*The elder primal Odin has reared his head again. This time, however, Brother O-App-Pesi has devised a strategy to put an end to the Dark Divinity's hunt through the Shroud. He has personally asked for your aid, and has called for you to attend him in Urth's Fount.

*O-App-Pesi wastes no words─you are to head a company of adventurers against the Dark Divinity. The brother and E-Sumi-Yan will behold your battle with Odin from afar in hopes of learning why the primal is never long gone from the Shroud. When you are ready, proceed to Urth's Fount and challenge Odin. ※Urth's Fount can be accessed via the Duty Finder.

Bismarck is a fairly unusual trial in that, for most of the fights player won't actually be damaging the primal itself, but rather dealing with all manner of adds. The fight itself takes place upon a floating rock which has its own separate HP bar, if this bar drops to around 24% then the raid will wipe. Players should also be wary of being knocked off of the edge of the platform. Before beginning the fight players should take note of the shield device, as well as the two harpoons on either side and should nominate a player to man each.

===Phase 1===
The fight begins with Bismarck instantly dealing a damaging blow to the platform as well as spawning two adds. Players should deal with the adds (which can cause knockback) while avoiding any AoEs. Periodically players will see Bismarck do a specific dive animation, this is the signal that the shield device should be activated as Bismarck is about to ram the platform. Failing to activate the shield device, or activating it too early, will lead to an increased amount of damage being taken by the platform.

After a set amount of time a message will appear stating that the harpoons are active, players should activate these as soon as possible, failing to do so will lead to Bismarck disabling them and leading to another cycle. Once both harpoons are active Bismarck will be chained to the side of the platform and its chitin will be targetable. Players can only cause damage to the chitin while physically on Bismarck, though this will also cause a DoT to appear on said players. Players should ideally destroy the chitin in one cycle (although two cycles is fine) as failing to destroy it quick enough will cause Bismarck to pull away and repeat its initial actions (adds, ramming the platform etc.).

===Phase 2===
Once its chitin has been destroyed Bismarck will pull away from the platform again and summon two larger adds. These should be dealt with quickly. At the same time tornadoes will appear, Bismarck will also periodically summon a set of exploding bubbles which players should avoid. After a certain amount of time or after both adds are killed, Bismarck will return and cast a raid wide AoE before once returning to the side of the platform. During this the shield device will also break, essentially setting a harder limit on how long the encounter can last. If any of the adds are still alive, this attack will most likely cause a wipe.

===Phase 3===

This functions largely like Phase 1, although Bismarck will summon four adds and without the shield generator the damage to the island cannot be reduced. With the chitin destroyed Bismarck can now be attacked directly when chained.

[[The Limitless Blue (Extreme)]] is a level 60 [[trial]] that requires a Full Party of 8 players. In the trial, players face [[Bismarck]], the [[primal]] worshiped by [[The Vanu Vanu]]. The Limitless Blue (Extreme) requires the players to have a minimum item level of 165.

==Unlock==
The Limitless Blue (Extreme) is unlocked through the level 60 [[sidequest]] [[The Diabolical Bismarck]]. Players can receive the quest by talking to [[Unukalhai]] in [[The Rising Stones]] (x5,y4). Prerequisite quests are [[Heavensward (Quest)]] and [[Gods of Eld]] which can be obtained at (x11, y11) in the Pillars from Torsefers.

==Strategy==

Before you start the encounter you will need to assign 2 players (usually the healers) to do the cannons, just like in Hard. You should also assign another player (usually a ranged) to do the shield. The shield is only used during Phase 1 and is used at the same time as it is during Hard.

When you are on Bismarck, you gain a stacking debuff that increases the amount of damage done to you while aboard Bismarck. You '''should not''' go over 3 stacks. Unlike on Hard, you must leave Bismarck when he shudders or you'll be thrown off away from the island.

===Phase 1===
This phase is the same as Hard version. Bismarck will start by hitting the island and spawning 2 enemies, a melee and a ranged. DPS down both enemies, they should be killed before you're able to board Bismarck.

When the Dragonkillers are ready to be fired, use them and board Bismarck. In order to meet the DPS requirement, you should be killing the carapace the first time.

* Kill adds
* Use cooldowns on Carapace

===Phase 2===
This is the major DPS check part of the fight. The two dragons So'Suwa and Ul'Sanuwa will spawn. They must be tanked away from each other.

