[[Eurekan Gear]] Sets are level 70 relic gear sets, that were introduced with [[Stormblood]]. Released in patch 4.25, players can obtain the first set of Eureka Gear after clearing the level 70 job quest and gaining access to [[The Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos]]. Unlike the [[Eurekan Weapons]] some Eurekan Gear Sets are acquired individually without having to complete previous steps of Eurekan Gear.

Alongside the Eurekan Gear Sets players can also obtain the [[Eurekan Weapons]].

In Eureka Anemos the Antiquated Artifact equipment pieces can be exchanged for the Artifact equipment pieces, then for the +1 version, last but not least for the +2 version and finally for the Anemos version of the Artifact gear, which is a dyable version with 5 materia slots of the aforementioned.

==Elemental Gear Sets==

Unlike with the Artifact and Anemos Gear Sets, there isn't an exclusive gear set for each job, but only job group specific gear.
Also, these sets can be acquired individually without having to have the previous gear sets. They can simply be bought with Pyros Crystals in Eureka Pyros.
Additionally, players must have at least 50 [[Logos Actions]] unlocked, to be able to purchase these items.

The final upgrade to the Eureka gear features a recolored version of the Elemental Gear Sets with an added glowing light effect.
In the game it is known as Elemental Gear +2, however since it goes hand in hand with the Physeos Weapon it is also known as the Physeos Set.

==Pre-Requisite==
Before beginning to create your [[Recollection Weapons|Recollection Weapon]], you must:
* Reach level 80 for your chosen [[Job]] as a [[Disciple of War]] or [[Disciple of Magic]] and have the [[Augmented Resistance Weapon]] for your given job in your inventory.
 

Upon completing this quest, players will receive one Recollection Weapon based on the job with which they progressed through the quest.

==Notes==
You do not need to have your Augmented Resistance weapon equipped, or even be the same job, to earn bitter memories. 
Unlike with previous relic weapon dungeon quests, you '''cannot''' use the Undersized Party option to run the level 60 Heavensward dungeons unsynced. You have to do them "properly", with a party at level 60. This includes Adventurer Squadrons and the Command Missions if they are Level 60, which will have 2 dungeons at the required level.
