Geryon the Steer
First boss of all paths.
* Colossal Strike: Tankbuster.
* Exploding Catapult: Light damage to the entire party and summons several explosive barrels with either a red "burst" design on its top, or a blue "ring" design. The red-topped barrels explode in a large circle around them, while the blue-topped ones explode in a large ring around them.
* Colossal Slam: Cone attack in the direction of a random player.
* Subterranean Shudder: Has various effects depending on which path the party has taken and what decision was made before encountering Geryon.
** Left Path: There will be four drains on both the east and west sides of the arena. The choice of whether or not to clear the pipes affects the attack.
*** Cleared Drain: One of the drains will light up cyan, causing water to spill out and knock back players from its location.
*** Clogged Drain: Two to four of the drains will light up red, causing mud to spill out and form damaging puddles on the ground for a short duration.
** Center Path: The direction the Bulkhead Handle is turned determines the effect of the attack.
*** Turn Left: To the east and west of the arena are vents with fans. One set will begin to spin, indicating that players will be dragged across the arena toward that side.
*** Turn Right: To the east and west of the arena are platforms. Boulders will be carried onto them, then roll across the arena in a straight line during the next Exploding Catapult cast, dealing massive damage to players they crush.
** Right Path: Mechanic is based on what fluid bursts from the pipe prior to the boss and is completely random.
*** Water: Two opposite quadrants of the arena churn, followed by the other two. The quadrants explode for damage in the order they began churning.
*** Ceruleum: Two adjacent quadrants of the arena explode, dealing damage and creating a puddle on them that deals damage over time.
* Colossal Launch: Geryon slams the ground, dealing light damage to the party and causing all explosive barrels to flip over, turning red to blue and vice versa.
* Colossal Swing: Geryon jumps to the center of the arena and swings in a 180 degree arc in a random cardinal direction.
* Colossal Charge: Geryon jumps to the north or south of the arena and creates an energy shield that he angles to the east or west. He then charges across the arena in a line, knocking back players and barrels in his path to the indicated direction. A barrel pushed by this attack will have its explosion radius overlap with the safe area of any blue barrels on that side.
* Gigantomill: Geryon moves to the center of the arena and launches multiple cross AoEs while rotating clockwise or counterclockwise.
*Squeaky Right/Left: The boss will attack the arena twice in a conal AoE in front of it, followed by an attack that hits two thirds of the arena based on the side of the arena indicated by the attack, with a safe zone in the opposite third of the arena.
*Chilling Suds: The boss coats its tail in ice and fires four line AoEs in a cross pattern after casting Soap's Up.
*Bracing Suds: The boss coats its tail in wind and fires an arena wide AoE with a safe zone within its hitbox after casting Soap's Up.
*Spot Remover: The boss summons several water puddles around the arena that inflict a heavy Dropsy debuff if the player enters them.
*Carpet Beater: A high damage tankbuster that hits the player with the highest enmity.

----
*Eastern Ewers: Several large Ewers appear on the edge of the arena and fire water cannons while slowly moving from one edge of the arena to the other, dealing high damage if they come in contact with a player.
*Silken Puff/Sweep: Several non-damaging puddles appear on the arena, with Puffs appearing on the edge of the arena. When the Puffs reach the puddles, they are delayed, creating an opening for players to move to a safe area out of the line of the Puffs.
If the door puzzle was not solved correctly and the flowers were left alone:
*Fresh Puff/Puff and Tumble: The boss summons a line of Puffs on the edge of the arena, which move to the other side, firing several AoEs as they go. Players must time their movements to move between the AoEs firing to avoid damage.
*Wrath of Ruin: Several orbs are summoned to each edge of the arena, firing line AoEs in sets of two, creating several small safe zones across the arena.
*Sundered Remains: An AoE is dropped in the center of the arena, followed by several AoEs in a clockwise pattern, filling the arena. After a short delay, the AoEs will detonate in the order they appeared in, starting with the center.
*Slashburn: The boss fires a large red fire line AoE and two massive blue fire cone AoEs, each in a different direction. There is a variant of this attack that tethers the swords together, and switches the location of the AoEs, requiring players to move to the correct safe zone in anticipation of the swap. This can be dodged easily by standing on the midline of the red portion of the attack, as you will then be standing between the blue AOEs once the positions swap.
*Signal Flare: The boss drops three sets of lines of large AoEs across the arena that will detonate after the arena is filled in the order they appeared.
*Blaze of Glory: Two large fire orbs are summoned to the arena that fire large line AoEs in a cross pattern. This is paired with either Spring to Life or Slashburn.
*Cogwheel: Unavoidable roomwide AoE that deals high damage.

Loot
The Sil'dihn Subterrane uses personal loot, so players have to be sure to click and loot each chest themselves. At the start of the dungeon, if the party chooses the same door that the NPC suggests, an additional treasure coffer will spawn on the path.

Before you start the encounter you will need to assign 2 players (usually the healers) to do the cannons, just like in Hard. You should also assign another player (usually a ranged) to do the shield. The shield is only used during Phase 1 and is used at the same time as it is during Hard.

When you are on Bismarck, you gain a stacking debuff that increases the amount of damage done to you while aboard Bismarck. You should not go over 3 stacks. Unlike on Hard, you must leave Bismarck when he shudders or you'll be thrown off away from the island.

Phase 1
This phase is the same as Hard version. Bismarck will start by hitting the island and spawning 2 enemies, a melee and a ranged. DPS down both enemies, they should be killed before you're able to board Bismarck.

