Dungeons are instanced areas teeming with enemies and bosses. Players are required to form a party before entering a dungeon. Each instance of a dungeon is separate from others and is exclusive to a specific party of players.

Dungeons need to be unlocked through quests. They also have level requirements. Players below the level requirement cannot enter the dungeon. Players above the level requirement are level synced to the maximum level permitted for the dungeon.

*For example Sastasha Seagrot's level requirements are 15-18. Level 14 players cannot enter the dungeon and level 19 and above players are level synced down to level 18 upon entering.
The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard) is a level 50 dungeon released in patch 2.4. This is the Hard Mode of The Sunken Temple of Qarn. It requires a light party of 4 players with item levels of 80 or above.

Reward: 50 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery and 40 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics.

Unlock
*Quest: The Wrath of Qarn
*Location of Quest-giver: Hugubert in Mor Dhona (x22,y8)
*Prerequisite: Main Scenario Quest The Ultimate Weapon, The Sunken Temple of Qarn
Bosses
Damaged Adjudicator
Do not attack the boss itself, attack the body part with the core. The core is indicated by a bright, red orb. Once the body part with the core is destroyed, the boss will break apart and adds will spawn. Kill the adds and repeat the process til the boss is dead.

Move out of the sand whirlpools that spawn on the ground. The whirlpools slowly pull you under the floor until you die.

Occasionally the boss will target a random player and spawn a sphere of sand. The sphere generates an circular AoE sand attack, it is advised that you move towards the edge of the battlefield if targeted.

Sabotender Emperatriz
Kill the adds through out the fight. During the fight the boss will attempt to cast 100,000 needles. The first time when she charges the 100,000 needles, deal damage to her til she stops. When she attempts to use 100,000 Needles the third time a Sabotender Guardia will spawn and cast Cover on her. You must kill Sabotender Guardia, the largest Sabotender with a green tether to the boss, QUICKLY. If her cast is successful your party wipes. Also look out for 3,000 needles which does 3,000 damage.

*Kill Sabotender Guardia, the largest Sabotender with a green tether to the boss, ASAP!!

Vicegerent To The Warden
Do not get hit by the mummy walls. Everytime you are hit by the Mummy wall, you gain 1 stack of Curse of the Mummy. When you reach 4 stacks, you will run to a corner of the room, enter a sarcophagus and become mummified. As a mummy you lose control of your character and run around aimlessly in the center of the boss room for a short time.

As the fight drags on, the boss will target a non-tank member of the party for a sword strike. Players can avoid the attack by running behind the boss while he is casting.

*Tanks should have cooldowns ready in case healer gets mummified.

Lore
Adventurers fear not danger, scholars care not for comfort, and miners like not unturned stones. Thus was born the unlikely partnership between the Order of Nald'thal and Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern, in the wake of a certain adventurer's conquest of the Sunken Temple's notorious traps. But the dead of Qarn left many snares─more than enough for a thousand years of greed─and now, a tomb raider's fevered dream of riches has stranded the joint expedition in a place where history has a tendency to come alive...

When she attempts to use 100,000 Needles the third time a Sabotender Guardia will spawn, you must kill Sabotender Guardia, the largest Sabotender with a green tether to the boss, QUICKLY. If her cast is successful your party wipes. Also look out for 3000 needles which does 3000 damage.

Sastasha (Hard) is a level 50 dungeon released in patch 2.4. This is the Hard Mode of Sastasha Seagrot. It requires a light party of 4 players with item levels of 80 or above.

Reward: 50 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery and 40 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics.

Unlock
*Quest: It's Definitely Pirates
*Location of Quest-giver: Bloezoeng in Mor Dhona (x22,y8)
*Prerequisite: Main Scenario Quest The Ultimate Weapon
Bosses
Karlabos
Karlabos will drop Aqua Balls on players to apply a DoT called Slime. Remove the DoT ASAP with Esuna or Leeches. He will also target the highest-enmity party member with Prey. Several seconds later, Karlabos will stun the player holding the Prey effect. Prey can be passed to other players by physically running into them, resulting in a stun on that player instead. His next attack is Tailscrew, which he will use on a player that is not the tank. Tailscrew will bring the player to 1% of their HP, but will not kill them. The player will die if they have Slime debuff on them. Tailscrew can be stunned; if possible, the tank should pass Prey to a nearby DPS before being stunned so they are able to stun Tailscrew immediately after.

The Aqua Balls that apply Slime can overlap to inflict Slime on nearby players. Players can therefore have more than 1 Slime debuff at a time. Avoid standing too close to other players; otherwise, the healer might need to remove Slime several times from a single party member before the Tailscrew attack is used. As long as no one has the debuff, the highest priority after that is keeping the tanks health high. Karlabos seems to hit harder the lower his health is.

So in short, the healer's priorities are as follows:

*Remove Slime debuff from everyone before Tailscrew attack > Keep tank health up > Keep party members health up.

