==General Information==
[[Black Mage]] is a [[jobs|job]] that specializes in devastating their enemies through the use of black magic. Black Mage evolves from the [[classes|class]] [[thaumaturge]]. Using [[staves]] and [[scepters]], Black Mages are ranged damage dealers with powerful AoE spells and crowd controls. They have all the [[Thaumaturge Actions|abilities]] and [[Thaumaturge Traits|traits]] of [[Thaumaturge]]s. They can also use all the cross-class abilities of [[arcanist]] and [[archer]]. The most important [[attributes|stat]] for the black mage is [[intelligence]], which increases [[Attack Magic Potency|attack magic potency]]. The level of your Black Mage is equivalent to that of your Thaumaturge.

If you are having trouble, start off with two Fire IVs, not three, and work your way up to three in a row. Even with high spell speed, I can just barely get off [[Blizzard IV]] before Enochian drops. ==General Information==
Allagan Tomestones are [[Level 50 Gear Guide|Endgame]] tokens used to exchange for various endgame gear in [[Mor Dhona]] (x22,y6) by talking to [[Rowena]]. There are currently 3 main types of Allagan Tomestones in game, [[Allagan Tomestone of Poetics|Poetics]], [[Allagan Tomestone of Lore|Lore]] and [[Allagan Tomestone of Scripture|Scripture]]. Players can obtain Allagan Tomestones by completing [[dungeons]], [[trials]], [[Duty Roulette]] and [[Beast Tribe Quests]]. Here is a [[#Tomestone Drop Rates|list of tomestone rates and locations]]. Players are limited to have 2000 of each Tomestone at once. Additionally certain types of Tomestones, currently Scripture, have weekly caps of 900 that reset on Every Tuesday.
