Eureka Anemos FATEs
Powerful enemies, known as Notorious Monsters (NMs), will spawn upon defeating enough of certain enemies. These function similarly to boss FATEs. Upon spawning, each NM has a cooldown of 2 hours (real life time) before it can be spawned again. Players can track NMs in a given instance using the Eureka Tracker website and by sharing a given tracker link to other players in the instance.

In the following table, the listed rewards assume that the player has achieved the maximum (gold) ranking and has an elemental level that is at least one below the NM level. Otherwise, they will receive reduced rewards.

Players will usually specify a pull time (PT) to ensure that people in the instance can participate in the NM and receive rewards. This may either be in Eorzea Time or when there is a certain number of minutes remaining in the FATE timer, e.g., "PT 27" is commonly used, meaning begin fighting the boss when there is 27:00 left.
Cliffs
Several locations can only be accessed by dropping down cliffs.

*Tips:
**When dropping down, make sure not to be in combat, including having no enemies chasing you (i.e. no enemies in the enmity list), or the fall damage will be lethal. It will normally leave you at 1 HP when out of combat.
**The eastern cliffs contain sleeping dragons immediately after dropping off. Make sure to be walking, not running, when dropping off, or the dragons will immediately wake and kill you in one hit after the fall damage.
**As the cliffs are relatively narrow, be careful during the drop off or you will miss it entirely. Slowly walk off the edge and do not jump off.

The following images show the locations of the drop-offs.
*Solid arrows denote drop-offs
*Dashed arrows denote passages not visible on the map needed to reach the areas of interest after dropping off the cliff.
Eureka Pagos FATEs
In addition to notorious monster battles, Eureka Pagos introduces a new type of FATE: elemental conflicts, where players defeat a few waves of enemies while protecting the resident Happy Bunnies. For more information, see Happy Bunnies below.

Among notorious monster battles, Morte Arthro (King Arthro, i.e. "Crab") and Cassie and the Copycats (Copycat Cassie, or "Cassie" for short) are of particular interest, because they have a very low chance of dropping two accessories: the Blitzring and Cassie Earring, respectively, that provide a Haste bonus (faster global cooldown) within Eureka zones. These items can be sold for a premium on the Market Board. Because of their high value, players often may not wait for others to arrive before pulling them once they spawn. To maximize's one's chances of earning rewards, be near the FATE spawn area a few minutes before its cooldown resets and if the correct weather will occur. It is recommended to use a tracker if available for the instance, although some Eureka-oriented Discord servers have notifications for these and other high-value FATEs (these only notify an upcoming weather window; the cooldown is instance-specific).

The Wobbler in Darkness is also notable. The maximum rank one can achieve on the FATE is silver, preventing one from qualifying for the Optical Hat, unless if one uses a Hakutaku Eye Cluster on the boss, which is required to achieve a gold ranking. This item is crafted from materials that can be only obtained as rare drops from golden Happy Bunny treasure coffers, Cold-warped Lockboxes, or the Market Board, making it difficult or expensive to obtain. The hat is mostly a vanity glamour item: while it provides a Haste bonus in Eureka zones, it is outclassed by the Elemental Bonus provided by Elemental Armor +2.

Happy Bunnies
Completing an elemental conflict FATE with a sufficient rating will cause a Happy Bunny to begin following you. They will give hints as to the location of buried treasures coffers each time you use a Lucky Carrot. This can be used as a key item or by clicking the carrot icon near the duty information UI. While you can use this item indefinitely, the item will only be in your inventory when they have the debuff Down the Rabbit Hole buff, which lasts 15 minutes and is given from clearing the FATE.

Using a carrot will give you a system message which will indicate the relative distance and direction of the treasure from their current location: "You sense something (distance) to the (direction)". The distance will either be "far, far", "far", none, or "immediately". The direction is always based on the true north direction in the map, not relative to where your character is currently facing.

When you are close to hidden treasure, use a lucky carrot to uncover it. The chest will randomly be a bronze, silver, or gold coffer, each with a different drop table.

