Strategy
The Manipulator
This fight requires heavy DPS pushing, as the fight has five phases and a hard enrage timer of 13 minutes and 10 seconds. Pushing DPS harder will get players through the various phases faster, leaving more time to deal with the boss before the enrage.

The fight consists of destroying the Manipulator's legs and attacking the boss in between phases. Players can destroy the legs in any order, but as soon as one leg is destroyed, the legs will no longer be targetable and any leg that has received damage up to that point will be healed.

Phase 1
*Hydrothermal Missile: High damage AoE cleave that targets the plyer with the highest enmity. This attack will continue throughout the fight at set intervals, so tanks should be sure to hold enmity at all times and healers should be ready to mitigate the damage.

*Discoid: One player will be targeted, and several orbs will spawn randomly from any of the intercardinals around the arena and slowly move into the arena towards the targeted player. Players need to intercept these, as they deal high damage to anyone they touch.

*Seed of the Sky: Four AoEs will spawn under random players and appear in sets of two. Players simply need to avoid these. These will drop randomly as well, so players need to be aware of their surroundings.

*Perpetual Ray: This attack targets a random player, deals high damage and drains MP from whoever is hit. From time to time, players will note the boss's legs emit a jet of steam. this indicates which leg is about to cast Perpetual Ray. Players can stun this attack to mitigate damage and prevent the attack from draining MP as well. This needs to be done within a few seconds of the leg emitting steam, otherwise the attack will fire with its full effect.

*Quarantine: The boss will send the off tank and one random DPS into a small, separate arena to fight against a Panzer Doll. The doll will attack and slowly leave stacks of Blunt Resistance Down debuffs on its target. After defeating it, the players are returned to the fight. if the off tank is dead, another random player will be sent instead.

After the leg is shattered, the boss will be briefly targetable, and will cast Mortal Revolution, a raid-wide attack that deals high damage. Mitigate and heal through.

After Mortal Revolution, the boss will no longer be targetable, and players must continue to destroy the boss's legs.

Phase 2
This phase is similar to the first phase, with mechanics being handled in a similar manner as the first phase, however Discoid has been taken out of the boss's rotation, in its place is a new attack:

*Carnage: One player will be targeted with 5 tethers that spawn randomly around the arena. Of the five tethers, only three of them will fire Diffused Laser, the other two will simply not fire. Players will need to intercept these tethers, so the player who is targeted should move into the hitbox of the leg that is being targeted so other players can take the tethers. If the targeted player is killed by the Diffused Laser, the boss gets a permanent stacking damage up Damage Up buff. Intercepting players killed by this attack do not grant the boss this buff.

*Diffused Laser: This attack will explode on the player in a small AoE. Be sure to avoid overlapping with other players.

The attacks will come out in a similar rotation to the first phase, the only aspect that players can find challenging is dealing with Carnage at the same time as Quarantine. Similarly to the previous phase, upon shattering the leg, the boss will be targetable, cast Mortal Revolution, and be un-targetable again.

Phase 3
This phase repeats mechanics from phase 2 again, this time removing Quarantine and summoning ads instead.

*Straf Doll: Summoned directly to the middle of the arena, this ad should be picked up by the off tank and pulled to the party to be burned down. This doll cleaves its target and gives it a stacking Slash Resist Down debuff. After 30 seconds, the doll will begin to cast Wirbelwind, draining all MP from the raid.

*Jagd Doll: Three Jagd Dolls will spawn around the arena to the east, west and south. These dolls have low HP and deal low damage. They constantly pulse an attack that gives stacking Luminous Aetheroplasm debuffs in a small area around them. If a player gets four stacks of the debuff, they will explode and wipe the raid. if the Jagd Dolls get too close to the Straf Doll, they will tether and use Reducible Complexity, exploding and dealing damage to the raid equal to their current HP. If they are killed without being tethered to the Straf Doll, they will respawn with full HP.

To deal with the ads, players will need to bring the Jagd Dolls to the Straf Doll when they are at 10% health or less in order to defeat them without dealing massive damage to the raid. Players will also need to keep an eye on the Straf Doll to make sure they are ready to cast MP-restoring abilities if the doll is able to cast Wirbelwind so as not to limit the damage and healing of the party. The doll will also stop using it’s cleave attack when the boss tethers a player with Carnage.