When the Dragonkillers are ready to be fired, use them and board Bismarck. In order to meet the DPS requirement, you should be killing the carapace the first time.

* Kill adds
* Use cooldowns on Carapace

Phase 2
This is the major DPS check part of the fight. The two dragons So'Suwa and Ul'Sanuwa will spawn. They must be tanked away from each other.

Tornadoes and AoE will also spawn, avoid these.

Both enemies will do an ability called Dead Wind and Dead Water that is raid-wide AoE and applies 1 of 2 debuffs to each player. The debuff will apply to 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 dps. Look at the colour of your debuff and attack the enemy with the opposite colour. As with Hard version, you do NOT need to kill these at the same time, instead you are given a strict amount of time to kill them. You should use LB1 to help you down them.

The debuff on the tanks may also change, so they need to get ready to provoke and swap places with the other tank if needed. The enemies should not move in order to maximize DPS.

* Blue buff = Will of the Water, attack green enemy.
* Green buff = Will of the Wind, attack blue enemy.
* Dodge tornadoes and AoE.
* Use LB1 when you have it.
* Tanks need to swap places if their debuff changes.
* They will do 3 Dead Wind/Water until Bismarck does his Ultimate.

Phase 3
This phase will repeat until either Bismarck is down or the Island is destroyed. There is no shield in this phase.

Three enemies will spawn, two small adds from Phase 1 and a bigger add called Nat'maii Vundu. There are 2 tactics to doing this phase.

Tactic 1
* Kill the range add first
* Kill the melee add second (small add)
* Do as much damage on Nat'maii as possible until you can board Bismarck.

Tactic 2
* Kill Nat'maii first
* Kill range add second
* Damage melee add as much as possible until you can board Bismarck.

My group personally preferred Tactic 2, but either is fine. The tank and a healer should stay on the Island to dps down the remaining enemy while everyone else is damaging Bismarck.

* If Nat'maii is still alive after boarding Bismarck, he will run to the center and do an AoE every 10 seconds that damages the island, it is important to kill him before he can do this too much.

Weather Mechanic
Just like in Hard, there is a weather mechanic during Phase 3.

*Wind: Clouds will be a dark yellow and it will be raining. There will be an AoE knockback from the center of the island. All players should run to the center or they will be knocked off, then run back to the center for an AoE covering the island except the center.
*Water: Clouds almost clear. Stay away from the center as there will be splash damage that causes Vuln Up, you should also kill the Vapor Bubbles during this time.
*Thunder: Clouds will be purple. 3 random players will receive 2 thunder attacks, the first deals average damage, the second attack will deal massive damage that the Vapor Bubbles will consume. Do NOT kill the Vapor Bubbles during this time.

* Before boarding Bismarck again, make sure your stacking debuff has run out, otherwise you will die from too much damage.

Repeat this phase several times, and use LB3 on the target when available and you'll have Bismarck down in no time.

Loot
*Thunder: Clouds will be purple. 3 random players will receive 2 thunder attacks, the first deals average damage, the second attack will deal massive damage that the Vapor Bubbles will consume. Do NOT kill the Vapor Bubbles during this time.

* Before boarding Bismarck again, make sure your stacking debuff has run out, otherwise you will die from too much damage.
Zoraal Ja himself led the Landsguard in an effort to quell the beast's boundless fury, yet while the First Promise returned in triumph, few know what became of the village and its people. In your search for clues as to the identity of Gulool Ja's mother, you learn that Zoraal Ja visited the region many times over the years, and that it may be home to a secret research facility. === Lindblum Zaghnal===
*Electrical Overload: Party-wide magical damage.
*Gore: The boss will push on a large crystal, channeling electricity through it.
*Caber Toss: During the long cast time, three sets of line AoE telegraphs will originate from the crystal. At the end of the castbar, the boss will launch the crystal to a new location in the room (denoted by the yellow arrow), indicating the epicenter of a massive late telegraphed circle AoE.
*At its new location, the crystal will emit several more small and large line AoE telegraphs.
*Lightning Storm: Spread marker AoE on each player, dealing magical damage. Resolves after the last line AoEs.
*The boss will use Gore again, this time channeling electricity into the ground. It will emit several hits of magical party-wide damage (Sparking Fissure) during this next mechanic sequence.
*Electrope emerges from the ground... Multiple Raw Electrope adds will sequentially appear, and an overhead progress bar on each will begin filling. These adds should be killed before they are allowed to finish casting Electrify, which will increase the boss's next attack's damage. Prioritize adds with higher progress on the bar.
*Multiple circle AoE telegraphs will spawn on semi-random locations while the Raw Electrope adds spawn.
*Sparking Fissure: A long cast from the boss that will cause party-wide magical damage.
*Mechanics then repeat until the boss is defeated.

