They are multi-floor, ever-changing [[dungeon]]s. Floor layouts are procedurally generated and will change each run. All players will begin at a reduced level, and only by fighting the enemies within will they be able to gain the strength and experience needed to reach the final floor.

Players can enter solo or with a party of up to four players, with no role restrictions (excluding [[Blue Mage|limited jobs]]). Parties can be done using matchmaking (available from the dungeon entrance and not the [[Duty Finder]] interface) or with a premade party. Higher floors do not allow for matchmade parties due to their difficulty. There are exclusive [[achievements]] from successfully completing a solo run without dying.

==Rewards==
When originally released, you could receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in Euphrosyne. This restriction was removed in [[Patch 6.4]].

Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken.
* Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.

===Completion Reward===
Upon completing Euphrosyne, players will also earn a separate reward: an {{item icon|Euphrosyne Coin}}.
