| id=1|1 || Ketenramm Blaufystsyn || {{i|One Last Hurrah}} || [[File:Occult Record 1.png|300px]] || In the year 1497 of the Sixth Astral Era, a Lominsan Sea Wolf explorer of not twenty summers plotted a westward course for Hingashi, embarking on a fateful voyage that would catapult him into the ranks of legend. Unbeknownst to him and his crew, a great continent lay between them and the Far East─and it was not the splendor of Kugane, but the shores of Tural that ultimately lay upon the horizon.<br><br>Having made landfall, Ketenramm roamed the interior, ultimately reaching Mamook, the vast home of the Mamool Ja. There he met then-Autarch Gulool Ja Ja, with whom he struck up a firm friendship. Together, the pair ranged the length and breadth of Tural, spurred on by the same adventurous spirit that led the old sailor to this mysterious isle.
|-
| id=2|2 || The Phantom Village || Survey Point, [[Phantom Village]] {{convert coordinate|6.1, 4.9}} || [[File:Occult Record 2.png|300px]] || Perched upon the eastern tip of the Occult Crescent, this compact settlement is deathly silent, save for the gentle sluicing of the plaza fountain. Though its stone structures are weathered and overgrown, the orderly state of the town implies a degree of active preservation by some unknown hand. In the harbor, the forlorn wrecks of outbound ships are a testament to the fearsome reputation Shades' Triangle commands.
|-
| id=3|3 || The Archive || {{i|The Phantom Village}} || [[File:Occult Record 3.png|300px]] || Although identical in form to those gruesome figures of legend, the tonberries, the Archive is unquestionably rational and possessing of a friendly─if occasionally boastful─demeanor. He pledged to join Ketenramm's expedition soon after being roused from his sarcophagus in the phantom village, though it remains to be seen whether he will prove a useful asset, as the "wise old man" struggles to recall most of his allegedly nigh-infinite knowledge─a result of lingering grogginess from his lengthy slumber, or some other arcane process?
|-
| id=4|4 || Iris || {{i|Unfamiliar_Territory}} || [[File:Occult Record 4.png|300px]] || This ethereal familiar appeared shortly after the Archive's awakening, claiming authoritatively that the man's wisdom was sealed away and can only be accessed where it concerns matters that the Warrior of Light has witnessed firsthand. When pressed about her own purpose, however, she too confessed ignorance. Compounding the mystery, the Archive senses the same aether that envelops the isle emanating from the faerie─could her master be the unseen hand presiding over the Occult Crescent?
|-
| id=5|5 || The Expedition Base Camp || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|38.6, 7.6}} || [[File:Occult Record 5.png|300px]] || Nestled within the ruins of an old fortification, the encampment is an ideal location from which to stage forays into the South Horn of the island, while the surrounding walls offer sufficient protection from nearby fiends. The focal point of the camp is a device indistinguishable from an aetheryte that ought to facilitate swift travel on the island. Intriguingly, these ruins exhibit a different architectural style to that of the phantom village, though when and by whom they were first built is yet to be determined.
|-
| id=6|6 || Phantom Jobs || {{i|The Ancient Arts of War}} || [[File:Occult Record 6.png|300px]] || During the course of the expedition, the Archive uncovered crystalline objects containing the distilled knowledge of ancient martial methods. Known as "soul shards," these fragments allow the bearer to wield an array of long-forgotten techniques. According to the scholar-turned-tonberry, the crystals will cease to function upon leaving the Occult Crescent, thus limiting their efficacy to the isle. Nonetheless, they should prove a boon when dealing with its more combative fauna.
|-
| id=7|7 || The Lost Citadel || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|31.4, 17.0}} || [[File:Occult Record 7.png|300px]] || This rough-hewn stone fortress looks to have stood for centuries past its abandonment by the original occupants─though its vaulted corridors now echo with the restless prowling of more monstrous denizens. Architecturally, the rhomboid motifs and cavernous central dome bear a striking similarity to the Amdapori ruins discovered in the Twelveswood. The presence of multiple stone guardians also implies some relation to ancient Amdapor.
|-
| id=8|8 || Trade Tortoise || [[Notes on the Trade Tortoise|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Cursed Concern}} || [[File:Occult Record 8.png|300px]] || This hulking reptilian possesses a modicum of intelligence, not to mention a rudimentary grasp of the common tongue, and will attempt to sell its wares to anyone foolish enough to draw near. Those who would engage in business with the craven beast should note that these trinkets are invariably cursed. This predilection for curses hints at some connection with the city of Skalla, which once prospered in Gyr Abania─though why anyone would summon such a troublesome familiar remains a mystery.
|-
| id=9|9 || The Vanishing Slope || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|20.2, 12.2}} || [[File:Occult Record 9.png|300px]] || Stretching from the southern tip of the island, this stony beach overlooks the bay formed by the crescent, and on clear days, a bifurcated tower can be seen shimmering, mirage-like, in the distance. The weathered ruins clustered on the shore bear similarities with the phantom village─namely, the inverse conical style favored in Nym, an ancient city-state that flourished upon present-day Vylbrand. The rounded central plaza and overarching layout of the ruins suggest this was a location of religious or spiritual significance.
|-
| id=10|10 || Nymian Petalodus || [[Notes on the Nymian Petalodus|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Shark Attack}} || [[File:Occult Record 10.png|300px]] || Nymian legend speaks of the petalodus, a shark from which sprouts two ambulatory limbs. Naturalists long decried the idea as laughable, asserting that the myth is based on a real species of shark that uses its fins to traverse the seabed, as if walking. This notion itself was eventually disputed when credible reports of the limbed shark began to flood in.<br><br>As if its very existence was not strange enough, a curious rumor surrounds the creature: allegedly, the petalodus will resist the temptation to devour any fleshy morsel it identifies as a friend. Individual attempts to verify said rumor have thus far ended predictably.
|-
| id=11|11 || Persistent Pot || [[Notes on Persistent Pots|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Persistent Pots}} / {{i|Pleading Pots}} / {{i|Daylight Pottery}} / {{i|In a Pot of Bother}} || [[File:Occult Record 11.png|300px]] || Afflicted with an insatiable appetite for elixirs, these diminutive creatures are technically soulkin, although their habits and life cycle are little understood. As such, alternative theories concerning their nature abound, chief among them the notion that they are in fact a species of voidsent related to the imp. Equally, debates rage regarding their thirst for elixir. Some naturalists posit that the need is nutritional, while others suggest the creatures simply enjoy burdening their interlocutors with unreasonable demands. Perhaps one day science will produce a compelling answer.
|-
| id=12|12 || Heathcliff || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|23.2, 21.5}} || [[File:Occult Record 12.png|300px]] || Almost entirely devoid of trees and other large flora, these undulating hills are stalked by beasts who need not fear the lack of cover on account of their sheer size and ferocity. Standing stately and silent among the prowling creatures is a rotunda, built upon an ornately patterned aetherial node. This node may well be the centerpoint of whatever arcane nexus powers the island's ward and obscures the crescent's very existence from those who approach.
|-
| id=13|13 || The Fell Warren || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|10.2, 22.5}} || [[File:Occult Record 13.png|300px]] || Deep within the caves running through the rugged mountains of the Occult Crescent lies a ruined ancient city. The prevalence of pointed arches calls to mind ancient Skalla, which once flourished in Gyr Abania before the Sixth Umbral Calamity inundated the land. Although much of Skalla now sleeps beneath Loch Seld, these remnants bear all the hallmarks of its unusual architectural process: the masterful sculpting of wind-weathered stone formations.
|-
| id=14|14 || Mythic Idol || [[Notes on the Mythic Idol|Notes]] dropped from {{i|From Times Bygone}} || [[File:Occult Record 14.png|300px]] || Found in the depths of the crystallized caverns, this creature's fragile ceramic form belies an enduring strength. The magical runes upon its torso allow it to summon minions and arcane artifacts in battle, making it a challenging, unpredictable foe. Details regarding the mythic idol's creation have always been shrouded in mystery. Records indicate that even the people of Skalla, who often utilized such constructs, were unaware of their provenance. Given that Gyr Abania has long been a hub for trade with the East, there is every likelihood that the underlying technology was developed in foreign lands and deliberately kept secret.
|-
| id=15|15 || The Shadowed City || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|24.2, 32.8}} || [[File:Occult Record 15.png|300px]] || Towering above the forlorn streets and shuttered buildings of this once-magnificent city is a colossal pyramid visible from malms away. Its architecture distinctly resembles that of Mhach, a great power reduced to naught by the War of the Magi and subsequent Sixth Umbral Calamity. As the stigma associated with Mhach's forbidden arts remains strong today, the secrets of its destructive magicks and summoning rituals have been largely left to slumber in the desolate swamplands of Yafaem─and perhaps here, in this ruined metropolis.
|-
| id=16|16 || Black Chocobo || [[Notes on Black Chocobos|Notes]] dropped from {{i|The Black Regiment}} || [[File:Occult Record 16.png|300px]] || Black-feathered chocobos capable of flight are the culmination of a lengthy selective breeding process, and are seldom encountered in the wild. The Occult Crescent, however, is home to a sizable population that seem to thrive despite the numerous fiends roaming the isle. Whether they are escaped stable chocobos from the mainland or were brought here intentionally remains unclear.
|-
| id=17|17 || Crescent Berserker || [[Notes on the Crescent Berserker|Notes]] dropped from {{i|The Unbridled}} || [[File:Occult Record 17.png|300px]] || The shadowed city often echoes with the footfalls of this hulking, vaguely manlike scourge. Despite its mortal appearance, it is no different to the soulless voidsent that swarm the nearby streets─an artificial construct brought to life by aetherial energies for use as a familiar, like as not. Given that the soul shard in its possession allows it to wield a berserker's techniques, it more than makes up for what it lacks in intelligence with unbridled fury.
|-
| id=18|18 || Eldergrowth || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|18.5, 33.8}} || [[File:Occult Record 18.png|300px]] || The Occult Crescent is home to a wealth of architectural ruins seemingly handpicked from various fallen civilizations, and this sense of curation extends to the island's plant life as well. For example, one humid region is home to giant trees that could well be a millennium old, yet are entirely unsuited to the local environment. The logical conclusion is that the trees were transplanted from some far-flung place, yet why seek to transform the island's ecology in such a manner?
|-
| id=19|19 || The Abandoned Ascent || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|15.6, 29.5}} || [[File:Occult Record 19.png|300px]] || Rising out of the wetlands, this crumbling edifice features a multitude of interlocking stairways and stone platforms. Its architecture does not resemble any known style, although it likely originated in the Fifth Astral Era. Indeed, the indigo blue accents found throughout the structure match descriptions of a color reportedly held sacred by one of the twelve city-states from the period. Sadly, the dearth of archaeological evidence makes comparative studies impossible.
|-
| id=20|20 || Cloister Demon || [[Notes on the Cloister Demon|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Calamity Bound}} || [[File:Occult Record 20.png|300px]] || Having been summoned forth from the void, this powerful fiend now resides near the abandoned ascent. Entering into pacts with such voidsent is an ancient practice that continues to this day, despite the inherent risks. Bound thus to their summoners, these creatures serve myriad roles: from instruments of brute force to bestowers of supernatural power and arcane weapons. One wonders what duties the cloister demon was assigned in exchange for corporeal form and aether-given vitality.
|-
| id=21|21 || The Silent Streets || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|36.6, 33.7}} || [[File:Occult Record 21.png|300px]] || Surrounding the base of the shadowed city's great pyramid is a labyrinth of streets flanked by imposing apartment facades. The architectural motifs on display are unmistakably late-Mhachi in origin.<br><br>Having foreseen the coming floods, the mages of Mhach constructed a floating island, that the populace might escape the impending deluge. The impossibly tall buildings of its residential quarter made efficient use of the space available, and stand as a testament to the ingenuity of Mhachi engineering even today. The attention to detail is evident in the protective glyphs carved into every ilm of these ruins.