Overseer Kanilokka
*Free Spirits: Party-wide magical damage. Also spawns a dangerous AoE at the edge of the arena. Standing in this will inflict a heavy heavy, a 6-second bleed bleeding and 30-second damage down Damage Down.
*Numerous orange-brown curved line AoE telegraphs will appear and resolve sequentially, which should be dodged.
*Phantom Flood: A telegraphed donut AoE that will spawn a persistent AoE, compressing the arena into a small circle.
*Dark II: Spawns six conal AoE telegraphs, leaving alternating gaps in between, followed by another set of telegraphs in the first safe zones.
*Three players will receive a spread AoE marker (Telltale Tears) dealing magical damage. They will need to spread inside the small circle region.
*Lost Hope: Gives each player a 17-second Temporary Misdirection, causing them to move in the current direction of the spinning hand when using a movement key. Note that the arrow spins slower than its incarnations in other duties.
*The boss will become untargetable and use Necrohazard, spawning a magical proximity AoE telegraph in the middle. In addition, three curving paths will appear in the arena edge AoE and lead to the wall. Each player must carefully move to the wall to mitigate the proximity damage. The proximity AoE has a very large falloff, so players must be directly at the wall or they take massive damage. The bleed bleeding from touching the dark red persistent AoE will increase the chance of the proximity damage being lethal unless there is quick healing.
*Bloodburst: Party-wide magical damage.
*Afterwards, the arena edge AoE will disappear temporarily, but the outer part will respawn when the boss casts Free Spirits again.
*The curving orange-brown line AoE telegraphs will appear again but will also be coupled with the Telltale Tears spread AoEs.
*Dark II will be used again and combined with a stack marker AoE (Soul Douse) on a random player, dealing magical damage.
*Dark Souls: Telegraphed magical tankbuster.
*The mechanics will then repeat until the boss is defeated.

Tural Vidraal: Lunipyati
*Raging Claw: The boss will face a random player and use a late telegraphed, multi-hit 180 degree cleave AoE. Move behind.
*Leporine Loaf: Party-wide magical damage and spawns a dangerous AoE at the edge of the arena, compressing it into a circle.
*The boss will remain stationary and not auto-attack while both of the following mechanic sets resolve, in a random order.

Curved orange lines
*Four orange curves will spawn from the middle, followed by four more orange curves on the previously empty areas. These denote fast-moving, late telegraphed circle AoEs (Leaping Earth) that will spiral outward following each curve.
*This attack is used again but with a different pattern of orange curves.
*Finally, a long orange spiral will originate from the boss, indicating circle AoEs that will spiral outwards. Start at the wall and dodge into the middle layer of AoEs.

Arrows
*Three red curving arrows will appear, indicating the trajectory of sandworms that spawn. Circle AoE telegraphs (Boulder Dance) will spawn at the origin of each arrow. The head of the arrow will be the location of a late telegraphed circle AoE, so dodge into a region that does not any contain arrows. These AoEs will persist for a few seconds.
*The arrow telegraphs will appear again in a different pattern, leaving the four cardinals or intercardinals at the wall safe. In addition, each player will receive a spread AoE marker (Jagged Edge) dealing magical damage. These resolve shortly after the sandworm AoEs dissipate.

After one mechanic set is finished, the other set will resolve.

*Crater Carve: The boss will destroy the middle of the arena (with a late AoE telegraph), leaving behind a ring-shaped region. Falling into the hole will result in death.
**Players should be careful with gap closer actions during the remainder of the battle. Using them to attempt to traverse the hole, or when the boss jumps to a different part of the room, will cause the player to fall to their death.
*The boss will gain the Directional Disregard debuff, making its hitbox omnidirectional.
*Beastly Roar: Spawns a proximity AoE telegraph dealing magical damage at the boss's feet. Players must move to the opposite side of the arena to mitigate. When it resolves, it will additionally spawn a fast-moving set of circle AoEs that will travel clockwise or counterclockwise along the ring, so players must dodge in the opposite direction. Anyone hit by these will be temporarily stunned and knocked up. Using Sprint is recommended. The AoEs will complete slightly less than one full rotation.
**For uptime, tanks may opt to remain in melee range and use an invulnerability cooldown, although it may not be possible to dodge the rotating AoEs that temporarily stun.
*The boss will jump to a new location and use Raging Claw, so get behind it. Can use its hitbox flank arrows to guide. Each player will also receive a Jagged Edge spread marker, followed by one player receiving a stack marker (Turali Stone IV).
*Sonic Howl: Party-wide magical damage
*Slabber: Telegraphed magical tankbuster.
*Mechanics for the ring arena phase then repeat until the boss is defeated.
Research Note 1
Research Note 2
Research Note 3
Research Note 4
Mark V Anti-Eikon Warmachina: The Emerald Weapon
Phase 1
Your showdown with the iconic Emerald Weapon - another popular boss from Final Fantasy VII - takes place within a circular arena, surrounded by a fatal drop. Any player who walks (or is pushed over) the edge will suffer an immediate KO but can be revived after a moderate delay.

*Emerald Shot - causes Emerald Weapon to blast its primary target with a mild tank-buster.

*Emerald Beam - the Emerald weapon projects two cone-shaped AoE's from its front and rear that will eventually begin to rotate in the direction shown via a marker around its hitbox. Additionally, a point-blank AoE will also be dropped by the Emerald weapon just before the beams begin to rotate. Said point-blank AoE will shortly be followed by outward-traveling rings of AoE's, forcing the raid to not only move in a circle to avoid the rotating beams, but also step between the outward travelling set of AoE's as well.

Once Emerald Beam has concluded, the outer edge of the arena will collapse, shrinking the playing field.

*Magitek Magnetism - creates explosive mines within the arena that are telegraphed with large circular AoE's, indicating the radius that will be affected by their upcoming explosions. Before exploding, however, two of the mines will be tethered together with the magnet-mechanic (i.e, plus & minus symbols, where similar symbols will move away from each other and different symbols will move toward each other), indicating that the tethered mines will eventually be pushed apart or pulled together beforehand. As a rule of thumb, players should identify which of the mines are unaffected by magnets and/or identify the direction in which tethered mines will be pushed or pull, using this information to identify which area will be safe to stand in before they explode.

*Optimized Ultima - unleashes unavoidable raid-wide damage, similar to the Ruby Weapon encounter in Cinder Drift.