Players will need to shatter the leg quickly at this point, as the boss has the potential to enter an enrage in this phase, and a second wave of enemies will spawn, slowing down the fight. If players can shatter the leg quickly enough, the second wave of ads will also not spawn.

After the third leg is shattered, players can attack the boss once again. Be aware however, that the Mortal Revolution in this phase will hit a little harder.

Phase 4
All mechanics other than Quarantine will repeat here as well as a new ability:

*Judgment Nisi: Two players are debuffed, one with a red debuff, one with blue. The debuff lasts 6 seconds per stack and has 5 stacks. The debuff deals moderate damage and lasts 30 seconds total. The debuff passes by touch. Players must never get the red and blue debuff at the same time, as that would result in instant death.

This debuff is required for an upcoming mechanic called Royal Pentacle. The debuff needs to be passed back and forth between players to handle the mechanic as intended. There is another popular method to handle this debuff mechanic, which will be covered in the next phase.

Once again, attack the boss after shattering the final leg, preparing as well to mitigate and heal through the Mortal Revolution for this phase, which hits quite hard.

Phase 5
In this final phase, mechanics will once again repeat, however some attacks will have additional mechanics to them:

*Carnage Zero: Similar to Carnage, players will still be hit with lasers, however there is no tether, and the attacks will randomly target three players. The attack will still explode in an AoE, so players need to spread out and be ready to move.

*Fracture: An additional mechanic to Discoid, the final orb that spawns will be large and still move towards the targeted player. This orb needs to be mitigated by all players other than the main tank. This orb also debuffs anyone it touches with a Vulnerability Up debuff.

*Royal Pentacle: 6 crystals will spawn around the arena randomly, either red or blue. Players with the matching Nisi debuff will have to run through the correct color crystal to destroy it. Players without the debuff or the debuff of the wrong color will die upon exploding the crystals. The crystals will explode if not taken care of within 20 seconds. The crystals will spawn three times in this phase.

This mechanic has two popular ways to handle. The intended method, juggling the debuffs and taking care of the crystals as they spawn. Another method (dubbed the "sacrifice" method) is an easier way to handle this mechanic.

If players are using the "sacrifice" method, in phase three, simply move the players debuffed away from the party and let the debuffs fade. This also requires players to save the level 3 Limit Break for healers, meaning DPS need to push phases a little harder to make up for the lack of a DPS Limit Break. Players will also need to plan in advance what players will sacrifice themselves to destroy the crystals.

In the final phase, once crystals have started to spawn, it is recommended that players wait for at least one GCD (Global Cool Down) timer to refresh before destroying the crystals to make sure they have spawned in and are tangible. Three players will then use their Sprint ability to run through two crystals of any color. When the second round of crystals spawn, the main tank will use their invulnerability skill to mitigate Perpetual Ray, then three more players will run through two crystals. The remaining healer will then use their level 3 Limit Break skill to revive and heal the entire raid. Once the third set of crystals spawn, the fight enters a burn phase, with players pumping out as much DPS as possible to destroy the boss before the crystals explode.

During this, players will need to be avoiding AoEs and other mechanics, as well as taking care of a final spawn of Straf Dolls and Jagd Dolls. these mechanics have not changed and can be handled as before.

Whichever method the party decides on, the mechanics for the fight will repeat from Carnage Zero onwards, until the boss enrages. Players must defeat the boss before then, otherwise the party will wipe.
Bahamut Prime
This fight is all about reacting to mechanics that repeat in each phase and mitigating heavy-hitting attacks. This fight has a hard 14 minute enrage so players need to handle the fight as quickly as possible. The boss doesn't have very complex attacks so learning them well will be the key to success.

Before the fight begins players need to set a marker somewhere in the arena to denote where players with a specific marker will stack to split damage.

Once the boss is engaged, the edge around the arena becomes an instant-kill upon

Phase 1: 100%-76%
To begin the fight players should pull the boss to the south wall of the arena.
*Flare Breath: A large frontal cleave on the primary target. Be sure to turn the boss away from the party for this. This attack is usually paired with other attacks.

*Megaflare: 3-4 players are marked with ground AoEs. 3-4 other players will be hit with a splash damage AoE, and 2-4 players are marked for a beam that must be split by other marked players to mitigate the damage. Players with a marker should stack at the predetermined location. The boss will follow this with a Flare Breath.

*Flatten: A heavy damage tankbuster. Requires mitigation to survive. Followed by three casts of Flare Breath so immediate heals afterwards or invulnerability are needed.