Captain Madison
Kill the adds as soon as they spawn because they are quite weak. After Captain Madison charges a player and knocking them back. He immediately marks a random player and starts shooting at them with his gun. He will keep shooting until enough damage is dealt to him. He cannot be stunned while firing. At very low HP, Captain Madison will spawn a bunch of adds then run away.

Players should gather in the center of the boss room for the 3rd set and the 4th set (final set) of adds then AoE them down. Use caster Limit Break on the 3rd set if needed.

*DUMP DPS on him after he charges someone and starts shooting because he will keep shooting until enough damage is dealt.

Kraken
When only Kraken and Tentacles are up, attack Kraken and ignore Tentacles

When Kraken, Tentacles and Kraken's Arms are up, kill Kraken's Arms and ignore Tentacles.

When Kraken and 6 Kraken's Arms are up, just try to survive.

*Attack Kraken and Kraken's Arms, ignore Tentacles.

Alternative Method:
Players should pick an Arm that is near the boss and is in a corner then kill the Arm. Then ranged DPS should hide near the hole in a position that is out of reach of other Arms and DPS the head of Kraken.
Lore
Tucked deep inside the dank caverns of the Sastasha Seagrot, there is a secret port said to have been built by the pirate Mistbeard. In the years following the Calamity, the notorious Serpent Reavers claimed it as their lair, until the cutthroats were vanquished by a band of dauntless adventurers. The place subsequently came under the control of Lominsan authorities, who maintained a security presence within. Alas, that control did not last, for an unknown faction has arisen─seemingly from the briny depths─and overwhelmed the occupying Yellowjackets. Opinion is divided over the identity of these foes. Some say that they are pirates, while others swear that they are fiends. Yet it does not take a scholar to see that these two things need not be mutually exclusive.
Adds
Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (PLD): Has 3 different basic single target attacks, one of the attacks will steal a small amount of HP. Mark the moogle with an "X".

WoolyWart Kuqpu Kogi (RNG): Has no aggro table and will not move unless he is starting a combo attack. He uses a basic attack, "Moogle Eye Shot" which will fire 3, 4, or 5 attacks at a target marked with a multi-colored reticle. Mark him with a "5".

Pukla Puki the Pomburner (BLM): Has no aggro table, don’t try to control or tank him. He only uses 1 ability “Pom Flare” which is interrupted by attacking him 5 times. Failure to interrupt this means you will wipe. Mark him with a "4".

Furryfoot Kupli Kipp (WHM): she is the healer that heals the other moogles. Mark with a "3".

Pukna Pako the Tailturner (THF): Has no aggro table. Will randomly jolt around the map stabbing people. This can become a one-shot mechanic if you let him get too many buffs. Mark him with a "1".

Ruffletuft Kupta Kapa (WAR): Has 2 basic single target attacks. Mark him with the "O".

Puksi Piko the Shaggysong (BRD): Has an attack bonus song to other moogles and a damage song that does AoE around her. Somewhat responsive to hate. Mark with "2".

Combinations
The PLD and WAR will use overpower, creating 2 orange thin-cone markings on the ground. Move out of it.

The ranger will be a cue for many attacks. When he moves, something is going on. If you see him say anything in the chat bubble over his head that includes the word "Delta" then they are about to use a move called "Delta". This creates a giant triangle floor attack that will do about 4,000 damage to non-tanks. Just stay out of the middle of the arena during the fight and you’ll be okay.

If the ranger runs off saying "aye, aye" then they are about to do a holmgang looking attack COMBO with a poison pool and rain of death. The rain of death will hit targets marked with a yellow reticle. The holmgang chains can be broken by using esuna or leeches on the affected players. The debuff for this icon looks like a little mog face on a black background. Always free the healers first, then the DPS, then the tanks. If you have a Black Mage or Summoner, backup heal the tank til they are free. (Note: If you are marked for rain of death, the closer you are to the RNG, the less damage you will take, just be careful not to get too close to anyone because the damage will splash.) The 3 players closest to the PLD during this attack will be holmganged. The 3 furthest away will be targeted for rain of death.

The RNG will combo with a TANK AGGRO TABLE RESET. When this happens 3 players will be marked for rain of death. To counter this, run towards the RNG as fast as you can. Tanks MUST be ready to re-claim their aggro target IMMEDIATELY or you will probably lose a healer and proceed to wipe. The tank reset animation looks like a bunch of stars exploding from the ground.

Probably the "hardest" part of this fight comes the combo from the WHM and WAR. The arena floor will turn an awkward purple-ish color and the WHM will start to cast holy. Stop this the exact way you stop flare, attack it 5 times. At the same time, two people at random will be marked with a debuff which is red in color and looks exactly like the debuff the tanks will have basically all fight, except flipped to point up. The healers must ensuna/leech this off immediately (you have about 4 seconds) before Moogle-Go-Round happens. Failure to do so will kill the player with the debuff.