A happy bunny will stop accompanying you under these conditions:
*The hidden treasure has been found
*The Down the Rabbit Hole buff expires
*The player is KO'd
*The happy bunny is KO'd (avoid engaging enemies or participating in notorious monster battles if possible, or the bunny may be injured by AoEs)
*The player leaves Eureka Pagos
*The player logs out

In Eureka Pagos, the southern FATE Down the Rabbit Hole has treasure locations in the southern, lower-leveled region of the zone. The northern FATE Curiouser and Curiouser has treasure locations in the northern, higher-leveled region of the zone. Most players will ignore the northern FATE due to the treasure locations being surrounded by high level enemies that will aggro to even elemental level capped players, making the treasure hunt a nuisance.

If you have the Down the Rabbit Hole buff but do not plan on seeking the treasure, remove the buff by right-clicking the icon. Otherwise, it will prevent the elemental conflict FATEs from respawning until it expires.
Trivia
*"Pagos" is ancient Greek and can mean a mountain peak or a coating of ice, both of which are appropriate for this area.
*This zone was poorly received by players when released due to its punishing design, slow progression, and unintuitive layout. However, it has received several "nerfs" to streamline progession, although it is still generally considered the most time-consuming of the four Eureka zones to progress.
Enemies
In Pyros and the next zone, The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos, regular enemies receive a passive enhancement based on their element. These enhancements apply regardless of the elemental level difference between the player and enemy.
*Wind Wind: Higher evasion, causing your attacks to miss more often. Arguably the most annoying since it breaks combos. Can be countered with Feint L.
*Fire Fire: Higher damage.
*Ice Ice: Higher HP.
*Lightning Lightning: debuff Paralysis immune.
*Water Water: debuff Stun immune.

FATE enemies may not necessarily have these enhancements. For example, the Karlabos of Pyros in We're All Mad Here is vulnerable to Stun despite being water elemental.

The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros

Eureka Pyros FATEs
Similar to Eureka Pagos, Pyros contains two elemental conflict (i.e., Happy Bunny) FATEs in addition to notorious monster (NM) battles.

Among notorious monster battles, Thirty Whacks, Haunter of the Dark, and Heavens' Warg are of particular interest, because they have a very low chance of dropping three items: Lamebrix's Dice, Ying-Yang's Tissue, and Skoll's Claw, respectively, that together can be exchanged at the Expedition Engineer to unlock a sixth magicite in the Magia Board. These items can be sold for a premium on the Market Board. Because of their high value, some players may not wait for others to arrive before pulling them once they spawn. To maximize's one's chances of earning rewards, be near the FATE spawn area a few minutes before its cooldown resets. Heavens' Warg (Skoll) also has a weather requirement. It is recommended to use a tracker if available for the instance. Some Eureka-oriented Discord servers have weather window notifications for Heavens' Warg (the cooldown is instance-specific).

The enemies required to spawn Skoll (Pyros Shuck) are a ways away from the actual FATE area. As a precaution in case the NM is early pulled before players who assisted with the prep arrive, some players will opt to prep the NM well in advance of the weather transitioning to Blizzards.

Happy Bunnies
Pyros is also home to many a happy bunny. As a reward for saving them from imminent peril, happy bunnies will help you find hidden treasure on the island.

In Eureka Pyros, the southern FATE We're All Mad Here has treasure locations in the southern, lower-leveled region of the zone. The northern FATE Uncommon Nonsense has treasure locations in the northern, higher-leveled region of the zone. Most players will ignore the northern FATE due to the treasure locations being surrounded by high level enemies that will aggro to even elemental level capped players, making the treasure hunt a nuisance.
Logos Actions
Logograms
Logos actions are a new type of duty action available in Eureka Pyros, allowing players to dramatically increase their job's power or alter their playstyle. Logos actions are unlocked by collecting logograms, appraising them from Drake to obtain mnemes, and combining them at a Logos Manipulator.

Eurekan Weapons
Eurekan Weapons
After fully augmenting a Eureka weapon in Pagos and proceeding to a certain point in the Pyros story, you will be able to augment your Eureka weapon further by speaking to Gerolt in Pyros 15.3, 23.5.

Research into logos actions is required to augment Eureka weapons: 30 actions must be unlocked to finish weapon upgrades.
A small island southeast of the Eastern Columns landmark that is home to elemental level 65 sprites. The type of sprites that spawn depends on the current weather. ==Eureka Hydatos FATEs==
Unlike Eureka Pagos and Eureka Pyros, Hydatos only contains one elemental conflict (i.e., Happy Bunny) FATE: Drink Me.