*Earth Shaker: Two players are tethered to the boss and marked with brown tethers. After a short delay, the tethered players will have a line fired at them that hits anything between them. The players will also drop three puddles each. To handle this, players who are tethered should move to the left and right of the boss and slowly move around the arena to avoid cleaving the party and drop the puddles around the edge. These puddles will persist for a while, so players should avoid standing in them.

This phase will repeat until the boss reaches 76% HP. players should push this phase as hard as possible to give more time later to handle other phases. It is also recommended that players use a DPS Limit Break level 1 to push the phase and also have a tank Limit Break level 3 for a later phase.

At 76% the boss will cast Gigaflare, an unavoidable room-wide attack. Mitigate and heal through the damage.

Phase 2: 76%-52%
* Shadow of Meracydia: After the Gigaflare cast fades a Shadow of Meracydia spawns in the north of the arena. If it gets too close to the boss, they will link and begin buffing each other. If the boss was pulled to the south, the off tank can grab the add and keep it in the north to avoid this. The other Adds will also spawn away from the boss, minimizing the chances of them tethering together.

:Players should focus on the add, as if it's not killed quickly, it will fire a line of puddles at a player, severely restricting how freely players can move.

* Flare Star: At the same time the Shadow of Meracydia spawns, the boss will summon orbs to tether to players that move slowly at first, then will speed towards the player they are tethered to. If a player is hit by an orb, they will take damage and receive a stack of the debuff Suffocated Will. This debuff will deal more damage when applied based on how many stacks a player already has. Non-tank players should not receive more than 2 stacks, as the damage will be lethal after that. Communication is required between players to note who has orbs tethered to them and who needs someone to take their tether.

:The boss will follow up with a Flatten, but only followed by one cast of Flare Breath and then Megaflare. This time however, the Megaflare will spawn a pillar from one of its AoEs, which will explode and wipe the raid if not dealt with. A single player must stand in the AoE and soak the damage instead, preventing the wipe.

* Rage of Bahamut: Deals damage based on how many stacks of Suffocated Will a player has. Healers should be ready for raid-wide healing after this.
From here the phase repeats, an add will spawn in the southeast and west and the mechanics will keep repeating until the boss reaches 52% HP. At this time the boss will cast another Gigaflare and leave the arena.

Phase 3: Adds
* Divebomb: Players should move to the center of the room immediately after the boss leaves the arena. It will appear at the edge of the arena and mark a random player with a red circle above their head. This indicates the boss will charge from where it is to the other side of the arena, passing through where the marked player was standing. A Storm of Meracydia will spawn at the edge as well and mark a player with a green marker, indicating the same thing. Once these markers go out, players know the boss and the add will charge through the center of the arena in a straight line, creating safe zones. Once the green marker comes up players can move to those safe zones to avoid the attack. Be aware that the paths of the attacks are rather wide, so move sufficiently into safe zones. The boss will follow this up with a Megaflare, thus it is important to not stack in the chaos of dodging the divebomb. It's wise to have half the players dodge the divebomb to the right and the other half to the left (of looking at Bahamut from the middle) to give space for each player to spread.

*Adds will spawn after this, a Pain of Meracydia and a Blood of Meracydia. The off tank should pull the Pain to the west of the room, while the main tank grabs the Blood and the party quickly burns it down. The Blood of Meracydia will switch between a buff that mitigates physical damage and magic damage. Players should pay attention to which buff the boss has up and try to line bursts up with these buffs. The Pain of Meracydia has a strong cleave attack that needs to be pointed away from the party and uses Tail Swipe, attacking behind it. Avoid this by attacking from its side as much as possible and being careful with positionals.

*Gusts of Meracydia will also spawn. The tank that grabbed the Blood should grab these, as if they get too close to the Pain, they will be absorbed, and it will receive HP back and a damage up Damage Up buff.

:After the Pain and Blood are finished off, 2 Sins of Meracydia will spawn. These Adds hit hard and should be defeated quickly. Each tank should grab them and pull them into the center of the arena to be burned down by AoE attacks. At roughly 20 seconds after spawning, they will cast Evil Eye, an attack that deals damage equal to their remaining HP. Shortly after this another round of Divebombs from the boss and the Storm of Meracydia. These should be handled the same way as the previous attack.