This is a very rough drawing of what this debuff looks like. Don’t hate on my superior paint skills.

Sometimes the BLM will get bored and cast 2 sets of meteors which are small circles on the ground, run out of them. One happens, then the other about 2 seconds later. There isn’t much of a grace period, but getting hit by 1 will not kill you, 2 might/probably will.

Phase 1
DPS the boss to 10%, he doesn't do anything major here but you will see all of his attacks. A "laser charging" attack that is easily avoidable. A single target attack. A small AoE attack. 2 conal attacks, one of the attacks will deplete your mana and the other one will deplete your TP. Those last 2 are the reason why you must keep the king away from all other players at all times.
Phase 2
He summons his minions, all the attacks are the same as listed above. The mini-mogs do NOT have access to the holmgang/rain combo or the holy/mog-go-round or the hate reset combos in this phase. Bring all of the mini-mogs down to about 10%, always focusing the BLM (#4) last. If you have to interrupt him, you don't want to kill it while doing that. When they are all around 10%, have your physical DPS kill #1 while the mages kill #5 (or any other 2, just pick your 2 favorite/least favorite). The mechanic here is that the king will use his own HP to revive and heal all the mini-mogs two times. So you basically have 2 tries to bring the king down low enough for the final phase.

Phase 3
Same thing, dps everything down to 10%, watch out for the new attacks. The King will get angry and cast an arena wide meteor that will probably kill anyone with weakness debuff on or people who are not topped off. To survive this, once a mini-mog dies, run to the center of the arena, drop a SCH bubble, use succor, and hope no one dies.

Phase 4
DPS everything to 10% or lower if you are good enough at controlling your DPS. At this point, assign the physical DPS to kill "X" and "O" with the tanks, while the mages kill "5" and work their way down the numbers. This way everything dies quickly and the attacks aren't wasted on targets that are going to die before a cast goes off. When the last mini-mog is about to die, have a melee DPS use the level 3 limit break while everyone burns the boss. If he finishes his Momento cast, you lose. Paladins should switch to Sword Oath and the healers should bust out the Cleric Stance, use cooldowns. You must kill all the mini-mogs AND the king before Momento finishes.

*Note: You do not have to DPS them evenly, and there really is no specific order in which to DPS them. It is worth noting that you should probably save the BLM, WHM. PLD, and WAR for last, especially in the last 2 phases, as you do not want to kill them while interrupting flare/holy, or trying to regain aggro on a hate reset.

Tips and Tricks
*Have your tanks pick which of the PLD/WAR mog they are going to hold onto. If one of your tanks wants to tank the WAR then have the other tank in your group focus target the WAR, when the WAR gets 3 stacks it is time to swap, same thing for the other tank, he will focus target the PLD, when it get 3 stacks it is time to switch. The stacks are buffs given out by the king when he wiggles his butt. It is important to make sure the stacks fall off before switching.

*Use voice chat. Dedicate one player (usually a ranged DPS) to be the shot caller. This player stands by "5" (the RNG) all fight and calls out delta, holmgang, and other activities. Also notices when one mini-mog needs to be focused. This player should also get used to saying "4" or "BlackMage" a lot, to cue the other players in on interrupting flare. When the WHM starts to cast holy. It isn't necessary but it helps, a lot. Especially the healers who might have to run into the middle of the arena once in a while to save someone.

*If you get marked for moogle-go-round, run to the middle of the arena so the healers will be in range of you. Nothing is more annoying to healers than having to try and ensuna/leeches someone who isn't in range. It is probably best to have both healers sort their party list to be the same, have one start from the top and one from the bottom of the list to make sure they are not trying to remove the same debuff.

*If you are a tank please keep to the outside of the arena. You should never get close to the other mini-mogs and especially never get close to the other tank's add. Be vocal about your movement. Sometimes the king will get a buff off on a small mog, just do everything you can to never buff #5 (RNG) or #1 (THF). They get really strong, very fast. Do not cross over the middle and never cross paths.
Kuplo Kopp's attempt to chastise the Mogglesguard for their dangerous and foolhardy actions has not had the intended effect. Reminded of how deadly the Twelveswood has become, the royal guards have instead channeled their fear and desperation into calling forth an even more potent potentate. The Good King Moggle Mog XII now styles himself the Great King Moggle Mog XII, and all the evildoers in the forest shall tremble before his majestic wrath!
The Avatar is the boss of the 8th turn of coil. Along with loot, players will obtain 30 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery for its completion.
The Avatar Abilities
All Phases
Diffusion Ray - large cone AOE that applies a DoT. This DoT ticks for 600 and can be cleansed with esuna and leeches.

Gaseous Bomb - marks a player with a non-transferable "satellite-like" icon. The target will be hit with an AOE for huge damage. Damage is split between all targets hit.

Homing Missile - draws a line between The Avatar and a random player (not MT). This line can be transferred by having another player intercept the line. The target will be hit with an AoE for a few thousand damage.