Tornadoes and AoE will also spawn, avoid these.

Both enemies will do an ability called '''Dead Wind''' and '''Dead Water''' that is raid-wide AoE and applies 1 of 2 debuffs to each player. The debuff will apply to 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 dps. Look at the colour of your debuff and attack the enemy with the opposite colour. As with Hard version, you do NOT need to kill these at the same time, instead you are given a strict amount of time to kill them. You should use LB1 to help you down them.

The debuff on the tanks may also change, so they need to get ready to provoke and swap places with the other tank if needed. The enemies should not move in order to maximize DPS.

* Blue buff = Will of the Water, attack green enemy.
* Green buff = Will of the Wind, attack blue enemy.
* Dodge tornadoes and AoE.
* Use LB1 when you have it.
* Tanks need to swap places if their debuff changes.
* They will do 3 Dead Wind/Water until Bismarck does his Ultimate.

===Phase 3===
This phase will repeat until either Bismarck is down or the Island is destroyed. There is no shield in this phase.

Three enemies will spawn, two small adds from Phase 1 and a bigger add called ''Nai'maii Vendu''. There are 2 tactics to doing this phase.

====Tactic 1====
* Kill the range add first
* Kill the melee add second (small add)
* Do as much damage on Nai as possible until you can board Bismarck.

====Tactic 2====
* Kill Nai first
* Kill range add second
* Damage melee add as much as possible until you can board Bismarck.

My group personally preferred Tactic 2, but either is fine. The tank and a healer should stay on the Island to dps down the remaining enemy while everyone else is damaging Bismarck.

* If Nai is still alive after boarding Bismarck, he will run to the center and do an AoE every 10 seconds that damages the island, it is important to kill him before he can do this too much.

====Weather Mechanic====
Just like in Hard, there is a weather mechanic during Phase 3.

*'''Wind''': Clouds will be a dark yellow and it will be raining. There will be an AoE knockback from the center of the island. All players should run to the center or they will be knocked off, then run back to the center for an AoE covering the island except the center.

Trials are encounters where adventurers fight together against extremely powerful creatures. Each trial consist of a single boss fight (a few are broken up into two parts). When the boss is defeated, players are rewarded with story progression, tokens or rare items of sorts. Some trials require a [[Party#Light Party|light party]] of 4 players while others need a [[Party#Full Party|full party]] of 8. Most trials after Level 50 are unlocked first as Hard Modes by progressing through the main story quests; with their upgraded Extreme Mode available through side quests.

[[The Void Ark]] is a level 60 [[raid]] released in patch 3.1. It is the first 24-player raid of [[Heavensward]] expansion. Void Ark requires the players to have item levels of 175 or higher. The raid composition is 3 tanks, 6 healers and 15 DPS (1:2:5 ratio).

'''Rewards''': Player can receive 1 piece of [[#Loot|loot]] per week. In addition to loot, players can receive a [[Mhachi Farthing]] as separate completion reward once per week. ===Cetus===
This fight is a simple DPS check. Cetus will randomly drop bubbles that create small persistent aoes on the ground. It will also cast body slam in a random area, has a room wide electric aoe where you must be in close proximity of Cetus to avoid damage. During the fight, Cetus will spawn adds, take them down. It will also spawn smaller adds with a long range aoe charge which the targeted raid member should go into melee range to prevent damage to other members. As these adds are up Cetus will fly across the map dropping large aoe bubbles that deal massive damage and knock back. Near the end of the fight Cetus fly into the middle of the map, stun everyone and pull half the raid party into the middle. It will create an impassable wall and spawn four adds that are linked to it's core in the middle. The raid members will have a timer to destroy all the adds outside and the one inside or else they will KO.

===Forward Port Ventilator===
Each group will take one of the buttons, and attack the adds on either side. Prioritize the Pagan's Knots first, and clear other adds as you can. If the Knots take too long to die, they will put poison in the air. You can clear this standing on the buttons. Do not stand on the buttons when there is static or you will die.