*Storm of Meracydia will spawn in the center of the room and should be pulled to the south of the room. The tank that does this will also grab the Gusts that spawn later. The other tank will pick up the rest of the Adds as they spawn and pull them over to where the Storm is to burn everything down efficiently. When the Pain respawns, keep it pulled away from the group until the Gusts are defeated. After the Storm is defeated, it will drop a Neurolink 2.0Puddle, which when stepped in greatly reduces damage dealt.

*Teraflare: After enough time has past, Bahamut will appear on the northern side of the arena and slowly begin casting it's ultimate attack. To withstand it, players must be prepared to perform two actions. First, the Pain must be defeated before the cast finishes, as the Neurolink puddle debuffs with Flare Dampening, greatly mitigating the damage from this attack. Secondly, the tank should use a Limit Break 3 to further mitigate damage; a countdown will appear when 10 seconds remain, and the Limit Break should generally be used at 4 seconds remaining. Healers can also use shields.

After the party survives Teraflare, Bahamut will return to the arena and begin the final phase.

Phase 4: 52%-0%
The boss will use the attacks Flare Breath, Megaflare, Earthshaker, and Gigaflare in this phase, each with a slight change to their mechanics; see below for details. The boss also adds a new ability to its repertoire.
*Akh Morn: A multi-hit tank buster. This attack also tethers to a player, and if they are in range of the blast, will split the damage of the attack. The off tank should pick this tether up and stand near the main tank for this attack. The first hit of Akh Morn will deal heavy damage, with each hit after dealing about half as much as the first. Every time the boss uses this attack, it will add an additional Akh Morn hit.

*Megaflare: The attack mechanics will happen as normal, however this time up to 2 pillars will spawn, each needing a player to stand in them and soak the damage. Players will also be tethered randomly and hit by Tempest Wing, a twister that deals moderate damage. If anyone else is hit by this, they are knocked back, take damage and receive a heavy damage over time debuff. This attack can knock players into the edge of the arena, spelling instant death for anyone who touches it. The off and main tank should pick up these tethers and subsequently stand far enough to not hit each other with the twisters. This is so that the originally targeted players can stack for Megaflare if needed.

*Earthshaker: This attack behaves as normal, however the boss will also tether the two players targeted with Earthshaker with Tempest Wing, causing twisters to spawn on them. Targeted players should not move into other players while the twister is active and healers should be ready to heal them. The boss also follows up with a Flare Breath immediately after. These mechanics will repeat from here.

:After every two rounds of the above rotation, the boss will use Gigaflare, and immediately follow up with Akh Morn so be ready to move, mitigate and heal through this.

This repeats until the boss is either defeated or enrages. At its enrage, it casts a 15-second Gigaflare that will wipe the party.

Solo strategy
As of patch 6.0, the duty can be easily cleared solo by any well-geared level 90 character.

The boss fight consists of attacking the boss and the adds it spawns until they die. The only danger lies in the three phases in which the boss and its add charge through the arena; they must be carefully evaded or they will push the player out of the arena and to their death.
Intro Cutscene
Alisaie: 'Twas a long and arduous road, but at last we reach its end.
Alisaie: Farewell, Bahamut. I banish you back to the aether!
Alisaie: He is not yet whole! I did not think him capable...

Alphinaud: Ugh... Alisaie! ALISAIE!

Alisaie: I had thought it finally over...
Alisaie: We'll not survive another blast!
Alisaie: No... Is this how I honor my promise to Grandfather?

Lousioix: You must needs find your own reason to fight for this realm—your own meaning in this sea of chaos. Will you do that for me?

Alisaie: I will, Grandfather. In fact, I believe I already have.
Alisaie: That reason has been with me all along, guiding me—Eorzea's blade of Light, shearing through the endless shrouds of darkness...
Alisaie: I have been shown the miraculous feats of which we are all capable. Of which I am capable.
Alisaie: Bahamut! You have wreaked enough havoc!
Alisaie: I will not let your wrathful fires consume all that we know and love!
Alisaie: Ugh!

Alphinaud: How long I have waited to hear you say that! You have found your resolve at last!
Alphinaud: Let me join my strength to yours.
Alphinaud: In this place, in this moment, our purpose has become one!

Alphinaud and Alisaie: For the future of Eorzea!

Alisaie: This last task is yours, Warrior of Light! You must destroy Bahamut's crystal core!

Post-duty Cutscene
Alisaie: You did it!
Alisaie: But one task remains...
Alisaie: With this last coil disabled, there shall be naught left to bind Bahamut to this world. His beloved children will finally know peace...
Alisaie: 'Tis done. He is truly gone.
Alisaie: You knew, didn't you? You knew what Grandfather had become.