Phase 2
Brain Jack - causes MT to attack the nearest ally for x seconds. Brain Jack is casted every 30 seconds. Diffusion Ray always follows this move. (To prevent the boss from turning around, place a DPS within melee range of the tank. The DPS should not be in the front of The Avatar, at risk of being hit with Diffusion Ray).

Ballistic Missile - binds 2 players in place, and summons a large or small circle around each. After a delay, 2 people must be in the small circle(s) and 3 people must be in the large circle(s). Otherwise everybody in the circles will die. (Assuming that everybody stacks behind the boss, there are 3 different possibilities).

Phase 3
Allagan Field - debuffs a player for 30 seconds. Time is 30 seconds on, 10 seconds off, repeat. If the player takes 100 damage during the debuff, the raid will be hit with 200 damage when the debuff wears off. If the player takes 500 damage, the raid is hit with 1000 damage. (Maintain Stoneskin and Adloquium on the debuffed target to minimize damage taken.) (If desired, activate Defensive Reaction towers when Allgan Field is not active).

Biotowers
Biotowers are located at North, East, South, and West areas of the room. They activate in scripted sets of 2 or 3. They start with 1 charge and gain one charge every 15 seconds. After gaining 4 charges, the next charge will activate their special ability.

If two towers charge at the same time with the same frequency, The Avatar gains a stack of 2 buffs. The buffs will (a) increase defense and (b) increase damage output.

If towers are pushed/rushed properly, the boss will gain 0 stacks of these buffs.

If two or more towers charge to maximum, Avatar will wipe the party.

If a player steps into a tower, the tower gains one charge and the player is debuffed. This debuff increases the damage a player takes from a tower, and does not increase damage from other sources. It is not recommended that a player reach 2 stacks of the debuff. Debuff lasts for 90 seconds.

There is a 20 second period between the last tower's natural activation (nobody running in to charge it) and when the next set of towers spawn. It's always 20 seconds, whether there are two or three towers.

During two tower phases, it is an 80 second cycle (4x15s between natural charges + 20s before next towers spawn). The debuff you get for charging a tower manually lasts 90 seconds, so you have to plan accordingly.

During three tower phases, it is a 100 seconds cycle (4x20s between natural charges + 20s before next towers spawn). Because it's longer than the 90s debuff, you can have the same people activate the towers.

Special abilities of the towers:

North - summon 1 clockwork dreadnaught (Dread has conal aoe swipe, and will enrage if not killed fast enough, causing a wipe).

East - spawn 3 landmines in random areas, but not near towers and not under the boss (Touching a mine causes knockback and ~2000 AOE damage. If any mine remains after 15 seconds, the raid will wipe).

South - Defensive Reaction (Raidwide AOE damage).

West - Defensive Reaction (Raidwide AOE damage).

The Avatar Strategy
This fight has a 11m hard enrage timer. After 11 minutes The Avatar will wipe the raid. The Avatar stays in the center of the boss room. When the Main Tank moves out of the melee range of The Avatar, it will use heavy hitting lasers instead of auto-attacks. Fighting in the northeast corner of the boss (the back-left corner as you enter the room) is recommended because this gives you access to the two more important biotowers, and gives easy vision of the AOE biotowers to the healers.

Phase 1: 0s - 2m40s
Set 1 (Dread + West Tower): rush dread tower (send 2 DPS to dread tower). Tank grabs dread, and uses all cooldowns to survive.

Set 2 (Mines + West Tower): rush mines tower. Assign 3 DPS for landmines, one for each landmine. Alternate strategy.

Phase 2: 2m40s - 7m or 45% HP
With enough dps (pushing to 45% health), you can skip the Ballistic Missiles after the 5th tower set.

If you push to 45% before ~6:00, Allagan Field comes early and the 5th set of towers doesn't appear. In other words, very high DPS allows you to skip as much as Phase 2 as you'd like.

The Avatar always does Homing Missiles immediately after Brainjack ends. It makes sense for the same person to be responsible for tanking Brainjacks duty and Homing Missiles. IMO, Bard is the perfect candidate for this job since it comes at no compromise to their DPS output.

The Avatar gains Brain Jack and Ballistic Missile abilities.

Set 3 (Dread + West Tower): see above, for set 1.

Set 4 (Mines + West Tower): see above, for set 2.

Set 5 (Dread + Mines Tower): you can choose to rush dread or mines. Picking dread, you must deal with Ballistic Missile and mines at the same time. Picking mines, you must deal with Ballistic Missile and the dread at the same time.

Phase 3: 7m - 11m or 45% to 0% HP
3 towers now activate per wave. 3 players must push towers now. These people should not be debuffed; healers and tank(s) might need to get involved.

The tower's automatic charge rate is now 20 seconds, instead of 15 seconds.

The player with Allagan Field should not be pushing towers or hitting mines, period.

The Avatar always casts Homing Missiles right after Allagan Field in this phase.

The Avatar can no longer cast Brain Jack or Ballistic Missile.