|-
| id=22|22 || The Ancient Stoneworks || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|36.0, 22.6}} || [[File:Occult Record 22.png|300px]] || Amdapori golems, originally conceived of to combat Mhachi black magi, are said to have once been produced in workshops like this one. Initially, the constructs were simplistic and functional, but as the Amdapori perfected their craft, they began to represent people and animals alike. Towards the close of the Fifth Astral Era, the creations became ever more removed from reality, with craftsmen giving life to winged creatures and other flights of fancy.
|-
| id=23|23 || The Wanderer's Haven || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|3.8, 5.8}} || [[File:Occult Record 23.png|300px]] || The ancient city-state of Nym is known for its worship of Oschon, the Wanderer. In his honor, a sanctuary was built among the peaks of Vylbrand, and a comparable monument founded upon the shore─aligned so as to receive the sacred mountain winds that flowed down from on high. Although the coastal structure was lost to the floodwater of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, its essence lives on in this Occult Crescent relic.
|-
| id=24|24 || The Brazier || Survey Point, [[South Horn]] {{convert coordinate|8.7, 35.9}} || [[File:Occult Record 24.png|300px]] || The histories indicate that one Fifth Astral Era city-state revered Nald'thal as god of the forge, its citizens frequently rendering up offerings and lighting sacred beacons to honor His command over the element of fire. For this purpose, circular fora were built atop many public buildings, allowing the people to construct mighty bonfires of worship. A similar feature is present at the summit of the abandoned ascent.
|-
| id=25|25 || The Island's Architect || {{i|Past and Crescent}} || [[File:Occult Record 25.png|300px]] || This individual is the unseen hand presiding over the Occult Crescent, and master of countless familiars, including the faerie, Iris. Seemingly, their ultimate goal is to protect and preserve Fifth Astral Era cultures, although in a manner which prevents the period's blighted legacy─and the knowledge that brought about the War of the Magi─from transmitting to future generations. The mystery of this contradictory aim is compounded further by the ethereal voice that has guided at least one soul to the isle...
|-
| id=26|26 || Demon Tablet || [[Notes on the Demon Tablet|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Demon Tablet]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Blood}}<br><br>Purchase from the [[Expedition Antiquarian (North Horn)|Expedition Antiquarian]] in [[North Horn]] {{coords|39.4, 38.7}} for {{arcane amulet|3}} || [[File:Occult Record 26.png|300px]] || Upon entering the Tower of Blood, intruders are met with this grim stone guardian, a variant of the demon walls that defended ancient Amdapor. As techniques for producing these soulkin developed, Amdapori artisans crafted ever more intricate automata, of which this specimen is a fine example. Covered in magical inscriptions, it appears optimized for preventing the ingress of threats into the tower.
|-
| id=27|27 || Dead Stars || [[Notes on the Dead Stars|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Dead Stars]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Blood}}<br><br>Purchase from the [[Expedition Antiquarian (North Horn)|Expedition Antiquarian]] in [[North Horn]] {{coords|39.4, 38.7}} for {{arcane amulet|3}} || [[File:Occult Record 27.png|300px]] || Nereid, Triton, and Phobos─a triumvirate of pranksters wielding the power of frost, fire, and poison, respectively. Using their command of the elements, the trio manipulate the weather on the Occult Crescent, having apparently been tasked with preserving the isle's transplanted flora. These familiars are endowed with sufficient intelligence to carry out their duties, but their language and demeanor are decidedly infantile. Whether this was intentional or simply an aberration resulting from eons of continued service is unclear.
|-
| id=28|28 || Marble Dragon || [[Notes on the Marble Dragon|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Marble Dragon]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Blood}}<br><br>Purchase from the [[Expedition Antiquarian (North Horn)|Expedition Antiquarian]] in [[North Horn]] {{coords|39.4, 38.7}} for {{arcane amulet|3}} || [[File:Occult Record 28.png|300px]] || This golem must surely be considered among the masterworks of Amdapori craftsmanship. Serving to protect the Tower of Blood from trespassers, its movements and ferocity match that of a living, breathing dragon─an impressive feat considering the fact this guardian is naught but aether-imbued marble. Given the startling attention to detail, the creator must have visited Dravania to observe their scaled muses firsthand.
|-
| id=29|29 || Magitaur || [[Notes on Magitaur|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Magitaur]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Blood}}<br><br>Purchase from the [[Expedition Antiquarian (North Horn)|Expedition Antiquarian]] in [[North Horn]] {{coords|39.4, 38.7}} for {{arcane amulet|3}} || [[File:Occult Record 29.png|300px]] || This monstrous brute guards the uppermost floor of the Tower of Blood. Although voidsent of its ilk are seldom endowed with much intelligence, this specimen is capable of complex combat techniques, guided by skillful manipulation of magical stone tablets. However, it is Magitaur's arsenal of dread weapons, including the rune axe, the sage's staff, the assassin's dagger, and the holy lance─all of which date back to the War of the Magi─that make it an opponent as treacherous as any of its more elevated kin.
|-
| id=30|30 || The Secluded Stacks || Survey Point, [[The Forked Tower: Blood]], Secluded Stacks {{convert coordinate|20.2, 12.2}} (final room of raid) || [[File:Occult Record 30.png|300px]] || At the pinnacle of the Tower of Blood sits an ancient study filled with tomes, tablets, and manuscripts from the Fifth Astral Era. Unfortunately, the entire collection is written in a script bearing no obvious resemblance to any extant language, rendering the documents indecipherable. Perhaps the owner concocted the script as a means of concealing the knowledge contained therein─but what could necessitate such elaborate encoding?
|-
| id=31|31 || North Horn Base Camp || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|39.1, 38.0}} || [[File:Occult Record 31.png|300px]] || The expedition has claimed a ruined fortress for its base of operations on the North Horn of the Occult Crescent. In addition to an existing occult aetheryte, this convenient stronghold also provides an elevated vantage point from which to survey the surroundings and detect the approach of potential threats. Despite the camp's ideal location, however, the north basin environs are even more inhospitable than the south, and the advance party has been advised to consider immediate withdrawal should they face any dangerously abnormal phenomena.
|-
| id=32|32 || The Crown of Karnak || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|36.4, 32.2}} || [[File:Occult Record 32.png|300px]] || This fortress was built using bricks treated with a special arcane process. The distinctive multi-level architecture and blue-accented masonry is reminiscent of the abandoned ascent on the South Horn, suggesting that these structures are both products of the same civilization. According to the Archive, the building style is particular to the city-state of Karnak, a nation which developed methods for infusing inorganic matter with sorcerous energy. Techniques for enchanting weaponry and animating objects with magically imbued commands are but some of the myriad disciplines they created which are still practiced until this day.
|-
| id=33|33 || Arbatel || [[Notes on Arbatel|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Forbidden Folios}} || [[File:Occult Record 33.png|300px]] || This arcane tome was one of many scribed in the Fifth Astral Era. Broadly translated to "On Ancient Magicks," its title suggests a treatise on sorcerous arts considered old even in that historic age. The island's architect, however, has since transformed the book into a guardian of knowledge, a zealous sentinel armed with forbidden spells to temporarily alter comprehension levels and repel intruders. Yet even unguarded, the plethora of written works found in its vicinity have nevertheless been rendered unreadable by means of magical encryption.
|-
| id=34|34 || Tiny Mage || [[Notes on the Tiny Mage|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Tiny Terror}} || [[File:Occult Record 34.png|300px]] || Manufactured towards the end of the War of the Magi, this mammet model was intended for deployment in platoon-sized companies, with a chosen leader in charge of multiple subordinates. Each mammet's core was infused with high-density aether in order to facilitate this tactical coordination, endowing each with a semblance of life in the same manner as a golem. The Archive explains that the design of these diminutive dolls was based on a visitor from another world─the proportionally overlarge heads a result of emulating that sage sorcerer and the powerful magicks he wielded.
|-
| id=35|35 || Algol || [[Notes on Algol|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Imbalanced Diet}} || [[File:Occult Record 35.png|300px]] || A hulking, four-armed fiend of misshapen aspect, this construct's features are dominated by a maw of improbably massive size. It is a creation said to embody the concept of "desire," which in this case has manifested primarily in the form of voracious appetite. During the War of the Magi, Skallic practitioners are said to have studied curses which channel mankind's basest urges. If horrors of this kind were indeed brought into being with deliberate intent, then the mind recoils from the methods employed to incite and capture such desperate hunger.
|-
| id=36|36 || Shadowdeep || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|27.6, 26.3}} || [[File:Occult Record 36.png|300px]] || This placid lake is found in the center of the Occult Crescent's north basin. Wild animals are often spotted drinking of its bountiful waters, but none ever tarry at the shore for long. Skittish and uneasy, they appear wary not only of predators but of the place itself, as if the very air carried a scent of foreboding. Whether frightened by the ghostly flames of the lake's hamlet or sensing some other sinister presence, the cause of this fearful behavior remains uncertain.
|-
| id=37|37 || Labyrinth of the Damned || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|39.7, 22.6}} || [[File:Occult Record 37.png|300px]] || This subterranean maze is carved into the mountains on the eastern side of the basin. Seemingly representative of no single culture, its disparate elements include materials reminiscent of the base camp ruins bathed in the cold light common to Mhachi illumination. Its design suggests a dungeon built to hold prisoners of the isle's master, yet with no population native to the island, those consigned to its depths were likely wayward sailors or rebellious familiars.
|-
| id=38|38 || Metamorph || [[Notes on the Metamorph|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Accept No Imitators}} || [[File:Occult Record 38.png|300px]] || A master of illusory arts, this bipedal familiar is capable of assuming a variety of forms. Creatures with a talent for mimicry exist in every corner of the star, and research into replicating such abilities saw a great surge of interest during the War of the Magi. Coincidentally, ever since venturing to the North Horn, there have been several reports of expedition teams acquiring "new" members. Finding someone asleep in their tent when you've just seen them leave camp; hearing an extra response at roll call in the mornings... Best pray that the trusted comrade by your side is truly your trusted comrade.
|-
| id=39|39 || Panoptical Pillar || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|27.0, 14.0}} || [[File:Occult Record 39.png|300px]] || Rising from the edge of the Skallic ruins, this stone spire affords an uninterrupted view of the Occult Crescent's north basin. Each set of ruins in the region is an example of an extreme environment, and it is conjectured that the basin itself exists as a showcase of cataclysmic conditions. The Archive has shared that similar watchtowers were built in wartime Skalla at key strategic locations, although many now rest at the bottom of Loch Seld.
|-
| id=40|40 || Sinking Sanctuary || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|40.0, 3.9}} || [[File:Occult Record 40.png|300px]] || Built with rust-hued stone and featuring a preponderance of pointed arches, this grandiose structure is a recreation of a Skallic place of worship─albeit half-buried in the earth upon which it stands. Historical records contain observations from the end of the Fifth Astral Era, describing how the balance of ambient aether tilted dangerously towards water. Even in regions spared by the floods, foundations were nonetheless critically weakened by water seeping up from below, and the sanctuary here is likely a deliberate reproduction of the damage wrought by that catastrophic event.
|-
