*Speak with [[Emeloth]] at the [[Goldsmiths' Guild]].

==Journal==
*Emeloth has a message for you from your apprentices.

*Emeloth informs you that your apprentices wish to consult you regarding the orchestrion they intend to make for the sultana. Seek the three of them out by Chakra Falls to the north, their favored gathering spot for furtive undertakings.

*The apprentices reveal that they have already begun work on the orchestrion in secret, and they would like you and Emeloth to inspect the components they have each crafted. Take the three items to your deputy and have her assess their quality.

*You present the three orchestrion components to Emeloth, who is astounded by the level of quality the apprentices were able to produce. While she believes they are capable of handling the rest themselves, she can appreciate the sentimental value in entrusting the finishing touches to you. See to this task and present Emeloth with the completed orchestrion.

※In the event you lose the materials or the synthesis ends in failure, you may try again by speaking with Kanchana.

*The orchestrion meets with Emeloth's resounding approval. The gift is ready; all that remains is the giving of it, and Emeloth promises to arrange an audience with Nanamo. Go to the palace entrance on Royal Promenade at the appointed hour, and make yourself known to the sultansworn Bartholomew.

*You present the orchestrion to Nanamo, who is beside herself with delight. For in its elegant yet compact form she sees not only the object of her desire, but also the promise of a brighter future for Ala Mhigo. The audience thus happily concluded, Emeloth bids the members of the Crown Gemworks gather at the Goldsmiths' Guild.

*Marcel arrives with the news that the knowledge of your gift to the sultana has swiftly gone public, and orders for identical orchestrions have since flooded Eshtaime's Aesthetics. Serendipity confesses to having told Momodi, an act tantamount to telling the whole of Ul'dah, but Marcel takes these developments in his stride and extends a supply deal to the apprentices─now apprentices no more. So it is that your role in their tale comes to an end. Yet near or far, you shall ever be their schoolmaster, and for the betterment of your art, see to it that you continue to blaze new trails as a goldsmith.
Hello guys! So, I've seen some file uploads for resizing purposes. I'd like to discuss how we'd like to keep going. I'm uploading files obtained from the game files themselves, and they're high-quality because of that. Resizing usually results in quality loss, so I'm wondering: are we going to use standard high-quality images and resize them using wiki markup <code><nowiki>[[File:Filepath.png|40px]]</nowiki></code> (if you want to resize to 40x40 px), or upload multiple resized files? *Emeloth is expecting a call on her linkpearl any moment now.

*No sooner do you begin conversing with Emeloth than she receives a call on her linkpearl from Marcel. It appears the apprentices' handiwork has been well received in Ul'dah, and Marcel would have them come to Ul'dah to meet with clients. Bear the good tidings to your students, who have gathered by Chakra Falls to the north.

*Your apprentices are ecstatic to learn that their crafting skills have met with approval. They go on to reveal that they wish to repay the sultana's kindness, but are struggling to determine what manner of item would make for a suitable tribute. J'khebica proposes consulting Marcel on the matter, and begs you to put in a word on their behalf when they travel to Ul'dah for the meeting.

*Though unable to provide an insight into a tribute, Marcel shares with you a rumor that a disguised Nanamo has been frequenting a certain shop. If you can but observe her visiting the shop in question, you may be able to discover the object of her fancy. This is good enough for J'khebica, who rushes off to investigate the rumor on Sapphire Avenue with her fellow apprentices. Join them there and be on hand to identify the sultana should she make an appearance.

*Your apprentices have managed to learn that the shop Nanamo frequents is a sundry goods store situated opposite the arms vender Jealous Juggernaut. All that remains, then, is to plant yourself at a suitable spot and play the waiting game.

*After a short while standing watch, a maiden not unlike Nanamo appears at the shop accompanied by a man not unlike Papashan. Their conversation reveals that Nanamo is extremely smitten with an orchestrion on display there, but it is too big to fit in her bed chamber. With that, the tribute is decided: an elegant and compact orchestrion. Join your apprentices back at Rhalgr's and report all that has come to pass to Emeloth.

*While Emeloth appreciates the apprentices' enthusiasm, she believes that they are not quite ready to make an orchestrion. To prepare them for the challenge, she proposes having them practice by crafting a tabletop chronometer, a similarly complex apparatus, and it falls to you once more to craft a sample for your apprentices.

*Your tabletop chronometer impresses Emeloth to no end and leaves your apprentices in awe of your skills yet again. As they go about honing their skills for the task ahead, see to it that you do not neglect your own, for yours are the hands that shape these young goldsmiths.

{{Quotation|Encyclopaedia Eorzea Volume 1|A secret society devoted to serving the realm, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn gave sage counsel to the leaders of [[Eorzea]] through unofficial channels. After their desperate struggle against the XIVth Imperial Legion they stepped out from the shadows, and continued to work for the betterment of Eorzea}}

[[The Scions of the Seventh Dawn]] are a group formed in the aftermath of the [[The Calamity|Calamity]] by the remaining members of [[The Circle of Knowing]] and [[The Path of the Twelve]], in accordance to [[Louisoix|Louisoix's]] will. Originally a secret society, the Scions went public after a series of events involving the XIVth Imperial Legion. They work to protect [[Eorzea]] and her peoples, by keeping the [[primal]] threat at bay and fighting back against the [[Garlean Empire]].

Their first headquarters was [[The Waking Sands]], located in [[Vesper Bay]], though they moved to [[The Rising Stones]], located in [[Mor Dhona]] shortly after they stepped out of the shadows.

==History==
As [[Dalamud]] was set to collide with [[Eorzea]] in what became the first [[Calamity]], [[Louisoix Leveilleur]], leader of The Circle of Knowing and at the time the commander of the army fielded by the [[Eorzean Alliance]] resolved to invoke the power of [[The Twelve]] to save the realm. In order to do so without causing all of Eorzea to fall under the deities' influence, he knew the summoner had to sacrifice themselves and resigned himself to that fate. He kept this information from his [[Archons]], fearing they wouldn't go along with it.

Louisoix knew there would be a need for a leader after he was gone though and started planning accordingly. He came to the [[Waking Sands]], which was home to the Path of the Twelve at the time, an organization that had been allied themselves to the Circle in several endeavours over the years, and told everything to their head, [[Minfilia]]. He entrusted the Circle's future to her, having seen great potential in her.

In the aftermath of the [[Battle of Carteneau]], the two organizations indeed merged to form the '''Scions of the Seventh Dawn''' under Minfilia's leadership.
