Journal
*G'raha Tia is mulling over what you have learned of Wuk Lamat and her plan.
*While Wuk Lamat awaits your answer to her invitation, G'raha Tia suggests taking some time to learn more about your potential destination. So it is that you make your way to Noumenon, there to find information on the continent of Tural.
*From treatises on cuisine to essays on geopolitics, you read a wide selection of books and gain an insight into various aspects of Tural. Duly enlightened, you go to rejoin G'raha Tia and share your discoveries.
*As you and G'raha Tia trade notes, you are joined by Alphinaud and Alisaie, who have come to Noumenon in search of hints on how Garlemald might engage with her neighbors. Upon hearing of Tuliyollal, a nation composed of myriad disparate tribes, Alphinaud believes it to be precisely the example they seek. Alisaie, however, is apparently not satisfied with merely reading, and immediately goes off to make new plans, leaving her brother chasing after her. With your research concluded, you and G'raha Tia turn your steps back to The Baldesion Annex.
*You are about to enter the annex when G'raha Tia asks if you mean to accept Wuk Lamat's request. While acknowledging that the journey will not be without hardships, he is nonetheless excited for the opportunities that await in Tural, and you take his advice to heart. Your friend then suddenly conceives of an idea, and excuses himself while you continue on inside.
*Ojika Tsunjika informs you that Wuk Lamat is currently with the others in her chambers. The administration officer offers to fetch them for you and bids you wait in the main hall.
*Wuk Lamat prompts you for your answer, and you duly give it: you will aid her in the ritual of succession. Yet you are far from the only one, for Alphinaud and Alisaie soon arrive and express their desire to help as well. Wuk Lamat happily welcomes the twins into the fold before also volunteering a none-too-eager Erenville to her cause, while G'raha Tia, noticing Krile's indecision, convinces her to seize the opportunity to visit Tural. Thus is your team assembled, and you fix your gaze upon your distant destination.
*Now that the journey is decided, all that remains is to prepare for the moment of departure. What manner of trials awaits on the shores of Tural, you know not, but your heart swells with anticipation at the promise of a grand new adventure.

Dialogue
Talking to G'raha Tia:

G'raha Tia: Well, I daresay we now have a fair grasp of Wuk Lamat's situation.
G'raha Tia: Still, you've been afforded time to consider her invitation. Why not use it to learn more about Tural? Noumenon is bound to have some information on the continent.

What will you say?

> It certainly wouldn't hurt to be better informed.
G'raha Tia: Quite right. Not only would it help you to make an informed decision, but if you do choose to go, you would be better prepared for what awaits.

> Just the thought of burying myself in books is making me feel sleepy...
G'raha Tia: We're talking about mysterious lands and unknown wonders here! I'm confident we'll find reports so thrilling as to drive any thoughts of napping from your mind.

G'raha Tia: Come, my friend. Let us be off to the archives.

Reading the books in Noumenon:

Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: The origins of blue magic can be traced back to the esoteric practices of the Whalaqee, a tribe in the distant continent of Tural.
Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: The tribe holds nature in the highest, and in seeking to cultivate a spiritual connection with it, they have learned to harness the power of the wildlife around them.
Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: In exchange for teaching them the common tongue, I was permitted to live among them and train in their ways. Those days were some of the most grueling I remember, but they were tremendously rewarding.
Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: For instance, I had the privilege of visiting Lapis Canyon, the tribe's sacred grounds. It is so named for the ceruleum deposit that wells up to the surface, turning the entire canyon a brilliant blue.
Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: Under a shaman's watchful eye, I finally managed to master the Whalaqee's art and make the animals' powers my own. As no name existed for it in the common tongue, I took the liberty of naming it blue magic.
Principles of Blue Magic and Spell Acquisition: The reason I chose this color, as you will have doubtless gleaned, is for the significance it holds to the Whalaqee. I cannot think of a name more fitting to honor the people from whom this noble magic was born.

Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: Let us begin by comparing the geographical characteristics of the Three Great Continents and Tural. The former stretches from east to west, and lies entirely within the northern hemisphere.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: In contrast, the latter extends to the far reaches of both northern and southern hemispheres, and a difference immediately presents itself in the form of climate variance.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: Shifts in climate tend to be gentler when moving east and west, but harsher when moving north and south. Owing to this fact, longitudinal migration is far more common in history, whether it be by men, animals, or plants.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: A case in point is the Allagans, who rose to power in Aldenard before advancing east into Ilsabard. Their movement would be mirrored thousands of years later by the Garleans.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: Meanwhile, although the disparate tribes of Tural waged war with one another for generations, stymied by the climate, none could make any great headway north or south.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: Tribes hailing from frozen lands withered beneath the desert sun, while those that thrived in open plains could not pierce dense jungle. Such was the way of it─until the leader of the Mamool Ja succeeded in bringing the continent under one banner.
Lines in the Sand: The Geopolitics of Hydaelyn: Given the land's divided history and the reason thereof, one cannot help but be in awe of this feat. Truly, it is a testament to the Autarch's greatness.

The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Every land has given rise to unique wildlife, and the continent of Tural is no exception. Yet while some of her creatures have become a familiar sight in Eorzea, many and more exist that are rarely seen this side of the Indigo Deep.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: This tome introduces a select variety of species as described in the testimonies of sailors and adventurers.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Alpaca<br>Accustomed to Tural's craggy mountain ranges, this four-legged beastkin has been domesticated for seemingly hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Their soft, white fleece is highly prized by weavers, while their strong legs and sure-footedness make them capable beasts of burden.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Wivre<br>This ferocious scalekin is native to the dense jungles of Tural. The Mamool Ja have succeeded in taming them and utilize their prodigious strength for manual labor.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Given their immense size and power, it should come as no surprise that the wivre is also employed as a siege beast. Enemy fortifications cannot long withstand this horned brute's rampage.
The Flora and Fauna of Tural: Valigarmanda<br>Turali folklore holds that this birdlike creature is the mightiest of beasts and the very embodiment of nature's power. Whether it exists beyond myth, however, is uncertain.

Eorzean Cuisine: A History: It is impossible to adequately discuss Eorzean cuisine without speaking of that land from which many of our modern-day staples hail: the far-western continent of Tural.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: Ogre pumpkins, ruby tomatoes, even the ubiquitous popoto─these crops and more that regularly grace Eorzean dining tables trace their origins to the “New World,” as the place is known to most.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: The tale of this culinary immigration begins in the year 1498 of the Sixth Astral Era, when a Lominsan sailor named Ketenramm successfully traversed the Indigo Deep to arrive at the theretofore unknown continent.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: Ketenramm spent several moons exploring inland, in the course of which he encountered the denizens of the sprawling nation of Mamool Ja. He was even granted an audience with their supreme leader, whose confidence he won along with permission to roam freely.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: Ketenramm would return to Tural several times, but during his first expedition he charted the land and gathered myriad root vegetables and seeds to bring back to Limsa Lominsa.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: The most notable of these was the popoto, whose ease of cultivation and nutritional value saw it quickly spread to all corners of Eorzea.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: Produce was far from the only bounty of Ketenramm's expeditions to Tural. Many tantalizing recipes such as the bean-filled burrito and gripping legends such as that of the golden city reached our shores by way of his ship.
Eorzean Cuisine: A History: To those outside of Ketenramm's circle, Tural largely remains shrouded in mystery, yet its influence on our cuisine cannot be overstated. Many scholars─myself included─would relish the chance to immerse themselves in the culinary culture of that faraway continent.

Talking to G'raha Tia:

G'raha Tia: Scoured the library to your satisfaction, have you? Excellent.
G'raha Tia: While there are few books wholly dedicated to the subject of Tural, I daresay you've found tidbits of useful information scattered here and there.
G'raha Tia: But come, let's continue this outside. The mammets do not take kindly to chatter.

Cutscene:

G'raha Tia: Now then, I'm quite keen to hear your honest impressions.
G'raha Tia: I couldn't help but notice that we read the very same book on cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised to find references to Tural within.
G'raha Tia: Among them, did anything in particular pique your interest?

What will you say?