| id=41|41 || Pallmagia || [[Notes on the Pallmagia|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Appalling Behavior}} || [[File:Occult Record 41.png|300px]] || The gleaning of monstrous martial abilities has long been studied, and practitioners of this age-old art continue to thrive in various regions, the blue mages of Tural most notable among them. Fifth Astral Era records depict a variant of these magicks employed by a school of Skallic sorcerers, who slew wrathful beasts and harnessed their blood as catalysts for curses─it is from these magi that the Pallmagia's origins can be traced.
|-
| id=42|42 || Phantom Necromancer || [[Notes on the Phantom Necromancer|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Dark Artistry}} || [[File:Occult Record 42.png|300px]] || Ancient records dated from the War of the Magi tell the tale of a sorcerer who despoiled every settlement he passed with an army of reanimated corpses. Though he was eventually slain by a valiant hero, it is said that the murderous mage absorbed the souls of his undead legion before his defeat, warping himself into a hideous fiend.
|-
| id=43|43 || The Marrowood || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|17.5, 5.2}} || [[File:Occult Record 43.png|300px]] || This miniature labyrinth of twisting sentinels is dotted with rotting wooden cages, telling a tale all their own of one ancient city-state's history. Unlike the other nations of the Fifth Astral Era, the Archive recalls that this city-state was merely assumed large enough to be one, and its borders were defined by the forest and its highly protective community. Those foolish enough to trespass upon this territory were mercilessly thrown into the cages as a warning to outsiders.
|-
| id=44|44 || The Abductor || [[Notes on the Abductor|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Lost on the Wind}} || [[File:Occult Record 44.png|300px]] || Ordered to procure the vital aetheric resources required for the Occult Crescent to flourish, this winged horror─as its name implies─abducts any aether-rich materials it can get its talons on, including crystals, superfluous flora and fauna, and sailors from nearby seas. Those taken prisoner by this monstrosity likely perished soon after their capture, consumed for the creation of the isle's myriad familiars.
|-
| id=45|45 || Suspended Masonry || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|11.1, 38.8}} || [[File:Occult Record 45.png|300px]] || As these ruins share countless architectural similarities with those found in La Noscea, logic dictates that these, too, are Nymian in origin. Scholars commonly posit that the floating isles of outer La Noscea emerged due to natural phenomena in the region, such as a tilt towards wind-aspected aether currents after the Calamity. Upon analysis of the Occult Crescent's structures, however, some now postulate that its airborne tendencies are, in fact, influenced by man-made magicks. A new theory suggests the Nymians conducted thorough research on floating continents, intending for their territory to one day take to the skies and avoid the great flood.
|-
| id=46|46 || The Windward Watch || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|4.8, 36.4}} || [[File:Occult Record 46.png|300px]] || Built to accompany the Wanderer's Haven, these hallowed ruins celebrate Oschon's dominion over mountains. Unlike its flooded counterpart, however, this sanctuary still stands today in the peaks of northern Vylbrand, where devout pilgrims and adventurers will climb to beseech the Wanderer's protection. Although the model on the Occult Crescent was likely erected some time after La Noscea's, the lack of caretakers over time, as well as aetheric instability in the region, have enabled considerably more weathering on this iteration.
|-
| id=47|47 || Shrine of Spheres || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|2.1, 23.0}} || [[File:Occult Record 47.png|300px]] || This enigmatic structure borrows its design from one of the lesser-known city-states of the Fifth Astral Era. According to the Archive, this small nation wielded powerful sealing spells based in time magicks, and skilled practitioners of the art would weave intricate spherical patterns into their arcane geometries. Despite surviving through the War of the Magi, the city-state's leaders chose to seal their society away from the prying eyes of rival nations, vanishing entirely from the annals of history... Still, it stands to reason that its ruins may yet sleep in lands unknown.
|-
| id=48|48 || Claret Dragon || [[Notes on the Claret Dragon|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Cursed Resurgence}} || [[File:Occult Record 48.png|300px]] || It is unclear whether this draconic abomination was venomous in its previous life, or whether it gained this ability after its reanimation as a golem. Regardless, the poison haze it wields is its deadliest weapon, capable of morphing its victims into living corpses. It dominates the battlefield as a harbinger of death, shielding its ghastly body with aetherial wards and laying waste to all in its path. The fact that such a calamitous creature could roam free across the North Horn is a testament to the highly unstable magicks at work there.
|-
| id=49|49 || Moldering Streets || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|7.4, 14.0}} || [[File:Occult Record 49.png|300px]] || Scholars oft claim that the fungal bloom in the Twelveswood's Amdapori ruins was caused by weakened earth-aspected energies in the wake of the Calamity. Fascinatingly, however, a nearly identical species of fungus proliferates across these silent city streets on the Occult Crescent. These environs suggest that prolonged overconsumption of environmental aether─not unlike the phenomenon seen during the War of the Magi─can eventually force similarly severe anomalies to occur.
|-
| id=50|50 || The Alabaster Blade || [[Notes on the Alabaster Blade|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Quarried Away}} || [[File:Occult Record 50.png|300px]] || Amdapor was once famed for its stone guardians, crafted for both the offense and defense of the nation. Historians classify these arcane works of art by their martial capabilities, as well as the era of Amdapori history in which they were created─the strongest and rarest among these soldiers were imbued with the power to defend against entire armies. The Alabaster Blade was one such model, produced in the War of the Magi's final throes. A peerless warrior and master of spellcraft, this artificial champion wields an enchanted weapon forged with magicks from other city-states, effortlessly weaving sorcery and swordplay in its relentless assaults.
|-
| id=51|51 || The Moldering Lake || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|3.9, 2.1}} || [[File:Occult Record 51.png|300px]] || On all sides, the water is surrounded by fungal blooms reminiscent of cotton bolls. Be not captivated, however, for here the air is thick with toxic spores, and those who value their lungs ought not stay overlong.<br>Submerged in the lake is a cathedral with a towering spire─likely built in honor of Nophica, the goddess formerly revered in Amdapor. What cruel irony, then, that those who worshipped the mother of life would instead pursue tools of death...and be thus punished for it.
|-
| id=52|52 || Unhallowed Hamlet || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|21.3, 19.7}} || [[File:Occult Record 52.png|300px]] || Ghastly purple flames illuminate what would otherwise appear to be an ordinary fishing village, were it not for the telltale presence of militant voidsent. According to the Archive, it is in fact the birthplace of Mhach, recreated most faithfully.<br>It all began on the shores of Yafaem─the day an artifact was hauled out of the sea. From it emerged a "demon" which bestowed unto the villagers vast arcane knowledge. Brilliant minds pursued greater and greater advancements, particularly of the destructive variety, whereby the sorceress Shatotto established the founding principles of black magic. Thereafter, what was once a humble village grew rapidly into an emergent nation.
|-
| id=53|53 || Conjured Calofisteri || [[Notes on Conjured Calofisteri|Notes]] dropped from {{i|Doubled Trouble}} || [[File:Occult Record 53.png|300px]] || At the height of the Fifth Astral Era, ancient Mhach was home to the archmagus Calofisteri. It is said that she gained inhuman power through an infusion of voidsent blood─a technique developed by her grandfather─and appointed herself guardian of the Nullstone, a powerful relic that kept the fiends from breaking their pacts. This conjured version, however, is naught but a mindless clone believed to have been weaponized during the War of the Magi. Its presence on the Occult Crescent can only be the architect's doing.
|-
| id=54|54 || Dark Territory || Survey Point, [[North Horn]] {{convert coordinate|22.7, 23.9}}|| [[File:Occult Record 54.png|300px]] || Far beneath the unhallowed hamlet lies a space steeped in Darkness. Claimed as a domain by vicious voidsent, the area suffers from the corrupting influence of another realm, its structures and even the very ground eroded into an unknown substance.<br>It should be noted that, for voidsent, the term "domain" holds two meanings: either a tract of existing land treated as territory, or─in the case of more powerful entities─a dimension entirely of their own making. The latter is believed to share fundamental characteristics with magical barriers, yet despite years of extensive research, their inner workings remain a mystery.
|-
| id=55|55 || Two-headed Aevis || [[Notes on the Two-headed Aevis|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Two-headed Aevis]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic}} or {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic (Extreme)}} || [[File:Occult Record 55.png|300px]] || Given its powers of flight, this gargantuan serpent may seem a close relative of winged scalekin like the sanuwa. That its two heads have separate elemental affinities, however, would suggest it is in fact an arcane fusion of different creatures. One need not look so far as the ancient Allagans, known creators of chimeras like the minotaur, to find those with the ambition to produce ever more powerful life-forms. Thus it stands that the two-headed aevis was likely wrought by mages of the Fifth Astral Era in their quest for weapons of war.
|-
| id=56|56 || Sword Dancer || [[Notes on the Sword Dancer|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Sword Dancer]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic}} or {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic (Extreme)}} || [[File:Occult Record 56.png|300px]] || This ancient guardian dwells on the North Horn of the Occult Crescent, its blades magically manipulated with the practiced elegance of a performer. And indeed, there are no few commonalities between dance and the martial arts. Flawless bodily movement is both foundation and finale, and with each new generation of practitioners, even the most basic techniques have spawned countless branching schools of thought. Given that this sword dancer's style bears some resemblance to the Kriegstanz of the Near East, it may be that the two are descended from the same ancestor.
|-
| id=57|57 || Necrophobia || [[Notes on Necrophobia|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating [[Necrophobia]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic}} or {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic (Extreme)}} || [[File:Occult Record 57.png|300px]] || The nature of immortality has been studied throughout history, dating as far back as the Allagan Empire, and the Fifth Astral Era was no exception. Surviving records detail myriad experimental approaches based not just in healing magicks, but even the forbidden art of necromancy.<br>It would seem this entity was one of countless mages driven by the fear of death to seek eternal life. Yet in exchange for physical resilience, the soul was lost, producing little more than a mindless automaton bent on destroying all living beings.
|-
| id=58|58 || The Index || [[Notes on the Index|Notes]] obtained from a personal spoils coffer after defeating the [[Index]] in {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic}} or {{i|The Forked Tower: Magic (Extreme)}} || [[File:Occult Record 58.png|300px]] || This self-proclaimed "knower of all things" was once ruler of Shades' Triangle. Devoted to preserving the fallen civilizations of the Fifth Astral Era, and with an army of familiars at his command, the archmagus spent ages untold overseeing the Occult Crescent from within its central facility: the Tower of Magic. When intruders breached his chamber, he fought them valiantly, wielding peerless command over the elements and other legendary weapons long sealed, but ultimately met with defeat.
|-
| id=59|59 || The Archive || || [[File:Occult Record 59.png|300px]] || Born late into the War of the Magi and blessed with incredible natural talent, it is said he mastered every skill under the sun and even possessed the ability to see into the past. In his youth, he traveled the realm in pursuit of an end to the war, absorbing a great deal of knowledge along the way. Yet for each moment of beauty that caught his eye, he saw a dozen atrocities. In the end, he grew disillusioned with mankind and chose instead to preserve their sole contribution of value: civilization. So goes the tale as told by his close companion Iris─for the man himself can no longer remember it.
Yet the majority of its contents─simple arcane catalysts, rune-covered relics, spellbound specimens─are the rudimentary materials of a fledgling mage. Was his intention merely to document the genesis of magic in the Fifth Astral Era? Or was it to caution against the path which led mankind to a ruinous war?

