[[Master Recipe Tomes]] unlock the Master Recipes category, now a separate tab from Special Recipes (as of [[patch 6.2]], see right). These tomes can be used by the corresponding [[crafting]] [[classes]], beginning at level 50 for Crafting and Demimateria Tomes, and level 15 for Glamour Tomes. Master Recipe Tomes were first introduced in [[Patch 2.2]].

There are three types of Master Recipe Tomes: [[#Master Recipes: Glamours|Glamours]], [[#Master Recipes: Demimateria|Demimateria]], and [[#Master Recipes: Crafting|Crafting]]. The [[#Master Recipes: Crafting|Crafting tomes]] contain [[Endgame Gear Guide|endgame gear recipes]] that require both [[Aetherial Reduction|aethersand]] and ingredients purchased with [[Allagan Tomestones]] or [[Scrips]].

As of [[Patch 5.3]], all tomes beginning with the Master III series are available under "Master Recipes" from all [[Scrip Exchange|Scrip Exchange NPCs]]. You must first unlock [[Talan]] and then [[Collectables#Unlock|the relevant level range of the Scrip Exchange]] before being able to purchase the books.