The Avatar gains the Allagan Field ability.

Set 6 (Mines + West + South Tower): send 2 players to mines and 1 player to south. (Flexible strategy, based on group preference).

Set 7 (Mines + Dread + South Tower): send 2 players to dread and 1 player to mines. (Flexible strategy, based on group preference).

Set 8 (Mines + West + South Tower): see above, for set 6.

Strategies for Tower-Pushing
In The Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 2 or The Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 7, players will face the treacherous Melusine. Along with loot, players will obtain 30 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery for its completion.
Melusine Abilities
Circle Blades is a circular AoE with indicator. It does 1,000 to 2,000 damage.

Cursed Voice is an ability that targets 1 tank, 1 healer, and 1 DPS. All of the targeted players get a voice that petrifies anything in front of the players in a cone. Use this to petrify Renauds and not your party members. If any Snake adds get hit with voice they get a damage increase which makes the fight much harder to heal.

Cursed Shriek is an ability that targets 1 healer or DPS. Cursed party member shrieks out and petrifies everything in its line-of-sight. Players must hide behind a frozen Renaud to avoid its effects. The ability will also give the boss a damage buff stack if boss isn't LoS'd.

Fireballs is an ability that spawns fireballs periodically. Before 50% HP they're usually casted after shriek goes off. After 50%, they're usually before shriek. Boss shoots 2 fireballs to separate targets that do AoE damage. Will prioritize ranged DPS first, then healers?

Petrifaction is an ability used by the 3rd add and right after the add is dead. The ability petrifies anyone looking at the boss similar to Medusa.
*Petrified players to will die after 1 hit.
Tail Whip is a frontal cone AoE with no indicator.

Venomous Tail deals heavy damage and poisons its targets. Cleanse the debuff ASAP.

Adds
Renaud is a giant, slow Golem. It will aggro normally until someone hits him, then he will be stuck on that target for life. Petrify him with cursed voice and hide behind him to LoS shrieks. Each petrification lasts 30 seconds and he has a 60 second slow debuff when spawning. He becomes extremely fast when his slow debuff wears off. Kill the old Renaud when a new Renaud spawns.

Melee Snakes (1st set) uses frontal cleave (no indicator), AoE cleave (with indicator), and huge damage. Spawns 1 at a time. DPS should be good enough to ensure that 2 aren't up simultaneously.

Ranged Snakes (2nd set) uses single target damage and an indicator where AoE damage will come down. Just have to heal through these and kill ASAP. All 4 spawn simultaneously.

Caster Snake (3rd and last snake add) deals heavy damage on OT and casts Petrifaction. Look away when Petrifaction comes. Main boss will cast petrifaction when this snake is downed. Can LB this or LB boss, doesn't really matter that much. Make sure party is positioned so you can use Cursed Voice on the Renaud without hitting the Caster snake or main boss.

Melusine Strategy
Melusine casts AOE Fireballs on party members that do around 2k damage. Do not stand near other party members or you risk taking 2 Fireballs and dying. Circle blade is just a red circle AOE that does barely any damage but you shouldn't stand near Melusine if you're not melee.

Melusine casts Cursed Voice and Cursed Shriek. It is imperative you know the difference between these two debuffs, because one mistake means a wipe. Cursed-Voice has a triangle debuff icon while Cursed Shriek has a circular debuff icon. When the Cursed Voice debuff wears off it casts a conal AoE that petrifies enemies and allies in the direction your character is facing when the debuff wears off. When Cursed Shriek debuff wears off it casts a AoE petrifaction that petrifies all of the players in an area.

*For the first phase, we have the MT/OT tanking Melusine at the north tip of the arena with all of our party spread out in a loose semi-circle. The point of this is to 1: avoid the double fireballs from hitting the same person, 2: ease the pressure of dealing with Cursed Voice. Anybody with voice need only turn around during the last 2-3 seconds of the debuff to blast behind them safely.

Throughout the fight, Renaud (the cyclops) spawns and tethers to the first person that strikes it and will follow him or her and one shot if him or her if it reaches them. The strategy for handling Renaud is to petrify it with the Cursed voice conal aoe. Renaud can be afflicted with heavy and cause them to basically stand still due to their inherent heavy debuff. Binds should be avoided at all costs as it removes their innate slow. The person Renaud is tethered to should kite around the outside to position the Renaud until Cursed Voice wears off and someone can petrify it. Damaging a petrified Renaud kills it, but do not kill them immediately because read on.

Cursed Shriek is a petrify that covers the entire area so you must use a petrified Renaud to break Line-Of-Sight with the raid and sort of "hide behind" it. Successfully being behind a Renaud when Cursed Shriek wears off will prevent Cursed Shriek from petrifying everyone.

*To deal with Renauds, we have the OT provoke it and run around the arena. The closest person with voice is responsible for petrifying it is. This is the hardest part of the first phase.

