Paladin, equipped with [[sword]], [[shield]] and heavy armor, is one of the tanking [[jobs|jobs]] of ARR. Paladins have all the [[Gladiator Actions|abilities]] and [[Gladiator Traits|traits]] of [[Gladiator]]s. They can also use all the cross-class abilities of [[conjurer]] and [[marauder]]. The most important [[attributes|stat]] for the paladin is [[vitality]], which increases [[HP]]. The level of your paladin is equivalent to that of your gladiator.

La Noscea is the marine region located in the south-eastern part of [[Eorzea]]. [[Limsa Lominsa]], one of the starting cities, is located in La Noscea.

The maritime metropolis is located in the south of the island Vylbrand that Aldenard precedes in the west, the Gulf of Rhotano.
Their patron deity is Llymlaen, the aerodrome controller, the goddess of seafarers.

Eorzea is the the setting of Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn. It contains the three starting cities: [[Limsa Lominsa]], [[Ul'dah]] and [[Gridania]].

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn takes place in the Seventh Umbral Era. The end of Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 and fall of Dalamund signaled the start of this new Umbral era. Eorzea is said to cycle through prosperous Astral eras and disastrous Umbral eras. Eons ago, Eorzea was ruled by gods and goddesses called The Twelve. They blessed the [[races|wandering tribes]] with riches and prosperity in the First Astral Era. Soon these tribes began to fight one another. These wars not only tore Eorzea apart but also chased away the deities that blessed the tribes. The disappearance of The Twelve ushered in the First Umbral Era.