Among notorious monster battles, Bullheaded Berserker, Duty-free, and Stone-cold Killer are of particular interest, because they have a very low chance of dropping three items: Molech's Horn, Goldemar's Horn, and Ceto's Claw, respectively, that together can be exchanged at the Expedition Engineer to unlock a seventh magicite in the Magia Board. These items can be sold for a premium on the Market Board. Because of their high value, some players may not wait for others to arrive before pulling them once they spawn. To maximize's one's chances of earning rewards, be near the FATE spawn area before its cooldown resets. It is recommended to use a tracker if available for the instance.

To upgrade Base Eureka Weapons, players will need to participate in the Crystalline Provenance (Provenance Watcher) encounter, as the items it drops (Crystalline Scale) cannot be purchased at an Expedition Birdwatcher, unlike previous notorious monster materials in the other zones.

There are two "special" notorious monsters in Hydatos. These have different spawn conditions that do not require defeating certain enemies in the overworld.
*I Don't Want to Believe (Ovni) randomly spawns on its own. This is signified by both the weather changing to umbral turbulence Umbral Turbulence and a notification popping up. This event occurs approximately every 30 minutes. Defeating Ovni will cause portals (Aetherial Nodes) to appear, allowing players who earned a gold ranking in the FATE to enter The Baldesion Arsenal.
*The Baldesion Arsenal: Expedition Support (Tristitia) only spawns upon sufficiently progressing the instance's Baldesion Arsenal. Completing this FATE allows up to 8 more players to enter the ongoing raid, in addition to weakening the third boss, Absolute Virtue, to allow the raid to progress.

By trading Aethertight Flasks (obtained from silver Happy Bunny coffers in Hydatos) with the Expedition Alchemist, players can expand their maximum number of logos action plates from three to six.
The Baldesion Arsenal
The Baldesion Arsenal
The Baldesion Arsenal is an optional, high-difficulty raid that can be challenged by up to 56 players at once. For more information, see the above link. The raid is not a separate instance: it exists within Eureka Hydatos.

To unlock the raid, players will need to be elemental level 60 and have completed the level 60 story quest in Hydatos. Afterwards, talk to the Expedition Scholar at camp and accept the prompt. In North American and European data centers, most Baldesion Arsenal runs are organized through various Discord servers.

To enter the raid, players must complete the notorious monster FATE I Don't Want to Believe (Ovni) with a gold ranking to receive the debuff Aetherially Primed buff. This allows them to enter Aetherial Nodes, which are 48 portals that will appear throughout the map a few minutes after Ovni is defeated. Portals will initially be unstable (blue), but will transform to stable (red) after a few minutes. Players with Aetherically Primed may enter either portal, but blue portals also require an Aetheric Stabilizer.

Upon sufficient progression of the instance's Baldesion Arsenal, the notorious monster FATE The Baldesion Arsenal: Expedition Support will spawn. Completing it is required for progression within the raid, along with spawning 8 more Aetheric Nodes, allowing 8 more players to enter the ongoing raid.

Rewards include:
*Eureka Fragments: required for Physeos Weapons and Elemental Armor +2
*Cryptic Seals and Damascene Cloth: required for Kirin's Osode Armor
*Obscure Logograms (these also drop from regular enemies and certain notorious monsters in Hydatos)
Eureka Hydatos FATEs

Hydatos is also home to many a happy bunny. As a reward for saving them from imminent peril, happy bunnies will help you find hidden treasure on the island.

*Demi-Ozma mount (via the achievement We're on Your Side I)
*Turmoil Orchestrion Roll
*Obscure Logograms (these also drop from regular enemies and certain notorious monsters in Hydatos)
*A "true ending" for the Eureka storyline depending on the initial ending the player chose, along with the achievement Really Making the Most of Hydatos
Quests
Pyros Elementals
*earth Earth: debuff Heavy immune.

It is the second of four areas in The Forbidden Land, Eureka, and is a snowy, mountainous region. The layout and enemies in this zone are much more treacherous than in Eureka Anemos, requiring players to reach some points of interest by traversing narrow passages and occasionally by dropping off cliffs. In addition, lower-level players must avoid waking sleeping Frozen Void Dragons that block several areas, or they will be quickly killed.
