you be setting sail for the vault?

Q2: Proceed to Weaver's Warding?

Y'shtola: We need to wait for a time to ensure a meaningful result. Be patient, and keep watch for any intruders.

Estinien: I struggle to picture Y'shtola as a little girl. Easier to believe she sprang fully formed from one of Master Matoya's cauldrons.

Varshahn: Every time I come here, it reminds me of that dark portal above the Crystal Tower...and the final lash of Azdaja's tail as she plunged into the void.

Nidhana: Sisters save me, I will never see Y'shtola the same way again! “Froth and foam,” indeed!