===Irminsul and Sawtooth===
This fight is a little confusing for first timers, one tank has to hold Irminsul, and another holds Sawtooth. The soil will shift during the fight under the adds, kill the adds before they are consumed, or move them away. If they are consumed the boss will get points and if it reaches the max amount, the party will wipe. Avoid being eaten, you will become infected with a plant, if you are infected it will become hard to control your character, and it will attempt to infect everyone close by with a short cone aoe. Irminsul does a circle aoe and Sawtooth occasionally swings it's tail. Random raid members will be marked with a yellow circle with a large aoe radius around them, they will tether and bind nearby raid members and make them unable to perform actions, break this by having unaffected raid members run through the tethers. Sawtooth will have red electricity around it and begin casting a long spell, everyone MUST go behind Irminsul AWAY from Sawtooth's line of sight to avoid damage, as it is a KO ability.

===Cuchulainn===
Cuchulainn has multiple mechanics for his fight. Everyone will have a non-curable bleeding debuff. First, you want to stay behind him because he will cast corrosive bile which deals a moderate amount of AOE damage in front of him. He will then spawn five statues that raise the bleeding stack to 5, if not destroyed in time they will explode. Destroying them will also reduce the bleeding stack back to 1. He will also throw out a large poison circle aoe, it's best to not stand on the raised platforms because of this. He will turn the ground green and then you must stand on a raised platform to avoid extreme damage. He will spawn Slime adds on the platforms, and attempt to eat them. Do not let him consume them. Whoever has hate can pull the mobs away from his cone aoe. If he consumes an add he gains a stacking Damage Up buff. After this phase he will cast a room wide aoe, healers need to prepare aoes because it deals moderate damage. He will also slam his tentacles on the ground and you have to be in between the tentacles to avoid corruption damage and a knock back. He will cast black lung until the battle ends, which in addition to increasing the stack on the bleeding debuff is an aoe and spawns orbs. Members have to collect all the orbs or they will explode and bind everyone.

===Echidna===
This is a very straightforward fight. She has a cleave and a circle aoe around her called "Abyssal Sickle." She will then jump on the air and target a random raid member with a large grey AOE circle with arrows pointing to the member. Everyone has to group up onto the targeted member to reduce the damage they will take. She will also cast a room wide petrifying aoe, to avoid it, look away from her. She also casts two rectangular line aoes with gaps in between and to the opposite sides of them. She will jump into the air and creates multiple large circle aoes which deals massive damage if caught.

Around 70% and 40% she splits into three, each mob will target a tank from each raid party. It is good to set waymarks in opposite sides of the map to avoid their tether, which creates a stacking defense if they are too close to each other. The main body part will also cast the petrifying aoe. If you do not kill them in time the party will wipe. She also spawns adds twice throughout the fight.

==Walkthrough==
Equip the imperial clothes and talk to [[Cid]]. After the cutscene you will be inside the imperial base. 
There you just have to perform an '''/imperialsalute''' to 3 imperial soldiers(the ones specified by the quest) and again an '''/imperialsalute''' to the centurion; 
You'll get a key from the centurion which you will have to give it to [[Biggs]] near the gate. 
The gate will unlock and next you have to go to the steel door where your friends are. 
'''Before''' examining the steel door, switch the imperial clothes with your armor as a fight will happen after triggering the door. 
As soon as the fight starts you should quickly untie both to make the fight easier. Focus on the mages first and it should be a breeze.

*Cid awaits confirmation of your readiness to undertake the rescue mission.

*After much painstaking preparation, the time has finally come to infiltrate Castrum Centri and rescue your fellow Scions. Don your imperial pot helm and short robe, and proceed to the rendezvous point east of the stronghold.

*You have succeeded in entering the castrum undetected. Next, you must gather information on where your comrades are being held. Approach three imperial soldiers and greet each with a disarming /imperialsalute.

*Based on what you have learned, Minfilia and the others are being held within the storage tower. Accessing this tower requires a special identification key, which you must somehow obtain from the imperial centurion. Approach the forbidding fellow and win his good opinion with a perfectly executed /imperialsalute.

*Through deft use of the magic word, you succeed in convincing the centurion to loan you his identification key. Biggs will know what to do with it.

*Using the identification key, you have gained access to the sector in which the storage tower stands. Enter the tower via the steel gate, and set your friends free.

*Though the rescue mission was a success, the shocking revelation that Thancred has been possessed by Lahabrea has cast a dark pall over the Scions. Painful though this blow may be, you have no choice but to take it on the chin and forge on for the sake of Eorzea.

*You have safely arrived in Ul'dah. Speak with Minfilia to learn her mind.

*None can say how the Alliance leaders may respond to the threat posed by the Ultima Weapon, but Minfilia is certain of one thing: so long as it exists, Eorzea shall never know peace.