Renauds spawn at a pretty constant rate, and as you progress into the fight other adds will spawn alongside it. Lamia Deathdancer is the first add that spawns at around 80% HP. It is a melee mini-medusa. It casts cleave and Circle Blade. Archers spawn at ~50% HP. These adds do a few abilities that deal lots of damage including an AOE and a targeted ability with a visible mark. The Prosecutor add will spawn at 35% HP. This add deals heavy magic damage, and has the ability to cast Petrifaction. When it uses the ability, if you are facing the boss, you will be petrified. Simply look away to avoid this effect. When Prosecutor dies, Melusine will gain this ability and begin to use it periodically. Be sure to kill The Prosecutor quickly as it deals heavy damage and when it is kept alive, Melusine absorbs it, gaining a buff and its remaining HP.

When Melusine is around 50% HP, the boss room begins to glow with poison in one of the three areas it is split into. After 15 seconds the glowing area explodes, it's pretty obvious and you are safe to run through it until it explodes but do not stand in it.

Additionally she gains a new ability called Tail venom. The ability that adds a poison that must be dispelled off or it triggers an AOE.
The Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 1 or The Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 6, players will face the dangerous plant Rafflesia. Along with loot, players will obtain 30 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery for its completion.
Rafflesia Abilities
Phases 1 and 2
Bloody Caress is a frontal, conal AoE attack that applies a "vulnerability up" debuff to the tank. Rest of the party should stand behind the boss to avoid the ability. Rafflesia will use the ability once every 15 to 30 seconds in the first two phases. Tank Swap should occur every 2 - 3 stacks of the debuff.

Briary Growth is an ability that spawns 3 Dark Matter Bulbs at 3 random locations at the outer edge of the boss room or at the center. After some time the bulbs will sprout vines that deal damage and slow all players on top of it. The viney coverage will spread over time until it covers a substantial area of the boss room. By tanking the boss in the center of the room, players can avoid all the Briary Growth at the outer edge. If a Dark Matter Bulb spawns in the center of the boss room, kill it quickly.

Floral Trap is an ability that marks a random player with a yellow sign then sucks all players near that player to Rafflesia, within melee range. Immediately after Floral Trap, the boss will cast Devour. Players standing on the vine areas of Briary Growth will not be pulled to the boss. The marked player should remain behind the boss while rest of the party should move in front of it temporarily. Players in front should be unaffected by the pulling this way. Rafflesia will use the Floral Trap after second Thorn Whip.

Devour is an ability used immediately after Floral Trap. It absorbs all players within the boss' melee range. The boss gains a damage buff from the absorbed player and removes the Honey debuff from Viscid Emission. Rafflesia will use Spit immediately after.

Spit is an ability used after Devour, it releases the players absorbed by Devour and deals about 2000 damage to all players in party.

Blighted Banquet is an ability used at 70% HP, when transitioned from phase 1 to 2. This ability will instantly kill any player moving, attacking or using any abilities when it finishes casting.

Viscid Emission is an ability used in phase 2. This ability places a Honey debuff on a single player. An Add named Dark Matter Hornet will attack the player with the debuff. The add should be killed quickly because it cannot be taunted away. The player with the debuff needs to be Devoured or adds will continuously spawn and attack the player in Phase 3 without a meaning to remove the debuff.
Phase 3
Leafstorm is used at the start of phase 3. It deals about 2000 damage to all players in party.

Dark Matter Slugs are 3 adds that spawn immediately after Leafstorm. They should be controlled by your offtank and killed by caster Limit Break. Players can also leave 1 of the slugs alive. Let it eat 3 Acidic Honey, allowing it to turn into a super slug then killing it.

Acid Rain is an ability used immediately after the spawn of the Dark Matter Slugs. Acid Rain is circular AoE spells that spawn underneath the feet of 3 players. Players should move out of these circular ground indicators. At the center of these indicators, 3 adds named Acidic Honey. These adds apply a stacking debuff named Acid Cloud to all players in group. Acid Cloud deals the damage to all players, the more debuffs the player has the more damage she will take. Players can have up to 10 stacks, taking upward of 6,500 damage. One possible solution is ignoring the debuffs and DPS down the boss. Another, better solution is to allow one Dark Matter Slug to live. Then stack all the players and allow Acid Rain to spawn in the same location and allow Acidic Honeys to spawn at the same location. The slug will be able to consume all the Acidic Honeys and transform into a super slug. Players then need to kill the super slug but do not need to worry about Acid Rain.

Swarm deal about 1,000 damage to your main tank and places 4 debuffs on her.

Thorn Whip is an ability that tethers to different party members with visible lines. Players tethered together need to move away from each other to break the link or take about 300 to 500 damage per second. As the battle progress an increasing number of people will be tethered. At the first of the boss fight, about 2 players are tethered but at the end up to 6 players are affected.