Alphinaud: I...was not certain. But from all I had gleaned, it seemed a distinct possibility.
Alphinaud: The scene people describe of the Battle of Cartenau was one of unimaginable devastation. And 'tis through the combined prayers of the desperate—and an abundant source of aether—that primals are born. I merely put two and two together.

Alisaie: And you consider that a sufficient explanation?
Alisaie: Well, however you stumbled across your theory, 'twas this revelation that made you wary of my attachment to Grandfather.
Alisaie: You feared that in my obsession, I would fall under his primal sway. Is that why you decided to join us? To pull me back should I show signs of wavering?

Alphinaud: Pray forgive me, Sister. I wished only to protect you. Yet I see now that I needn't have doubted the strength of your conviction.
Alphinaud: May I ask you a question? What do you now intend to do with the truth you have uncovered?

Alisaie: Which particular truth was that, Brother? The fact that desperate prayer gave rise to the primal Phoenix? That this new god was responsible for setting Eorzea on the path to rebirth?
Alisaie: Should such a tale become common knowledge, people would soon offer up their prayers in earnest—they would beseech Phoenix to complete the healing that was begun.

Alphinaud: Yet as you and I know all too well, the very act of calling forth this savior would do more harm to the land than good.
Alphinaud: We cannot encourage such worship for this very reason. Were Grandfather forced to return as an aether-draining primal, 'twould undo all that he had worked to protect.
Alphinaud: Your abiding love for him was the key that unlocked the truth of the Calamity.
Alphinaud: But keys may also serve to seal doors that were best left unopened.
Alphinaud: Let your love now guide your actions, and lock away deep inside the fate of both Grandfather and Bahamut.

Alisaie: Fear not, Alphinaud—I understand what must be done.
Alisaie: The realm need not know the truth for it to be saved.
Alisaie: That the elder primal is banished, to return to more...that is enough.
Alisaie: Let us make our way back to the surface. Poor Urianger must be beside himself with worry!

Followed by three flare breaths so immediate heals afterwards or invulnerability are needed.

Lord of Levin: Ramuh
Abilities
*Chaotic Strike: Will target two players: the furthest from the boss and a random player that is not top enmity, with an orange crosshair and then inflict Chaos on them after a short cast time. When the debuff expires after 6 seconds, it will turn into Seduced They will walk slowly toward Ramuh then be killed by the melee AoE (Area of Effect) Thunderspark by Ramuh if Chaos/Seduced is not broken by Thunderstorm. Player with the Thunderstorm needs to move to the feared players.
*Thunderspark: AoE centered on Ramuh. Standing at max melee range allows you to dodge it. Will kill Chaotic Strike targets.
*Thunderstorm: Random players and patches of ground will be marked with an AoE. Deals moderate damage and breaks Chaotic Strike. The water on the arena will also electrify and deal damage (Conductivity) to anyone standing it, so players should move to the circular region of higher ground near Ramuh. Ground Thunderstorms will leave behind Lightning Orbs.
*Lightning Orbs: The more orbs on the ground, the higher the damage of Ramuh's abilities. Touching an orb gives a stacking buff called Electroconductivity, with 3 stacks changing into a buff called Surge Protection for 55 seconds, lowering damage taken from Shock Strike and preventing/cancelling Rolling Thunder. Touching orbs when this buff is active will result in a stack of the Static Condensation debuff, reducing healing magic effectiveness. The orbs and Thunderstorm circles leave a stacking buff (Electroconductivity) on anyone hit. The water in the arena will also electrify after Thunderstorm, dealing more damage if stood in.
*Shock Strike: Untelegraphed AoE tankbuster on the highest enmity player. Will deal lethal damage unless the target has Surge Protection. Note that this will bypass tank invulnerabilities.
*Grey Arbiters: Six Grey Arbiter adds will appear around the arena. Players should immediately switch to them, halting DPS on the boss. They shoot lightning beams at random players, which are less obvious line AoEs that can be dodged by sidestepping. Must be killed before Judgment Bolt. They will also periodically use Increased Sentence on Ramuh, reducing the amount of time left until he casts Judgment Bolt.
*Judgment Bolt: Ramuh's Ultimate. Wipes the group if any Arbiters are alive. Deals moderate damage otherwise.
*Rolling Thunder: Tethers 2 players together, inflicting Causality and Thunderclap. Every action used inflicts damage to the player, with casts causing them to take continuous damage. If the tether is not removed, Thunderclap will continue to stack and deal increased damage-over-time. One of the tethered players must touch 3 Lightning Orbs to get the Surge Protection buff and cancel the tether, allowing both players to continue.