*Split - the Emerald Weapon will split in half, leaving behind its upper body, whilst the lower half disappears from the arena.

*Sidescathe - after a brief delay, one half of the arena will be blasted by a wave of laser beams from one Emerald Weapon's wings, indicated by said half of the arena being marked with an obvious telegraph. Simply run to the unmarked side of the arena to avoid the blast.

*Drop-Down - creates a large knock-back telegraph (blue circle) within the arena. After a delay, the lower half of Emerald Weapon will slam into the marked area, knocking all players back from the circle. Like most knock-back circle mechanics, players should position themselves close to the edge of the circle beforehand and position themselves so that they are not punted out of the arena. As always, pushback immunity cooldowns can also be utilized if desired. Once the knock-back has concluded, the Emerald Weapon will reform into its original shape.

From here, mechanics will essentially begin to repeat with some new additions and complications. For starters, the next Emerald Beam will cause an outer portion of the arena to fall away, shrinking the battlefield (much like the Titan's Geocrush in The Navel).

*Emerald Hands - summons flying mechanical hands that will float within the arena, followed shortly by a donut-AoE telegraph. Whenever you see the mechanical hands enter the fray, prepare to run into Emerald Weapon's hitbox to avoid their upcoming assault.

*Divide Et Impera - a vicious tank-buster against Emerald Weapon's primary target, indicated by a red-circular marker around said target.

*Pulse Laser - causes the Emerald Weapon to aim three straight-line AoE's at random targets numerous times.

*Sidescathe + Emerald Hands - players will notice a wave of mechanical hands forming a semi-circle outside the arena. Eventually, each hand will release a slow-moving stream of glowing white orbs that will travel towards (and through) the arena centre that all players should avoid. Simultaneously, the Emerald Weapon will charge another Sidescathe, which will eventually blast one half of the arena (indicated by a telegraph). All players will need to avoid the blasted side of the arena whilst also weaving between waves of orbs, followed very closely by another Drop-Down (knock-back).

*Drop-Down - creates another blue-circle marker within the arena, indicating that the lower-half of Emerald Weapon will soon inflict another knock-back. Considering that the arena has shrunk in size since the first knock-back, players will need to be extra careful with their positioning, making every effort to avoid being punted over the edge to an early doom.

Just like earlier, Drop-Down marks the end of a mechanical loop, causing Emerald Weapon to rinse-and-repeat the above mechanics until it has been damaged to 1% health. From here, a brand new phase begins. Just like the encounter with Ruby Weapon, reaching the next phase of the battle creates a checkpoint, meaning that if you wipe for any reason, the fight will now resume from the second phase rather than force you to start at the very beginning of the battle.

Phase 2
The battle resumes within a square-shaped arena, surrounded by a bright blue-glowing wall of energy that will instantly kill any player who touches it.

*Divide Et Impera #2 - the vicious (red-marked) tank-buster from earlier, except this time, it will also emit cone-AoE's in the direction of all other players whenever it is cast.

*Primus Terminus Est - marks three players with pushback markers - bright blue columns with a directional arrow. After a delay, all marked players will drop a column AoE and be violently shoved in the indicated direction. Bear in mind that any unmarked player caught in the column will also suffer a knockback. Before the pushback takes place, three circular AoE's will also spawn in the direction of the pushback. As a result, marked players will need to ensure that they do not stack on top of each other, avoid clipping other members of the raid with their column AoE, and also position themselves so that they are not knocked into the outer-wall or the circle AoE's.

*Secundus Terminus Est - causes all participants to be marked with a variation of white "+" or "x" shaped markers. After a delay, AoE telegraphs (in the shape of each player's marker) will be fired from their location(s). For example, if you have a "+" marker and stand in the centre of the arena, straight-line telegraphs will be fired in a + shape from that location. Due to the volume of AoE's and directions, players should coordinate themselves so that they do not cover the arena too heavily. For example, having all players stack loosely within a corner will ensure that there will be wide safe-zones to use afterwards, whereas if players stand in a more randomized fashion, safe-spots (if any) will be harder to identify.

*Tertius Terminus Est - causes three pairs of swords to drop into the arena, one after the other. Each pair of swords (in the order they were dropped) will eventually fire straight-line AoE's across the arena in an "x" shaped pattern. However, they will not detonate until all three pairs of swords have dropped, giving the impression that nowhere is safe. To avoid being hit, players should memorize which pair of swords dropped first and stand within the line of fire of the swords that dropped last, giving them time to allow earlier swords to fire and provide safe-spots that can be used to avoid follow-up blasts.

*Legio Phantasmatis - causes the Emerald Weapon to disappear from the arena, leaving behind an image of "Black Wolf" (Gaius van Baelsar), an add that should be picked up by a tank as soon as possible. Shortly after, the Black Wolf's Image will also summon an army of imperial legion images outside of the arena that will eventually form a firing line at one edge of the battlefield. Once the firing line has been formed, straight-line AoE's will soon be shot across the arena from each line of soldiers, one after the other.

Note that one soldier will be missing from each of the three firing lines - one missing at the front, one missing in the middle, and one missing in the back - forming a "/" or "\" shape. As such, players should first identify the missing soldier near the front and stand in that firing lane, then side-step into the lane with a soldier missing from the second line (and so on) until all three lines have fired their shot.

Keep in mind that any damage inflicted to the "Black Wolf" will be transferred to the Emerald Weapon afterwards, so be sure to maintain as much uptime as possible throughout the ordeal.

Assuming the raid survives the firing squad, Emerald Weapon will enter a mechanical loop, repeating the above list of mechanics until the boss has been defeated or the party wipes.