==Journal==
* Alisaie appears to have made her decision.

* Alisaie vows to press on, no matter how long it takes or how much it hurts. Speak with Alphinaud next for his decision.

* Alphinaud is eager to continue along the road, and behold more miracles at your side. Speak with Urianger next for his decision.

* Urianger would sally forth with you into the jaws of peril, and see you survive “unto the morrow.” Speak with Y'shtola next for her decision.

* Y'shtola would repay you for all the support you have given her, and implores you to do as your heart decrees. Speak with Thancred next for his decision.

* Thancred seizes upon the chance to express his appreciation for all you have done, and promises to guard your back during the coming battle. Speak with Ryne next for her decision.

* Unlike your fellow Scions, Ryne seems gripped by doubt and feelings of powerlessness. After some encouragement, however, you convince her to trust in the path she has chosen. With your party thus assembled, you turn to face the foreboding doors of the Capitol.

* You enter the Capitol building with your companions and find yourselves face-to-face with [[Emet-Selch]] himself. The Ascian belittles the value of the fragmentary lives which now populate the Source and its reflections, challenging you to prove yourself worthy of his people's legacy. With the gauntlet thrown down and the Exarch awaiting rescue, you steel yourself to wade into the infernal flames of the Final Days of Amaurot.
** ※To enlist your companion NPCs for this duty, speak with them near the entrance or access Duty Support via the main menu. Use the Duty Finder if you wish to complete the instance alongside fellow players.

* You battle your way past terrors made flesh, and arrive at the brink of the star's fiery oblivion.
** ※In the event that you leave the instance, you may re-enter by speaking with the attendant in the foyer of the Capitol.

* Though you survive the tragedy which befell Amaurot, Emet-Selch remains resolutely unimpressed by your efforts. Taking to the field, he brushes aside your comrades' every attack, refuting each argument leveled against him with the same easy contempt. Exhausted from battering yourself against the Ascian's adamant defenses, you are powerless to prevent the Light within from breaking its bonds, and you slump to the ground in agony. Emet-Selch has won.

: But then Ardbert is there at your side, and with his hand at your back, you find the strength to take another step. Emet-Selch's disbelief is compounded as the Exarch appears and intones a spell to bring you further reinforcements. Now enraged beyond measure, the Ascian casts aside his mortal form, and reveals to you his true name─Hades. The final hour─the final conflict─is at hand!
:: ※The Dying Gasp can be accessed via the Duty Finder.

* You wage a titanic battle not only against Hades, but the hopes and dreams of Ascian-kind, of which he is the keeper. In the end, however, your own unwavering conviction brings the ancient being low. You have done a great and terrible thing. Pen the conclusion to this momentous chapter of history, and make your return to the Ocular.