Rotten Stench is used during Thorn Whip. It deals linear AoE damage to a player. The damage is split between all the players it hits. When players are breaking Thorn Whip, they should move up and down from each other instead of sideways so they can stay in the AoE and absorb the damage from Rotten Stentch.
Rafflesia Strategy
Phase 1: 100% to 70%
Players should tank Rafflesia in the center of the boss room with the tank in front of the boss while rest of the party behind it. Players should tank swap after 2 to 3 stacks of Bloody Caress debuffs.

*Rotation: Thorn Whip -> Briary Growth -> Thorn Whip -> Floral Trap -> Devour -> Spit -> Repeat
Phase 2: 70% to 40%
Phase 2 starts off with a Blighted Banquet. During the cast, players need to stop moving, using abilities or attacking. All the players who are performing actions at the end of the cast are killed instantly. When the boss uses Viscid Emission, kill the add quickly. The individual with the Honey debuff needs to be Devoured by the boss before the phase is over.

*Rotation: Briary Growth -> Thorn Whip -> Floral Trap -> Devour -> Spit -> Honey -> Thorn Whip -> Blighted Bouquet -> Briary Growth -> Thorn Whip -> Floral Trap -> Devour -> Spit -> Thorn Whip -> Blighted Bouquet -> Repeat

Phase 3: 40% to 0%
When transitioning from Phase 2 to 3, Rafflesia uses Leafstorm. The ability deals about 2,000 damage to everyone in party. The boss will no longer use some of its abilities such as Blighted Bouquet, Bloody Caress, Briary Growth, Floral Trap, Devour and Spit. Tank swap will not longer be necessary. After Leafstorm, 3 Dark Matter Slugs will spawn. After the death of the slugs, Acid Rain will be used underneath 3 players. Players need to move out of the ground indicators. Acid Rain also spawns Acidic Honey that periodically uses the ability named Acid Cloud. Acid Cloud deals damage to all players and apply a debuff that stacks up to 10. The more stacks of the debuff the player has the more damage she takes. At 10 stacks, players will take up to 6,500 damage from Acid Cloud.

*Players can ignore the Acid Cloud debuff and DPS down the boss.

Players should also watch out for 2 new abilities, Rotten Stench and Swarm.

Your foray into the caverns beneath Castrum Occidens has led you to an unexpected revelation: the incomplete form of Bahamut, harbinger of the Calamity, slumbers deep within earth. Though seemingly a prisoner, the elder primal is gradually being regenerated by the massive, Ragnarok-class internment hulks that surround the unmoving entity. Alisaie reasons that if Bahamut's full restoration is to be prevented, then all three coils sustaining and repairing the dreadful being must be deactivated. Filled with new determination, you assemble a group of courageous comrades and set your sights on the fragment of Dalamud found in the North Shroud.
Thornmarch is a level 50 trial that requires the player to defeat Good King Moggle Mog XII and his Mogglesguards. The trial requires a full party of 8 players with average item level (iLevel) of 54 or above. To unlock the trial, players must be on the quest You Have Selected Regicide and have completed the quest Hail to the King, Kupo.

*Players can start the questline by talking to Vorsaile Heuloix at New Gridania (x9,y11).

*The difficulty of Thornmarch is between that of Garuda (Hard) and Titan (Hard)

*Players will receive 15 Tomes of Philosophy and 12 Tomes of Mythology for the completion of trial.

Strategy
There are 2 phases and a kill priority for all of the moogles which is the same in both phases. The priority is BLM > WHM > BRD > THF (Thief) > RNG (Ranger) > PLD > WAR > King. (This is simply the way I've always done it. I'm not sure if you can kill the King before any of the other ones, or what happens if you do. If you can, and nothing bad happens, kill King before WAR). You want to put King towards the end because the King spell Momento Moogle/Mori will do partywide damage based on how many of the minions are alive at the time.

If you mark moogles in phase 1, the marks will stay on them in phase 2. So have someone mark them BLM(1), WHM(2), BRD(3), THF(4), RNG(5), PLD(X1), WAR(X2).
Phase 1
Moogles will pop up as a function of time. At the start, only the PLD is on the Battlefield. 20 seconds after engaging, the RNG and BLM enter. 30 seconds more, the WHM, THF and WAR join. And 40 seconds after the BRD pops in. Once the seven have popoed, you have roughly 60 seconds before all seven respawn and group together to summon the King.

*Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (PLD): Uses Spinning Mogshield, a circular AoE attack around him. Also charms players.

*WoolyWart Kuqpu Kogi (RNG): Sits in a corner of the battlefield randomly targeting a player. The targeted player will be identified by a large floating Crosshair above them. After a short delay WoolyWart will use Eagle Eye Shot, a five hit ranged attack that may deal considerable damage.

*Pukla Puki the Pomburner (BLM): Casts Flare which has a large range and needs to be stunned or silenced. Ring is a big orange ring on the ground. King gets meteor when it dies. Avoidable. Somewhat responsive to hate.