Before exploding, however, two of the mines will be tethered together with the magnet-mechanic (i.e, plus & minus symbols, where similar symbols will move away from each other and similar symbols will move toward each other), indicating that the tethered mines will eventually be pushed apart or pulled together beforehand.

The fight will largely uses forward vs. backward and left vs. right attacks. The shadow versions of these attacks require you to pay attention to the shadow tail indicator to know which way the boss is going to be facing (the tail will be the boss' butt) to correctly position to dodge the attacks. At 50% HP, the boss will begin to chain attacks together, so make sure you're paying extra attention!

Beast Phase Abilities

:Forward or Backward Implosion: A battlefield wide AOE that will hit everyone either in front of, or behind the boss. Pay attention to the name and position yourself on the opposite side to avoid taking damage.
:Forward or Backward Shadow Implosion: The same as the previous implosion ability, only now there will be a shadow tail indicator to let you know the way the boss will be facing when the attack executes. The tail is naturally the butt of the boss, so position accordingly to dodge the attacks.
:Deepshadow Nova: Unavoidable full room AOE, make sure to group heal and pop any group magic resistance cooldowns prior to the attack.
:Spawn Shadow + Shadow Warrior: The boss will summon three shadow clones, one with a tether indicator. The clones will then jump around the room in a clockwise pattern, and you'll need to make sure you're behind where the tethered clone ends up. You will not see the tether anymore once they start jumping, so make sure you're paying attention!
:Fade to Shadow: Two shadow pools will form on the edges of the battlefield. Each explosion will explode their quarter of the map only, so you can continue DPSing the boss in the middle of the room as long as you're not positioned in the quadrant the explosions are coming from.
:Shadowy Eruption: This will place a large cluster of targeted ground AOE indicators. Dodge to live!
:Sword Phase Transition: There will be no spell casting bar, however the boss will stand up on it's hind legs and shoot out a point blank AOE. Run away from the boss and the Sword Phase begins.

Sword Phase Abilities

:Umbra Smash: Tank single targeted ability that will hit them with four individual slashes, giving the tank slashing vulnerability stacks. These stacks can be ignored and do not require a tank swap.
:Shadow's Edge: Tankbuster, straight line slashing attack on the tank. Cooldowns/heals as needed and don't be in line in front of the boss!
:Left and Right Giga Slashes: The named side of battlefield relative to the boss will get slashed, move to the opposite side prior to the cast bar completing to avoid
:Left and Right Shadow Slashes: Look for the shadow tail indicator to know which direction the boss will be facing, and be on it's eventual opposite side of the named attack to avoid.
:Voidgate: The boss will summon three drop-zone indicators in the room, with beams showing how many people need to stand in them. Make sure each one has at least two people in them to avoid a getting a damage reduction debuff.
:Beast Phase Transition: This will be signified by a point blank knockback indicator. Make sure you don't get pushed off the battlefield, as well as being ready to heal through as this is a room wide AOE attack

Notes: Saying the initial phrase will cause the corresponding statue to glow, a symbol to appear above the player's head who will be given a buff, and a blue circle to in front of the statue, where they should begin their rotation movements. Performing a step correctly will trigger a sound effect. Players have 1 minute to complete each ritual once they say the activation phrase. If the player takes too long for a ritual, the symbol/buff will disappear and it will fail. Only the player with the buff can complete the ritual. Each ritual can be completed in any order, but once a ritual is started, it must be completed correctly before starting the next.

Afterwards, follow Matsya down the secret passage and continue through the foggy area, defeating the enemies and collecting the leather sack from Whasbyrm. In the area before the final boss, place the statues correctly: sparrow furthest from the boss room, whale middle, then turtle closest to the boss room. If done correctly, the mist will clear and the player will proceed to the secret boss.
|}
Note: If using a guide to complete the routes, it is recommended to attempt route 12 before 10-11, because if the player fails, they can still unlock the others. Completing Route 12 will unlock side, the second and final quest in the Aloalo Island questline.

To uncover the map in the closed-off room to the left, just before Statice's boss room, hug the left hallway at the bottom of the cliff from the room until the map is revealed. The room can normally be accessed by successfully completing the rituals and entering the secret foggy area (route 12) but not placing the statues correctly.
Quaqua
First boss of all paths. Shortly after engaging the boss, the arena will be surrounded with an AoE that will inflict damage-over-time to anyone who steps in it.

*Made Magic: Partywide damage and spawns three blue spheres.
*Arcane Armaments: The boss will tether to each sphere, and a green axe icon will slowly move towards each sphere. When it contacts, it will cause a brief point-blank AoE telegraph to appear. Move to the wall away from two spheres.
*Made Magic / Arcane Armaments: Similar to before, but a green chakram icon will move to each sphere, which will telegraph a donut AoE instead, so move on top of a sphere.
*Arcane Armaments: Spawns either two spears or two hammers to the sides of the boss.
**Rout: If it spawns spears, it will dash to one wall, and telegraph four dashes through the arena: three dashes around the edge in a triangle pattern, and one through the middle. The boss will either dash through the middle first, then the edges, or edges first then middle.
**Hammer Landing: If it spawns hammers, it will summon three beacons numbered 1-3. The boss will jump to each in order of the numbers and use a knockback. Position to avoid being knocked into the wall or use knockback immune. If timed correctly, knockback immune actions can prevent all 3 knockbacks.
*Violet Storm: A 120 degree cleave in front of where the boss is facing. Only has a brief AoE indicator.