* ''“Remember us...”''

: With all your might behind the throw, the axe of incandescent Light shatters the bound soul of Emet-Selch.

: ''“Remember...that we once lived...”''

: The Ascian's words ring in your ears, even as both Y'shtola and Ryne declare your soul free of the Wardens' taint. You have won.

: After an exhausting swim to the surface, you and your companions are given a hero's welcome by the people of Norvrandt. The Crystarium erupts in celebration, and you enter the city beneath a blessedly clear sky.

* You look on proudly as the Exarch proclaims that the First is saved, and that the Eighth Umbral Calamity no longer threatens the Source. But then a moment of confusion descends as those assembled puzzle over the steward's continued presence. His timeline has supposedly been unmade, yet with the man himself still very much alive, it would seem the summoned Scions are stuck in the First.

: Happy enough to postpone their return if it means the Exarch's life is spared, your comrades urge you to head back alone. Once the portal is prepared, you step through without further hesitation, eager to bring word of your success to Tataru.

* When traversing the rift, the steady beat of time is rendered mutable, and so your unexpectedly early return catches Tataru entirely off guard. The redoubtable secretary swiftly recovers, however, and regales you with what she knows of the situation in the Source. Wishing to confirm the current news from the front line, as well as contact her “surprise” helper, Tataru bids you take your ease for the moment─a brief respite before the ceaseless turning of two tumultuous worlds beckons you once more unto adventure.
'''Alisaie:''' I'm still of the same mind now as I was then. I don't abandon you, you don't abandon me, and together we make a difference in this fight.
'''Alisaie:''' There's always hope if we look for it─I saw it again and again as you tore those veils of Light from the sky.
'''Alisaie:''' If we keep taking that next step forward, there's a chance we'll find a way to save you. So no matter how long it takes or how much it hurts, you can count on me to keep on walking.
===Speaking with Alphinaud===
'''Alphinaud:''' Vauthry spoke of the disaster we would bring upon our own heads. The ceaseless conflict...
'''Alphinaud:''' Imagine how he would sneer to see what's become of the First, not to mention your perilous predicament.
'''Alphinaud:''' And yet who can deny the fire your deeds have ignited in people's hearts?
'''Alphinaud:''' You achieved what my logic and ideals never could: uniting disparate peoples under the banner of hope and common purpose. Without you, that giant Talos would never have raised its head.
'''Alphinaud:''' I have borne witness to many such miracles at your side, and would do so again. This is but another obstacle in the road.
'''Alphinaud:''' So come, let us travel it. Drag me through wonder and danger, as you are wont to do, and I shall endeavor not to slow you down.

===Speaking with Urianger===
'''Urianger:''' As well thou knowest, if we are to usher Emet-Selch unto his rest, we must needs bind his Ascian soul...and then shatter it with overwhelming force.
'''Urianger:''' The former task requireth auracite, and such have I prepared─upon the Exarch's asking, no less, though 'twas ever mine intent to provide said boon.
'''Urianger:''' The future whence our noble friend doth hail is a world fallen to Ascian artifice, and he would not see such grim history repeated.
'''Urianger:''' In a sense, Emet-Selch's destruction will be the culmination of the Exarch's efforts─a reward for all he hath endured these many years.
'''Urianger:''' Yet even as thou stridest into the jaws of peril, forget not but that his fondest wish─and that of many others, besides─is to see thee survive unto the morrow.
'''Urianger:''' 'Tis in pursuit of that happiest of outcomes that I do pledge to remain at thy side.

===Speaking with Y'shtola===
'''Y'shtola:''' Our time in the First has been a never-ending succession of trials, as arduous as our path in the Source ever was.
'''Y'shtola:''' Yet through all our journeys together─through that deep and foreboding wood─you have helped me to stay true to my convictions.
'''Y'shtola:''' Thus would I return the favor. Do as your heart decrees, without hesitation or regret. And that is all I will say on the matter.

===Speaking with Thancred===
'''Thancred:''' Well, this has put everyone in a solemn mood, hasn't it? Honestly, we're not even sure this will be the end of it.
'''Thancred:''' But I suppose we should speak our minds when we have the opportunity. You taught me that much in Amh Araeng.
'''Thancred:''' So forgive me this moment of sentiment, [Forename]. By dragging me into this sorry mess, you've given me the chance to think and act as I should have. For Ryne's sake.
'''Thancred:''' Words cannot express how much this has changed my life, or how grateful I am for your support...
'''Thancred:''' ...So I shall express my gratitude through action instead. No matter where you decide to go, I will be there, guarding your back.

===Speaking with Ryne===
-cutscene start
'''Ryne:''' When Minfilia entrusted me with her power, she warned me that no matter how strong you become, you can still fall victim to despair; you can still feel powerless.
'''Ryne:''' And she was right. After you collapsed on Mt. Gulg, my hands wouldn't stop shaking...
'''Ryne:''' If I made a mistake, if I failed to bind the Light within you... I was terrified you would die.
'''Ryne:''' Even now, you could be moments from turning, and I wouldn't know how to save you!
'''Ryne:''' You, Thancred, the others, you've all been there when I needed help. Minfilia surrendered her ''life'' to me─her legacy.
'''Ryne:''' I should be ready to do the same for you! And I want to, I do! But I just...
'''Ryne:''' ...I'm not good enough.
'''Ryne:''' She told me to follow your example, and I've tried, I've really tried... <sob>

Question: What will you say?

> Then you shouldn't hang your head.
'''Ryne:''' I shouldn't...?

> I'm not asking to be saved.
'''Ryne:''' But the Light, it─ You'll─ How can you go on?
---

Question: What will you say?

> Fate can be cruel, but a smile better suits a hero.
'''Ryne:''' ...
'''Ryne:''' I'm not sure I—
'''Ryne:''' ...Actually, never mind. I think I'll understand better if I try it for myself.

> We must all keep looking forward, like the heroes who never gave up hope for this world.
'''Ryne:''' ...
'''Ryne:''' I'm not sure who you—
'''Ryne:''' ...Actually, never mind. I think the answer might be different for all of us.

> ...
'''Ryne:''' ...I see. If I'm to become what I wish to become, then there are some answers I need to work out for myself.
---

'''Ryne:''' No, nothing will come of brooding here in self-pity. I've made my decision, [Forename]─I'm going with you!
-cutscene end

===Speaking with the Capitol attendant===
'''Capitol Attendant:''' Welcome to the Capitol. All visitors must present an official writ of permission before admittance will be granted.
'''Capitol Attendant:''' Your documents appear to be in order. You may proceed into the Capitol─but any guests you may choose to bring with you must remain in your vicinity at all times.

-voiced cutscene start
'''Emet-Selch:''' This really is unacceptable. I gave you very specific instructions.

'''Alphinaud:''' Emet-Selch!

'''Emet-Selch:''' My invitation was for an abomination, ripe with the power to bring about the world's annihilation.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Not this half-broken...thing. Whatever am I to do with you?
'''Emet-Selch:''' And I see you insist on keeping the same familiar company. Are you so lost without them?

'''Y'shtola:''' It is not ''{{alternatives|f=she|m=he}}'' who is lost without the familiar.
'''Y'shtola:''' Not content with remaking an entire city, you aim to fill it with the reconstituted souls of the dead.

'''Emet-Selch:''' I may have gotten a ''little'' carried away, in my attention to detail. Added a few unnecessary flourishes...
'''Emet-Selch:''' Weeell, there's no point trying to hide it. Yes.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Once the rejoining of worlds is complete, Zodiark will regain His full strength and shatter His prison.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Then we shall offer up the Source's remaining inhabitants in sacrifice, that we might resurrect our brethren who died to bring Zodiark into existence.
'''Emet-Selch:''' But what was it that ''you'' came here to do, exactly?

Question: What will you say?

> We came here to stop you.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Did you now? One last do-or-die attempt to foil my plans before your mind dissolves into madness?
'''Emet-Selch:''' How very, very...heroic of you.
'''Emet-Selch:''' In every single age, there is always someone who wants to stand up to the evil Ascians.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Always the same arrogance, the same insistence that the world belongs to them. As if theirs were the only rightful claim, theirs the only existence worthy of preservation!

> We came here for the Exarch.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Well, you can't have him. The wisdom that man guards may open up new worlds of possibilities.
'''Emet-Selch:''' He has unlocked the secrets of travel across the rift─and through time as well, it would seem. Quite an accomplishment for one of his “incomplete” nature.
'''Emet-Selch:''' I must explore the limits of his capabilities, and harness that power for the Ardor.
---

'''Emet-Selch:''' Even now, after everything, you refuse to see reason.
'''Emet-Selch:''' You think it unfair that you are subject to suffering? That your lives will be sacrificed for the ancients?
'''Emet-Selch:''' Look at me! I have lived a thousand ''thousand'' of your lives!
'''Emet-Selch:''' I have broken bread with you, fought with you, grown ill, grown old! Sired children and yes, welcomed death's sweet embrace.
'''Emet-Selch:''' For eons have I measured your worth and found you wanting! Too weak and feeble-minded to serve as stewards of any star!
'''Emet-Selch:''' Have your recent spats with Vauthry and his sin eaters taught you nothing?
'''Emet-Selch:''' Have you not learned that your ignorance and frailty beget only endless misery?
'''Emet-Selch:''' How long do you mean to perpetuate this farce? How much more must I endure your bumbling interference?
'''Emet-Selch:''' Let us imagine that the laws of reality are again undone, and the world faces true annihilation. Do you honestly believe that half your number would sacrifice themselves to save the other?
'''Emet-Selch:''' Of course they wouldn't!
'''Emet-Selch:''' And if you had witnessed history unfold as ''I'' have, you would reach the ''same'' conclusion!
'''Emet-Selch:''' You cannot be entrusted with our legacy.
'''Emet-Selch:''' I will bring back our brethren. Our friends. Our loved ones. The world belongs to us and us alone.