Phases
Phase 1: 100% - 64%

Thunderstorm and Chaos Strike

At 64%, adds spawn. Ramuh will need to be rotated to face away from the group as adds are killed. Thunderstorm and Chaos Strike persist.

Phase 2: 64% - 0%

Introduces tether mechanic. Thunderstorm frequency increases. At 29%, untargetable adds spawn that just deal a little extra damage.

At around 11 minutes into the fight, Ramuh will cast Judgment Bolt again as an enrage, which will wipe the party.

Strategy
This fight is one of the most difficult extreme trials in A Realm Reborn due to the high degree of coordination required, especially between the two tanks.

Before pulling, it is recommended to place a waymark south of center on the arena (not in the water). This will indicate where players targeted by Chaotic Strike (orange crosshairs) will go to.

<u>Tank Responsibilities:</u>

Determine beforehand who will main tank and who will off tank to start the battle. Upon engaging the boss, it will use Thunderstorm, requiring the party to avoid overlapping their AoEs to prevent excessive damage, while staying out of the electrified water. This will also spawn several Lightning Orbs across the arena. The off tank will immediately pick up three orbs to get Surge Protection and then provoke the boss to tank swap. Ramuh will use Shock Strike, an untelegraphed AoE tankbuster, that will instantly kill anyone unless if they have Surge Protection. The highest enmity target must have this buff and be spread out from others. When the debuff is about to expire, the other tank should collect 3 orbs and provoke the boss. Tanks will swap like this for the duration of the fight. Because Thunderstorm is used frequently, the current off tank should collect 3 orbs and tank swap whenever new orbs spawn. This will ensure one tank has Surge Protection up at all times while managing the number of orbs on the arena, because these also increase Ramuh's damage. Note that collecting orbs with Surge Protection active will instead grant one stack of a debuff called Static Condensation, reducing healing received and dealing damage over time, although this will still protect from Shock Strike.

<u>Chaotic Strike:</u>

The rest of the party will handle Chaotic Strike, which will target 2 random party members who are not top enmity. Players who are marked with an orange crosshair should go to the waymark, which will allow others to easily identify them and free them from Chaos by hitting them with a player-targeted Thunderstorm AoE. Players who are not freed in time will become Seduced and walk towards Ramuh, who will instantly kill them with Thunderspark. Players should be careful not to overlap two or more AoEs on the trapped players, as the excess damage could be lethal. It is possible for the current off tank to be targeted with Chaotic Strike, so it is critical to free them immediately.

<u>Add Phase:</u>

Six Grey Arbiters will spawn on the edge of the arena. This will need to be killed in time, or the party will wipe to Judgment Bolt. The party should start with the south add and kill them in a clockwise order, while dodging the line AoEs they use. The main tank should take note of the party's position and move to avoid hitting anyone with Shock Strike. During this phase, Ramuh will still use Thunderstorm and Chaotic Strike, which should be handled as before. Thunderstorm will be used fairly frequently and will deal more damage the more orbs there are, so it may be beneficial for a non-tank to clear some (but not too many) orbs to reduce damage from Thunderstorm.

<u>Rolling Thunder:</u>

Two players will be tethered and be inflicted with Causality and Thunderclap, dealing damage upon using actions, and stacking damage-over-time, respectively. One player must collect 3 orbs and gain Surge Protection to break the tether and remove the debuffs. They should be careful not to collect too many orbs so enough will still remain for the tanks.

The mechanics from the first phase will cycle from this point onwards, with an increased Thunderstorm frequency, making orb management trickier.

Solo strategy (level 70+)
With a high player level (70+) and high-end gear (item level 400+), The Striking Tree (Extreme) can be finished solo or with a small party. To do so, enter the trial unsynced by selecting "Unrestricted Party" in the Duty Finder options.

With sufficient defenses, healing and damage, the fight's mechanics can be largely ignored, and all damage focused on Ramuh. It is still advised to kill the Grey Arbiter adds as they spawn.

The BLU Blue Mage spell Shock Strike can be learned here. However, the story-mode version of the fight is a much easier duty to learn it from.