Left Path: Quaqua's abilities change depending on the random weather event immediately prior to it (either fair skies or thunder).
----
*If the weather is fair skies, Quaqua will use:
**Howl: Summons two untargetable Anala Familiars, one left and one right. Each will telegraph a line AoE (Scalding Waves) that will cascade outwards in both directions. Dodge into one AoE telegraph after it goes off, wait for two AoEs, then dodge back to the middle.
*If the weather is stormy, Quaqua will use:
**Howl: Summons four untargetable Drake Familiars at the north wall. Two drakes will spawn "exaflare" telegraphs (Cloud to Ground), followed by the other two.

Middle Path: Quaqua's abilities change depending on how many poison flowers the player stepped on. If four flowers are stepped on, the ground prior to the boss will become poisonous.
----
*If fewer than four flowers were stepped on:
**Arcane Armaments: Spawns two tethers in a straight line, each with a green spear icon, to the water in the background. The summoned spears will use a large, briefly telegraphed, circle AoE originating from the targeting lasers. After hitting the ground, they will telegraph two multi-hit cross-shaped AoEs that will rotate according to the arrows. Start in the area where both AoEs are rotating towards, then slowly move in a straight line to the other previously safe area once the AoEs start going off.
*If four or more flowers were stepped on:
**Arcane Armaments: Spawns three tethers in a Y pattern, each with a green spear icon, to the purple water in the background. The summoned spears will then hit the arena and each spawn a growing circular pool of poison water. Move to the wall between two spears that are far away (two safe spots in total).

Right Path: Quaqua's abilities change depending how many fallen statues were repaired.
----
*If both statues were repaired:
**Arcane Pursuit: Spawns four purple orbs (Aetheric Charge) near the center of the arena. The statues at the edge of the arena will cast a line AoE that is harmless to players, but will remove the orbs.
**Arcane Pursuit: Now spawns a purple orb that will tether to players and slowly follow them. A statue will telegraph a line AoE as before. The orbs should be baited so they are hit by the AoE and destroyed. Orbs that collide with players or are not destroyed will do high damage. Another statue will telegraph a line AoE, giving the party two chances to destroy all orbs.
*If 0-1 statues were repaired:
**The four statues outside of the arena will begin glowing purple. Two statues at at time will begin telegraphing gaze attacks (Arcane Intervention) that will resolve once the purple circle converges on the statue, so look away from the statues before their gaze resolves. Being hit will inflict hysteria Hysteria.

The following are used regardless of path:

Made Magic / Arcane Armaments: Similar to before, but now spawns five spheres: three will have chakram icons, and two will have axe icons. Dodge by going to a sphere containing a chakram that is not directly next to an axe.

Soul of the South Seas: Ketuduke
Second boss of the left path. Shortly after engaging the boss, the arena will be surrounded with an AoE that will inflict damage-over-time to anyone who steps in it.

*Tidal Roar: Party-wide damage.
*Spring Crystals: Spawns four round-ish Spring Crystals on some tiles. These will each do a telegraphed point-blank AoE (Saturate), so do not be near them.
*Spring Crystals: Spawns two flat Spring Crystals on some tiles. These will each do a telegraphed line AoE (Saturate) in the directions of the long faces of the crystal, each hitting a column of tiles.
*Spring Crystals: Spawns two flat Spring Crystals on two adjacent tiles on the east wall.
**Bubble Net: Party-wide damage. One of the crystals will be lifted up into a bubble.
**Fluke Typhoon: A gust of wind in one direction that will move the bubbled crystal two tiles. After this resolves, the crystal line AoEs will immediately resolve with a very brief telegraph.
*Strewn Bubbles: Four blue portals will travel two tiles from the center in alternating directions, leaving behind a blue line. This telegraphs an AoE that covers each tile the line passes through.
*Encroaching Twintides: A telegraphed donut AoE, immediately followed by a point-blank AoE (Near Tide) with a very brief telegraph.

The boss will use a mechanic that depended on the route:

(Route 1) No fishing; do not assist Zozone:
----
*Zozone (untargetable) will spawn and want revenge.
*Spring Crystals: Spawns two flat crystals on two adjacent middle tiles near Zozone.
*Bubble Net: Partywide damage and traps one crystal in a bubble. The boss then begins casting Fluke Typhoon.
*Zozone will spawn an untargetable Summoned Apa add. It will tether to players with a proximity tether and cast Water III, requiring them to be far away to avoid excess damage while resolving the crystal line AoEs after Fluke Typhoon.
*After the mechanic, Zozone will flee.

(Route 2) No fishing; Save Zozone:
----
*Tidal Wave: Telegraphed knockback from one side. Cannot be prevented with knockback immune actions. Players will be inflicted with bind Bind for a few seconds during the knockback.
*Hydrosurge: Spawns a persistent line AoE through the middle of the arena.
*Zozone (untargetable) will spawn to assist the party.
*Spring Crystals: Spawns two flat crystals whose AoEs will cover the two columns on the side of the arena that the party is on.
*Zozone will spawn a Summoned Apa and Summoned Anila. The Apa will cast Wavefoam, spawning multiple bubbles on the arena.
*Each player should step in a bubble, which will bind Bind and inflict Bubble Net.
*The Anila will use Fluke Typhoon, knocking all bubbled players to the other side without crystals, safely across the persistent line AoE.
*Zozone and the adds will then flee.

(Route 3) Fishing; right sand pile:
----
*Roar: Summons two untargetable Aloalo Zaratan, each of which will face opposite directions (indicated by the orange arrow). They will both telegraph a 180 degree frontal cleave, together covering the entire arena.
*Bubble Net: Partywide damage and traps one of the adds in a bubble.
*Updraft: The bubbled add will be knocked up into the air, and both adds will resolve their AoE. Go in front of the bubbled add as its attack will miss.