'''Alphinaud:''' Emet-Selch!
'''Alphinaud:''' We understand. Truly. But it makes no difference.
'''Alphinaud:''' The ones you love are in the past.
'''Alphinaud:''' While ours are here in the present.
'''Alphinaud:''' One day, we too will be ashes and dust, but not today. Our time is not yet finished.
'''Alphinaud:''' We share your conviction...and that is why we will not abandon our course.

'''Emet-Selch:''' You think us the same? You think your tattered soul of equal worth to those ''I lost?''
'''Emet-Selch:''' Then come─''earn'' your place. Prove yourselves ''worthy'' to inherit this star.

''The door opens, revealing a wall of fire.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Behold, the coming oblivion. 'Twas the end of our era, and the beginning of our great work.
'''Emet-Selch:''' A fitting backdrop...for your final judgment.
'''Emet-Selch:''' I shall wait within, but do not spend too much time on your preparations. There's no telling how much longer the guest of honor will last.

''Emet-Selch walks into the fire.''
'''Alisaie:''' I won't ask you to hold back─that time is long past. I'll just try to snuff out the worst of the embers before they reach you.

'''Alphinaud:''' Just say the word, [Forename]. However harrowing the scenes that await us, they will not sway us from our course.

'''Urianger:''' In those Final Days, 'tis said that monstrous beasts were set loose in the city─terrors made flesh by sorceries run rampant.
'''Urianger:''' If Emet-Selch hath been faithful in his reconstruction, then we must be prepared to face many such abominations.

'''Y'shtola:''' I reasoned that Emet-Selch would not harm the Exarch until he had learned the tower's secrets, but his parting words suggest otherwise.
'''Y'shtola:''' Let us make haste. Your friend may not have the luxury of decades to wait for you this time.

'''Thancred:''' Ready when you are, [Forename]. If it's proof he wants, we'll give him a fight the likes of which he's never seen.

'''Ryne:''' I can feel it, beyond the flames...a Darkness waiting to swallow our Light.
====Dungeon dialogue====
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Welcome to the final days of Amaurot...

x@Unnamed Amaurotine A (text bubble): What will become of us...?
x@Unnamed Amaurotine B (text bubble): The end times have come...

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' The fabric of our star began to fray...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' ...and the unchecked energies of creation begat malformed beasts.

'''System:''' Leaving naught in their wake but blood and ash.

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Just as prayer gives rise to primals, our dread made manifest our deepest fears.

'''System:''' Thus did the first doom befall us.

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' The first beast was striking in its unsightliness...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' As if to scour away all life, it called down a cataclysmic deluge.
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Yet even its defeat did not halt the march of oblivion...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' The land buckled; the cities burned; the waters ran red with blood...

'''System:''' For soon did the sun bend low, scorching earth and boiling seas.
'''System:''' Thus did the second doom break us.

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' The beast bellows, and gives birth to terror.<br>A terror which, in turn, gives birth to new beasts...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Its gaze turns skyward, and fiery rain falls from the heavens...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Once the fear has taken root, it cannot be expunged...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' As if feeding upon the horror, the beast bloats...then shivers...then ruptures...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Yet this was far from the worst of it. Come, and I will show you...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Just a little further...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' ...and you will see the end of a world.

'''System:''' Yet it was neither claw nor flame, but our very sins-

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' The star was fading. We saw we had to weave its laws anew...

'''System:''' Stacked to the heavens where they took root, corrupting its halls-

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' But between us and our goal loomed a final misbegotten fiend...

'''System:''' Thus did the third doom undo us.

'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' From the depths of despair, the last harbinger arose...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Its voice was fulgent destruction, and none could stand in its path.
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' And as it edged inexorably closer, we knew...
'''Emet-Selch@The Voice of Emet-Selch:''' Without decisive sacrifice, our star would surely perish.

====Duty Support dialogue====
''Entering the dungeon''
'''Alisaie:''' So much destruction.

'''Alphinaud:''' So, this was their calamity...

'''Ryne:''' It's just too terrible... <br>
'''Thancred:''' Steady, Ryne! Remember: this is only a recreation!

'''Y'shtola:''' I see storms of emotion... The aether here is seething with it.

''Before first boss''
'''Alphinaud:''' Watch where you step! Ware the falling flames!

'''Ryne:''' It's like seeing the stars fall from the sky.

'''Thancred:''' I know the beasts are eye-catching, but keep watch for those meteors!

'''Urianger:''' A city burneth 'neath fiert skies, and calamitous beasts hold sway <br>
'''Y'shtola:''' ...Like the pages of a myth come to life.

''After first boss''
'''Alphinaud:''' This first doom seemed deadly enough not to warrant a second...

'''Ryne:''' Even knowing it's all illusion makes it no less terrifying...

'''Thancred:''' Everyone all right?

'''Y'shtola:''' ...And that was but the first doom they faced?

''Entering the second area''
'''Alisaie:''' The buildings are coming down!

'''Ryne:''' Watch out! We'll be lucky not to get crushed...

'''Thancred:''' There goes a tower! We'll run out of walkway at this rate... <br>
'''Y'shtola:''' Nay, he will make certain we see it all. He wants us to see...

'''Urianger:''' Creation magicks run rampant... 'Tis the stuff of nightmares.

''Continuing through the second area''
'''Alphinaud:''' This is almost too much to witness...but witness it we must.

'''Ryne:''' The Ascians suffered such tragedy... <br>
'''Alisaie:''' Aye, and we'd best keep moving if we're to avoid a similar fate.

'''Thancred:''' Seven hells! These beasts lurk behind every stone!

'''Y'shtola:''' To die by fire, or by fang...

''Before second boss''
'''Alisaie:''' Is this another of these dooms, then?

'''Alphinaud:''' A terror of a different hue...

'''Thancred:''' A man's face on a bird's body... How unsettling. <br>
'''Urianger:''' The form fear taketh is unlike to be pleasing.

'''Y'shtola:''' A creature born of madness...

''After second boss''
'''Alisaie:''' <pant> Was that...the last of them...?

'''Alphinaud:''' <pant> Is it... <pant>...over...?

'''Urianger:''' The beasts are links in a chain of fear...yet we seem to have broken it. <br>
'''Thancred:''' This time, mayhap. I worry we might not outlast the next.

'''Y'shtola:''' These battles test the boundaries of our stamina...

''Entering third area''
'''Alisaie:''' Gods! This place defies understanding!

'''Alphinaud:''' Have we ascended into the heavens themselves!?

'''Ryne:''' I-Is that the star!? The whole world is ablaze... <br>
'''Urianger:''' We perceive the scenes from the heavens, as the Ascians did.

'''Y'shtola:''' Ah, Master Matoya... If only you could see this...

''Before third boss''
'''Alisaie:''' I don't care how monstrous it is! We end this now!

'''Alphinaud:''' The final doom... The largest was saved for last, it seems.

'''Ryne:''' Ignore my trembling! I can fight! I've made my choice...

'''Thancred:''' Ryne! How are you holding up? <br>
'''Ryne:''' I can do this! ''We'' can do this! Together!

'''Y'shtola:''' This is the final doom, yes? Then let us be about defeating it!

====Optional post-dungeon pop-ups====
-optional start
'''Alphinaud:''' We shall not falter! <br>
'''Alisaie:''' Not for despair, nor fate itself.

'''Ryne:''' ''Where'' is Emet-Selch? <br>
'''Thancred:''' Be on your guard. This is wholly his realm.

'''Urianger:''' This is it—the first and final end. <br>
'''Y'shtola:''' The unwinding of life itself...
===Post-dungeon cutscene===
-voiced cutscene start
'''Emet-Selch:''' Well, well, you prevailed...
'''Emet-Selch:''' Nevertheless!

''Emet-Selch knocks down the Scions with dark magic.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Your performance was underwhelming, and I remain unconvinced of your worthiness.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Oh, you tower over your misbegotten ilk, no doubt. But should I bring my full strength to bear, well...you would be as leaves in the wind.
'''Emet-Selch:''' The gulf between us is a reflection of the disparity between the world as it was...and what it has become.

''Alisaie charges at Emet-Selch. She is blocked by a barrier.''

'''Alisaie:''' Our worlds may not live up to your lofty standards...
'''Alisaie:''' But they are ''our'' worlds! ''Our'' homes! Full of life and love and hope!
'''Alisaie:''' And we won't stand by and let you destroy them!

''Emet-Selch knocks back Alisaie.''

'''Alphinaud:''' Alisaie!