*Furryfoot Kupli Kipp (WHM): Casts holy and cures moogles. King gets holy when it dies. I think holy does less damage the further you are away from it, but not sure. Doesn't respond to hate.

*Pukna Pako the Tailturner (THF): Randomly targets a player, then running up and stabbing them.

*Ruffletuft Kupta Kapa (WAR): Aoe cone that does some damage. Decent hitting auto attack. Large Aoe Steel Cyclone as the fight goes on and some moogles die. Simply get out of the large circle if you're not a tank. Circle is black with a green outline. King gets this when he dies. Responds to hate.

*Puksi Piko the Shaggysong (BRD): Has an attack bonus song to other moogles and a damage song that does aoe around him. Somewhat responsive to hate.

For the fight, have everyone try to kill PLD before the other moogles pop. Avoid the circle stun that it does. If the other moogles pop, go for the BLM while MT finishes the PLD off solo. RNG and BLM pop next. MT will finish PLD and start to work on RNG who will go to the outside and sit there. The rest of the party proceeds on the kill order with the OT trying to tank as many of the other moogles as possible and keeping them off of healers. MT will pick up the WAR and keep soloing the RNG while positioning the WAR so that his overpower is oriented outside of the circle. Ignore the WAR for this entire phase. Just keep him overpowering the outside and solo the RNG. The group will continue killing moogles and finish the RNG off just in time for them to summon the King.

Only the WAR should be alive when King is summoned meaning that Momento Moogle will do very little damage. If more than the WAR is alive by the time they summon, you will take more damage, with 3 moogles up being a wipe.

Phase 2
MT gets hate on King as soon as he comes up (you can attack him while he's charming momento moogle) and pulls him to the very edge. MT will also provoke the WAR and keep shield lobbing/tomahawking/flashing both while kiting in a semi-circle fashion around the edge. This is all the mank tank does the entire fight. Keep the WAR and the king out of the BRD songs and keep running back and forth along the edge of the circle path.

The rest of the party proceeds along the kill order with the OT saving his stun for BLM flare.

The whole fight is a damage check. The king will do momento moogle in phase 2 to check how many moogles are alive and if too many are alive, you will all die because your damage was too slow.

As long as the king's line attack and the WAR's aoe are as far from the rest of the party as possible and facing the outside, you should have no trouble winning.
Loot
For defeating the King like Ifrit(HM), Garuda(HM) and Titan(HM), you will get a reward.
Legend holds that, in a time long forgotten, mooglekind abided in the heavens as loyal servants of the gods.

However, a war of deific proportions would erupt, triggered by a feud over a single goblet of wine. Growing weary of the conflict, the reigning moogle monarch, Good King Moggle Mog XII, resolved to lead his people to the realm of mortals in secret, that they might again know a life of peace.

Alas, the distance to the land below proved too great for little moogle wings. After much deliberation, it was decided that the journey must be made by rope, the longest that has ever been woven. So it was that the king grasped onto one end of this lifeline as his subjects, one after the next, half clambered, half slid their way to the Promised Land. In this manner all the moogles were able to arrive at their destination, whole of body and joyous of spirit. That is, all of them save for Good King Moggle Mog XII, who had not the means to lower himself.

Mourning their lost king and touched by his sacrifice, the moogles have since abstained from naming a successor to the crown. Even now, they hold fast to the belief that their beloved monarch will one day return before them in all his might and majesty.

The phase is a damage check and all of the moogles have unique properties.

*Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (PLD): Uses ::Spinning Mogshield::, a circular AoE attack around him. Also charms players.

*Puksi Piko the Shaggysong (BRD): Has an attack bonus song to other moogles and a damage song that does aoe around him. Somewhat responsive to hate.

*Pukna Pako the Tailturner (THF): Randomly targets a player, then running up and stabbing them.

If you mark moogles in phase 1, the marks will stay on them in phase 2. So have someone mark them BLM(1), WHM(2), BRD(3), THF(4), RNG(5), PLD(X1), WAR(X2).
Phase 1
Moogles will pop up as a function of time. The phase is a damage check and all of the moogles have unique properties.

*Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (PLD): Charms people and responds to hate (You can keep him on the tank).

*Puksi Piko the Shaggysong (BRD): Has an attack bonus song to other moogles and a damage song that does aoe around him. Somewhat responsive to hate.

*Pukna Pako the Tailturner (THF): Runs around and autoattacks people. Doesn't respond to hate like at all.

There are 2 phases and a kill priority for all of the moogles which is the same in both phases.

Lore

The phase is a damage check and all of the moogles have unique properties.

*Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (PLD): Charms people and responds to hate (You can keep him on the tank).

*WoolyWart Kuqpu Kogi (RNG): Sits in one spot towards the outside and will eagle eye shot people periodically. Doesn't respond to hate. Eagle eye shot is a 5 hit attack that adds up to about 1k. It will mark someone when it does it.

Just keep him overpowering the outside and solo the RNG. The group will continue killing moogles and finish the RNG off just in time for them to summon the King.