(Route 4) Fishing; left stone pile:
----
*Roar: Summons an untargetable Aloalo Ogrebon in the middle of the arena.
*Bubble Net: Partywide damage and spawns several bubbles on the arena.
*The Ogrebon will begin casting Shock, a massive AoE that covers the entire arena.
** If the Ogrebon gets trapped in a bubble, players should remain on the ground (i.e., not in a bubble).
** If the Ogrebon does not get trapped in a bubble, players should enter bubbles.
*Updraft: Any bubbled entities will be knocked up into the air and the AoE will resolve.

The following are common regardless of route.
----
*Spring Crystals: Spawns four round crystals on one middle row and two flat crystals on adjacent wall tiles.
**Bubble Net: Traps two round crystals and one flat crystal, followed by Fluke Typhoon. To dodge these AoEs, go to the middle of the tile that initially contained a round crystal trapped in a bubble.
*Hydrobomb: Three sets of sequential baited circle AoEs on players.
*Blowing Bubbles: Eight portals (four on opposite walls) will appear and each spawn a bubble that will move across the arena. Being hit will bind Bind the player for several seconds and make them vulnerable to other avoidable AoEs.
**Meanwhile, the boss will cast Receding Twintides, a telegraphed point-blank AoE, that is immediately followed by Far Tide, a briefly telegraphed donut AoE.
*Strewn Bubbles is used again but will be combined with Receding Twintides (out then in) instead.
*Hydroblast: Telegraphed AoE tankbuster.

Timeless Guardian: The Lala
Second boss of the middle path. Shortly after engaging the boss, the arena will be surrounded with an AoE that will inflict damage-over-time to anyone who steps in it.
*Inferno Theorem: Party-wide damage.
*Arcane Blight: Telegraphed 270 degree conal AoE.
*Arcane Plot: Spawns several blue tiles with arrows, on the walls. These telegraph persistent AoEs that will move in the direction of the arrow across the arena, covering all tiles in the path. Go to a tile that an arrow does not travel through.
*Arcane Blight: Similar as before, but also telegraphs a 90 degree rotation of the AoE telegraph (either clockwise or counterclockwise), with a timer indicating when the rotation will resolve. The safe spot is after the AoE rotates.
*Analysis: Gives each player a Front/Right/Back/Left Unseen debuff.
*Targeted Light: Tethers all players, who will be targeted with an unavoidable attack. Each player must face their gap towards the boss to avoid taking high damage.

The boss will use a mechanic that depended on the route:

(Route 5) Go straight through:
----
*Faunal Figure: Spawns two untargetable Rodiaki (armadillo) adds, who will telegraph two proximity AoEs (Flail Smash) near the middle of the arena.

(Route 6) Scare off armadillos:
----
*Floral Figure: Spawns two untargetable Kapokapo (seedling) adds, who will telegraph two donut AoEs (Rolling Spout) near the middle of the arena.

(Route 7) Do not hit J'jhimei:
----
*Constructive Figure: Spawns three untargetable Aloalo Golem adds, who will telegraph three line AoEs (Aero II) hitting adjacent rows.

(Route 8) Damage J'jhimei:
----
*Volcanic Coordinates: Two sets of baited circle AoEs on players.

The following are common regardless of route.
----
*Strategic Strike: Three-hit tankbuster
*Analysis and Targeted Light are used again, but this time, the safe direction will rotate 90 degrees based on the telegraph, requiring players to face the gap towards the boss that takes into account the rotation. An easy way to resolve it is to look at the debuff icon and rotate it instead of trying to rotate the yellow marker around the character.
*Arcane Plot: Similar as before, but only spawns two blue tiles with arrows. In addition, there will be two tiles with arrows only, indicating that the moving AoE will change direction upon reaching those tiles. This leaves one row or column of tiles at the wall safe.
*Calculated Trajectory: Gives each player a Face debuff (e.g., Forward March, About Face, Left Face, Right Face.) that will turn into a forced march Forced March. In addition, the direction of the march will rotate 90 degrees based on the overhead telegraph. Players must face so they do not force march into the wall or the AoEs. Similar to Analysis, it may be easier to look at the debuff icon instead of the arrow marker below the character.
*Arcane Plot is used again and will spawn AoE telegraphs and arrows similar to the first use. However, this attack will be combined with the previous route-dependent mechanic. For routes 5-7, the variable mechanic will resolve after the tile AoEs propagate.
**(Route 5) Faunal Figure: The adds telegraph two proximity AoEs (Flail Smash) on two wall tiles.
**(Route 6) Floral Figure: The four adds each telegraph a donut AoE (Rolling Spout) centered on it, leaving only one tile safe.
**(Route 7) Constructive Figure: The two adds each telegraph a line AoE (Rolling Spout) centered on it, leaving two tiles safe.
**(Route 8) Volcanic Coordinates: Two sets of baited AoEs that appear with the arrow telegraphs. The baited AoEs will resolve before the tile AoEs propagate.

Long-lost Faerie: Statice
Second boss of the right path.

Immediately after engaging the boss, she will not move, and a landmine will appear in the middle of the arena. Players should be careful to avoid it, which will safely disappear after a few seconds.