'''Emet-Selch:''' You are a mistake.
'''Emet-Selch:''' For we who have known perfection, the shattered Source and these shards are ghastly mockeries of the true world.
'''Emet-Selch:''' The ephemeral lives you exalt are pale imitations, utterly devoid of meaning.

'''Alphinaud:''' Belittle us all you like, but we will rise again and again, and give the lie to your insults through word and deed.
'''Alphinaud:''' We define our worth, not the circumstances of our creation!

'''Emet-Selch:''' Hmph, more prattle.

''Emet-Selch attacks the party with spears of darkness. The player stands up.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Fool. Who are you? No one. ''Nothing''.
'''Emet-Selch:''' Once I have reclaimed my heritage, my first act will be to expunge your stain from history's weave.
'''Emet-Selch:''' My world will have no need for heroes.

''The player limps toward Emet-Selch. They are weakened by the light inside them.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Still fighting the good fight...

''Emet-Selch shoots magic at the player, but Urianger protects them with a barrier. Y'shtola casts a fire spell on Emet-Selch.''

'''Y'shtola:''' It is true that all we hold dear is fated to fade away.
'''Y'shtola:''' But that is no reason for us to forsake it!

'''Urianger:''' To take what steps we may, and thus mark the road for those who would follow.
'''Urianger:''' To strive for the best of all futures... Be this not also thy purpose!?

''Emet-Selch knocks out Y'shtola and Urianger with magic.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Do not presume to speak of ''my'' future!
'''Emet-Selch:''' And ''you''! Why waste your final moments in futile defiance?
'''Emet-Selch:''' Weary wanderer─you've no fight left to fight! No life left to live!

''The player begins to be overcome by the light.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Hah hah hah hah hah! You see! The Light will not be denied!
'''Emet-Selch:''' Surrender to your fate, and let the transformation take you!
'''Emet-Selch:''' Rise up in madness and fury! Devour the vermin infesting the land which is rightfully ours!

''Thancred attacks Emet-Selch. He is blocked by his barrier.''

'''Thancred:''' Now, Ryne! Now!

''Emet-Selch knocks out Thancred and hits Ryne.''

'''Ryne:''' Fight it... You have to hold on!

''Ryne collapses. The player begins turning into a sin eater but sees Ardbert's shade.''

'''Ardbert:''' If you had the strength to take another step, could you do it?
'''Ardbert:''' Could you save our worlds?

Question: What will you say?
> You know I could!
> What, all by myself?
---

'''Ardbert:''' Take it. We fight as one!

''Ardbert joins with the player, interrupting their transformation.''

'''Ardbert@Ardbert (as the player):''' The world is not yours to end...
'''Ardbert@Ardbert (as the player):''' This is our future. Our story.

''Emet-Selch sees Azem's Shade.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' No... It can't be...
'''Emet-Selch:''' Bah, a trick of the light. You are a broken husk, nothing more.
'''Emet-Selch:''' How can you hope to stand against me alone?

'''Crystal Exarch:''' We stand together!

'''Emet-Selch:''' How did─!? ...I'm surprised you can stand at all.

'''Crystal Exarch:''' Champions from beyond the rift, heed my call!
''The Exarch begins a summoning spell for seven other party members.''

'''Emet-Selch:''' Damn you! Damn you all!

Question: What will you say?
> I challenge you, Emet-Selch.
> It ends this day. One way or another, it ends.
---

'''Emet-Selch:''' Very well. Let us proceed to your final judgment.
'''Emet-Selch:''' The victor shall write the tale, and the vanquished become its villain!
'''Emet-Selch:''' But come! Let us cast aside titles and pretense, and reveal our true faces to one another!
'''Emet-Selch:''' I am Hades! He who shall awaken our brethren from their dark slumber!
Hades: You are unworthy!

''Thancred shatters the white auracite and impales Hades with its fragments. The Scions and Ryne channel aether into it, but Hades resists.''

'''Alisaie:''' Still, I did enjoy the carousing while it lasted. Even ''I'' need to forget my cares every now and then.
'''Alisaie:''' What I don't need is to wake up to Alphinaud smirking at my bedside! He said my face was “a rare sight” while I slept. Gods, I hope I wasn't drooling...

'''Alphinaud:''' It would seem that the city celebrated long into the night...not that I would know. As embarrassing as it is to admit, I woke to find myself in the infirmary, having apparently collapsed from exhaustion.
'''Alphinaud:''' My aching pride was somewhat soothed by the sight of Alisaie asleep in the bed next to mine. She must have been just as weary. Long has it been since I've seen her face so peaceful in repose...
'''Alphinaud:''' Ah, 'twas a rare, tranquil morning, made unforgettable by the sight of those clear blue skies.

'''Ryne:''' Oh, [Forename], are you well? No ill aftereffects? To my eyes, you seem completely healed. It really is a miracle...
'''Ryne:''' Speaking of happy surprises, I was amazed to see the crowd that greeted our return! I hadn't realized just how many people we'd met along the way...
'''Ryne:''' And did you see their smiles!? Right then and there, I vowed to do whatever I could to keep that joy from fading!

'''Thancred:''' People came from malms around to join the festivities, but most seem to have stumbled home by now.
'''Thancred:''' Even so, I daresay Norvrandt will echo to the sound of clinking mugs for some while yet.
'''Thancred:''' I thought to indulge in a little revelry myself last night...until Urianger began to list all the names of my drunken conquests. I ended up drinking water. ''Water.''

'''Urianger:''' The ending to this tale hath been a joyous one indeed. Myriad were the lessons learned, yet there is one of particular import...
'''Urianger:''' 'Tis imperative that I master magicks to grant my feet purchase upon the water...or else allow me to part the sea at will.
'''Urianger:''' I must needs visit Bismarck in due course, and scrub his teeth in thanks. Mayhap the airy arts of a faerie whale might be imparted to mortal men...? We shall see. We shall see...

'''Y'shtola:''' I knew the Night's Blessed were amongst the revelers, aye... But the Crystarium was so crowded, I thought it safe to speak my true name.
'''Y'shtola:''' Poor Runar and his ilk were gripped with panic. As you may recall, 'tis customary not to reveal one's true name outside of family and ceremony...
'''Y'shtola:''' Yet when I hurried to explain that all present were like family, I was greeted with an outpouring of tears. <sigh> An emotional people, the Blessed...
'''Crystal Exarch:''' By your deeds has the blinding Light been banished from these skies, and the sin eaters driven to retreat.
'''Crystal Exarch:''' Although our many hurts will be years in the mending, I have faith that this world and her people will one day be whole once more.
'''Crystal Exarch:''' With no Rejoining in prospect, the Source need no longer fear the coming of an Eighth Umbral Calamity.

'''Y'shtola:''' And with that triumph, the future from which you came will no longer come to pass... Yet, here you still stand.

'''Crystal Exarch:''' ...So I do. I wonder if that other age continues onward somehow, cut adrift from time's flow? Or have I simply etched myself a place upon this new block of history?
'''Crystal Exarch:''' Either way, this is an unexpected development.
'''Crystal Exarch:''' As the summoner of your souls, my death was meant to release you back to your world.
'''Crystal Exarch:''' Yet I am very much alive, and you are still stuck here in the First.

'''Alphinaud:''' I believe I speak for us all when I say that we are happy to postpone our return if it means your life is spared. We will seek out another way.

'''Alisaie:''' Besides, I never had any intention of rushing home. There are people here I still need to thank, and this means I might actually have time to do so.

'''Urianger:''' Yet we dare not neglect our comrades in the Source.
'''Urianger:''' Mistress Tataru, to name but one, will be most anxious to know how things stand with us.

'''Thancred:''' So─you'll just have to make the journey alone for the moment. Be sure and give a full report to our fellow Scions, would you? Oh, and we'd also appreciate any news you can bring us from back home.

'''Crystal Exarch:''' Then I see no reason to delay. I can open the path from here.

'''Y'shtola:''' I imagine we each have matters demanding our attention, so let this be a farewell for us all.
'''Y'shtola:''' Send word when you've resummoned our friend.
'''Y'shtola:''' Oh, and do try to ensure {{alternatives|f=She|m=He}} arrives ''within'' the city next time.

'''Crystal Exarch:''' Hah! Of course! I shall strive for utmost accuracy! No strange forests or unplanned passengers, I promise.

'''Ryne:''' I'm a little relieved, to be honest. I would have been terribly lonely if everyone had suddenly disappeared...
'''Ryne:''' But I understand that you have to go. Safe journey, Warrior of Darkness. I hope to see you again soon!

'''Crystal Exarch:''' Just a moment while I attune the portal, then you can be on your way.

'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' When I was a boy, many long years ago...
'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' ...I yearned to stand tall as the heroes of eld.
'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' But like a fool seeking to pluck the stars from the heavens, my every attempt to reprise their deeds fell short...
'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' And then, one day, an all but forgotten dream from my youth stood before me, in the flesh.
'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' A hero who looked to the horizon and beyond, and saw I knew not what.
'''Crystal Exarch@Crystal Exarch (Narration):''' All I knew was that I would give anything to stand at that hero's side.

'''Crystal Exarch:''' Would that it were so easy...
'''Crystal Exarch:''' The glory of the heavens was ever beyond the grasp of those who never thought to reach for it. But if I've gained anything from all of this, it is the courage to stretch out my hand.
'''Crystal Exarch:''' Do you hear me, G'raha Tia? This is no time for sleeping!
System: Meanwhile, in the imperial palace in the Source...