*Surprise Balloon: Inflates a balloon in the middle that will telegraph a knockback. A needle will use a telegraphed line AoE that will pop the balloon and cause the knockback.
**4-tonze Weight: In addition, multiple circle AoE telegraphs at the edge of the arena will appear, leaving several gaps. Players should be knocked back to a safe area or use knockback immune.
*Trick Reload: Statice will sequentially load 6 bullets into her gun. Four of them will be successfully loaded, while two will miss. The boss will count the bullets she attempts to load. The party should take note of which bullets miss.
**Trigger Happy: Cover the arena with 6 conal AoE telegraphs, numbered 1-6. Numbered regions corresponding to the missed bullets are safe. For example, if Trick Reload had an OOXOXO pattern (O = loaded; X = missed), then the slices numbered 3 and 5 are safe.
*Pinwheel: The boss will summon three untargetable Balls of Fire at the walls. Each will telegraph a line AoE with a gap and a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation (Fire Spread). All three will rotate the same direction. Players can use the gaps to dodge the AoEs.
*Aero IV: Party-wide damage.

The boss will use a mechanic that depended on the route:

(Route 9) Accept Statice's offer and fall for the whoopee cushion prank:
----
*Whoopee Cushion: Spawns several whoopee cushion shadows around the arena. Stepping on one will reveal a cushion.
*Fair Flight: Knocks up all players, who will take damage once they fall. Players must be knocked up on a cushion, which will prevent them from taking damage when they safely land on it. Anyone who lands on the floor will take damage and be immobilized for a few seconds.

(Route 10) Deny Statice's offer and avoid the trapped treasure coffers:
----
*Present Box: Spawns four staves near the middle of the arena, several Surprising Missiles at the walls, and a Surprising Weapon, who will tether to a player. Two staves will telegraph donut AoEs, while the other two will aim line AoE telegraphs at random players. The party must avoid the AoEs and the missiles. If the Surprising Weapon gets too close to its target, it will knock the player back but not damage them.

(Route 11) Deny Statice's offer and open a trapped treasure coffer:
----
*Jack-in-the-box: Spawns four large, untargetable treasure coffers. Three of them will slightly move, while the fourth will remain still. The three that moved will then use a large point-blank AoE (Burst) with a brief indicator, so move to the stationary box.

The following are common regardless of route:
----
*Dartboard: Divides the arena into several slices of different colors (red, blue, yellow, and a narrower green section). Each color has a symbol on it (red = meteor, blue = hexagon, yellow = hammer, green = butterfly).
**The boss will spawn two sets of circle AoE telegraphs in random locations.
**A targetable Homing Pattern will spawn. When hit, it will be pushed in the direction of the attack. If it is too close to the boss, she will also push it in a random direction. If it touches the wall, it will be repelled.
**After several seconds, one of the following mechanics will resolve depending on which color section the Homing Pattern is currently in.
***Red: Unavoidable party-wide damage (Meteor)
***Blue: Deals 10 damage to each player (Hunks of Junk)
***Yellow: Proximity AoE telegraph (Sledgemagic)
***Green: Temporary Movement Speed Up to all players.
*Pinwheel is used again, but now combined with Trick Reload and Trigger Happy. Players must move to a safe sector while avoiding the rotating line AoEs.
*Surprise Balloon is used again, but now combined with Trick Reload and Trigger Happy. In addition, the balloon will inflate at a wall. The party should position to be knocked back into a safe sector, or use knockback immune.
*Shocking Abandon: Tankbuster

Forgotten Figure: Loquloqui
Secret second boss of the right path. Shortly after engaging the boss, the arena will be surrounded with an AoE that will inflict damage-over-time to anyone who steps in it.

*Long-lost Light: Party-wide damage.
*Summoning Rite: Spawns four untargetable Uolosapa (bird) adds at the north wall, each of which will telegraph a narrow line AoE.
**O Life, Flourish: Tethers two adds, causing their line AoEs to widen.
*Summoning Rite: Spawns six untargetable Repulu (newt) adds on the arena, each of which will telegraph a small point-blank AoE.
**O Life, Flourish: Tethers three adds, causing their circle AoEs to enlarge.
*Protective Will: Tankbuster.
*O Petals, Unfurl: Spawns two glowing flower buds on the wall, each of which will tether a glowing area on the arena. The flower buds will then travel to the glowing area and emit a large point-blank AoE with a brief indicator.
*Land Wave: 180 degree frontal cleave from the boss. Only has a brief ground indicator.
*O Isle, Bloom: Twelve flower bed tiles will sequentially spawn in a zigzag pattern, covering the entire arena. These telegraph square AoEs, so move into one after it resolves.
*O Sky, Be Mine: The boss grows in size.
**Sanctuary: Proximity AoE telegraph in the middle.
**Stirring of Spirits: The boss will jump in place three times, each doing party-wide damage and a knockback (Shockwave), while spawning three sets several circle AoE telegraphs. Position to avoid being knocked back into the wall or the AoEs, or time knockback immune to cover all three knockbacks.
**The boss will then return to its normal size.
*Summoning Rite: Spawns four birds and six newts, which function as before.
**O Life, Flourish: Tethers two birds and two newts, causing their AoEs to enlarge. Move to a corner of the arena without any tethered adds nearby.
*O Petals, Unfurl: Functions similarly as before, but now summons four flower buds. Two of them will have short tethers, so they will reach their destination and emit their AoEs first, while the other two have long tethers. Starting from the long tether side, wait until the short tethers resolve, then move into that side of the arena.

Loot
Aloalo Island uses personal loot, so players have to be sure to click and loot each chest themselves. If the party chooses the same portal that the NPC suggests at the start of the dungeon, an additional treasure coffer will spawn later on the path, immediately prior to the second boss.