''Estinien, Gaius, and the Shadowhunters notice several dead guards in the palace hallway.''

'''Estinien:''' Hmph.

'''Gaius:''' To the west gate! I want to know what's happening there.

'''Estinien:''' Same as the others─struck down with a single blow. An unfortunate day to draw guard duty.
'''Estinien:''' Forgive me. These were your people.

'''Gaius:''' We took advantage of this slaughter to slip into the palace. 'Tis not for me to grieve them.

'''Varis zos Galvus@???:''' Aaagh!

'''Gaius:''' That was the Emperor!

'''Estinien:''' Wha─ Wait!

''The party enters the throne room. They notice that Zenos has impaled Varis with a katana.''

'''Gaius:''' Your Radiance!

'''Zenos yae Galvus@???:''' Gaius! You've missed your part in this, I'm afraid.

'''Gaius:''' Identify yourself, demon!

'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' You were hoping for the Ascian?
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' The craven shed this skin and fled rather than face me. A pity─I was looking forward to crossing blades with myself.
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' But I cannot deny the feeling of satisfaction...
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' Body and soul, reunited at last!

'''Estinien:''' What now? The game continues, but the pieces have changed.

'''Gaius:''' Only if we trust in a paragon's words─a mistake I do not intend to repeat.

''Gaius charges at Zenos but stops when Varis speaks.''

'''Varis zos Galvus:''' Gaius!
'''Varis zos Galvus:''' He speaks...the truth...
'''Varis zos Galvus:''' Elidibus is gone... Tore a hole into the rift...
'''Varis zos Galvus:''' Zenos... My foolish, greedy son...
'''Varis zos Galvus:''' Was a second life not enough? Was the Empire too rich a prize to ignore?

''Varis removes the blade from his body and breaks it in two, then throws one piece to the ground.''

'''Varis zos Galvus:''' True freedom for our nation─our people─will never be won by a spoiled princeling! The burden of this throne is beyond you.

'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' Hmph. 'Tis you, Father, who have struggled with this burden. Simply holding the Empire together has occupied your limited faculties.
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' But you may take comfort in knowing that I have no intention of pursuing your tedious agenda, nor am I interested in ruling over the Empire's lands.
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' I came only to remove that which ruins my sport. I will not have my prey stolen by your petty wars and cowardly weapons.

''Zenos raises his broken katana.''

'''Varis zos Galvus:''' You would kill me just for that...?

'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' I need no other reason. Any and all who interfere with my hunt...
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' ...will not do so twice!

''Zenos kills Varis, staining Zenos's face with Varis's blood.''

'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' I heard the Ascian speak of Zodiark and Hydaelyn. Even the will of this star is but a construct of our own making...
'''Zenos yae Galvus:''' We shall gorge upon their strength, and then, my friend, our contest shall begin anew.

'''Gaius:''' Zenos!

-cutscene end
'''Son of Saint Coinach:''' Oh, you've returned! Was there a lull in the fighting over there, or...?

'''Alianne:''' Arenvald has taken the lead in our efforts to contain the primals.
'''Alianne:''' He is adamant that we hold the fort, leaving you free to pursue greater matters, and the rest of us could not agree more.

'''Isildaure:''' Welcome, [Forename]. As you can see, nothing of consequence has happened while you were away. You needn't worry for us.

'''Ephemie:''' If you are worried about the Archons' bodies, rest assured all is unchanged and well. We here continue taking turns watching over them.

'''Riol:''' Together with the Eorzean and Eastern alliances, we've been wagin' our war o' subterfuge in the Empire. Thancred's left big shoes to fill, but I try to fill 'em as best I can.
===Speaking with Tataru in the Rising Stones===
-cutscene start
'''Tataru:''' But─ But─ But─!
'''Tataru:''' [Forename]!? Is it really you!?
'''Tataru:''' B-B-But how? When!? We didn't think you'd be back for ages!

Question: What will you say?

> Time moves in mysterious ways.
'''Tataru:''' Right! So it does! The reports you had delivered by that excitable little pixie said as much!

> Would you rather I went again?
'''Tataru:''' Oh, don't be daft! I just can't believe you're actually back!
'''Tataru:''' We heard the good news from your pixie friend, but nothing compares to seeing you in the flesh!
---

'''Tataru:''' As for the situation on this side, the imperials are still eyeing our forces from afar.
'''Tataru:''' From what I'm told, the Garlean armies have been slow to react, and seem reluctant to commit to any large-scale engagements. It's an odd sort of stalemate.
'''Tataru:''' Otherwise, we've yet to see any sign of that awful “Black Rose” weapon we were warned about...
'''Tataru:''' Oh! But I suppose we ''did'' call in an old friend to help out on that count.
'''Tataru:''' Hee hee! Krile and I had a terrible time tracking him down, though it will be worth it to see the look on your face when you find out who it is!
'''Tataru:''' Anyway, I was just about to make contact with this helper of ours, and then confirm the latest news from the front. Might you fancy having a rest while I do?
'''Tataru:''' Ah, the Warrior of Light, back where {{alternatives|f=she|m=he}} belongs, just as if nothing had happened! ...Though you do seem different somehow. You'll have to tell me all about your adventures when we next have a spare moment!
'''Tataru:''' Until then, welcome back!
'''Elidibus:''' Oblivion has claimed him...
'''Elidibus:''' Emet-Selch...gone. Lahabrea...gone. I alone remain─the last of the unbroken.
'''Elidibus:''' Once more, I am moved to reevaluate the potential of these tattered souls.
'''Elidibus:''' Ah, Zenos. Never did I dream you could overpower me so completely, possessed as I was of your body, and all its uncanny strength...
'''Elidibus:''' And now that I have shared with you the truth of this world and its reflections, who can predict how events will unfold? ...Not I.
'''Elidibus:''' “Emissary”... What a poor jest that title has become. The flow of history has become muddied, its currents wild beyond my capacity to direct them.
'''Elidibus:''' You have wrested the advantage, Hydaelyn. The thieving hands of Your disciples tighten their grip on our star.
'''Elidibus:''' The origins of the world remain hidden and its inhabitants ignorant of their broken existence, just as You and Your creators desired.
'''Elidibus:''' They celebrate the gift of imperfect life─uncaring, unknowing as we weaken and fade.
'''Elidibus:''' But do not imagine Yourself rid of us.
'''Elidibus:''' Though Your champion has indeed proven the most egregious obstacle to our ascendance─a barbed thorn in my side─{{alternatives|f=she|m=he}} may yet be removed and cast into the abyss.
'''Elidibus:''' Oh yes...it can be done. I will keep these “heroes” mired in the First, and victory will be ours at the last.
'''Elidibus:''' Warriors of Darkness now, are they? Then their fate is decided.

'''Ryne:''' Yes, there ''is'' something out there...

'''Thancred:''' But it would mean crossing malms and malms of this infernal emptiness. Which is rather unhealthy for living creatures, as I understand it.
'''Thancred:''' Even were we to restrict ourselves to brief forays, I don't like to imagine the effect it would have on our aether...
'''Thancred:''' But...you still want to go. Don't you.
'''Thancred:''' Well, of ''course'' I'm going with you─that's what family is for, isn't it?
'''Thancred:''' Come. Let's head back and prepare for this mad journey of yours.
== Coordinates of vendors in housing districts ==

The coordinates for vendors in subdivisions are different than they are in the main division. For example [[Material Supplier (The Goblet)]] is listed at 10.9,8.9, which is true for the main division, but the subdivsion one is located at 13.5,10.9.
[[File:Example of proposed blue tick on mounts table.png|600px|thumb|An example of how the proposed blue tick might look in context]]

In the interests of allowing the check mark to be easily distinguishable from the red cross ({{No|red}}) by colour-blind people, I'd like to propose that we change the default colour to blue.

Specifically, I'd like to use this image, which I just uploaded: [[File:Tick blue (proposed).png]]. It's based on the existing green tick ([[File:Tick green.png]]) but is much more easily distinguished by most colour-blind people.
What are people's thoughts? --[[User:Sophira|Sophira]] ([[User talk:Sophira|talk]]) 09:43, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
:Note that the mounts table as it currently stands on the [[Mounts]] page does *not* use the red cross, unlike in the example screenshot I uploaded. I believe that using the red cross instead of the grey cross would increase visibility in some cases, but it would heavily reduce visibility for most colour-blind people unless the default tick colour was changed, which is part of my motivation for making this proposal. --[[User:Sophira|Sophira]] ([[User talk:Sophira|talk]]) 09:50, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
Greetings,

There are locations unlisted for Water Crystal gathering points. Specifically, the Ok'Gundu area in the Sea of Clouds (Heavensward). This is an important location because it doesn't require being high enough level or progress for the Level 70 nodes that are the current minimum on the list. I would edit this page to reflect however I have no idea how to edit the "{{Gathering list}}"
Hi!
:Having any pages translated would be beneficial, including for the English wiki (since interlanguage links would link back to us, increasing traffic and furthering SEO). We would just need to 'link' both wikis initially using some sort of code, not sure how that all works. After that, it's simply a matter of placing <nowiki>[[fr:Hydaelyn]]</nowiki> on the [[Hydaelyn]] page, for example.
:If it's a table list of some kind, it's picking stuff up based on page content.