> I was rather taken with the tale of Ketenramm.
G'raha Tia: Ah yes, the renowned Lominsan explorer who traversed the Indigo Deep and discovered the unknown west!
G'raha Tia: And his accomplishments didn't end there. He traveled Tural extensively, and even forged a friendship with the Dawnservant.
G'raha Tia: If we were able to meet Ketenramm, what things we could learn. Alas, all of this happened nigh four score years ago, and he may no longer be alive to tell his tales...

> Popotoes─I have a newfound appreciation for them.
G'raha Tia: As have I. Despite having just enjoyed a hearty meal, I found myself craving popotoes.
G'raha Tia: As they keep well, they were a boon to sailors, and it was that same property that allowed them to survive the voyage to Eorzea.
G'raha Tia: The book also mentioned a method of preservation which sees popotoes repeatedly frozen and dried. The resultant product was apparently used in a stew by people in mountainous regions. I should like to sample that dish one day─that and all the unique cuisines of that vast continent.

> The legendary city of gold!
G'raha Tia: Hah! I suspected any mention of the city of gold would catch your eye. 'Tis truly a mystery among mysteries.
G'raha Tia: Here is a city whose location is unknown, that no one has ever seen. And yet whispers of its existence continue to persist.
G'raha Tia: Countless souls have set off in search of it, never to return. I can imagine it being a suitable challenge for the ritual of succession.

G'raha Tia: But moving on, did you perchance learn aught about the fauna of Tural? Given your adventuring background, I expect the topic would interest you.

What will you say?

> I learned about alpacas.
G'raha Tia: Ah yes, the alpaca. In addition to serving as beasts of burden, they provide clothing for people by way of their lush fleece.
G'raha Tia: They are especially prized by mountain tribes, who hold certain rare specimens sacred.

> I learned about wivres.
G'raha Tia: Ah, yes. The great horned beasts kept by the Mamool Ja, who unleash them on fortified positions to devastating effect.
G'raha Tia: That reminds me. I recall hearing that a few specimens were brought to Vylbrand not long ago. Perhaps it's possible to see them on the island.

> I learned about Valigarmanda.
G'raha Tia: Now why do I get the impression you're imagining pitting your skills against the fell beast?
G'raha Tia: Unfortunately, I found scant details on your would-be prey. One source simply described it as an “enormous, winged creature with scales hard as steel that rules the skies.” I should like to see it with my own eyes─presuming it even exists.

Alisaie: I thought I heard familiar voices.
Alisaie: Fancy running into the two of you here.

Alphinaud: Aye, we hope to arm ourselves with knowledge that may benefit the Garlean people.
Alphinaud: Having forged a new trade agreement with Radz-at-Han, they will next look to foster relations with other nations. This includes former imperial provinces.
Alphinaud: In view of this, we hope to find hints in history on how neighbors of differing races and ideologies might engage with one another.
Alphinaud: And what of the two of you? What endeavor brings you here this day?
Alphinaud: A nation composed of the disparate peoples of Tural...
Alphinaud: I daresay this is precisely the kind of example we seek. We'd do well to read up on Tuliyollal ourselves.

Alisaie: The contest─is Forename the only one allowed to help Wuk Lamat?

G'raha Tia: There was no mention of such restrictions, as I recall. On the contrary, Wuk Lamat gave us the impression that she could have several champions.

Alisaie: I think I know how to make the most of our respite. Follow me, Alphinaud! We have planning to do!

Alphinaud: A-Alisaie! Wait!
Alphinaud: <sigh> 'Twould seem our plans have changed. If you'll excuse me...

G'raha Tia: They never could rest on their laurels...
G'raha Tia: Come, let us return to the annex.

Talking with G'raha Tia (voiced cutscene):

G'raha Tia: Oh, it's just... Despite all that we've learned, I can't help but feel we've yet to hear the whole story...
G'raha Tia: What about you, my friend? Are you inclined to accept or refuse Wuk Lamat's request?

What will you say?

> I never say no to a new adventure!
G'raha Tia: Hah, I thought you might say that.
G'raha Tia: With an intrepid attitude such as yours, I believe all shall be well.
G'raha Tia: Be it the contest or something else, there will be many trials for you to overcome at your destination.
G'raha Tia: But in the course of seeing new lands and meeting new people, you'll surely find a way forward. That's what adventurers do, is it not?

> I'm still undecided, to be honest.
G'raha Tia: I don't blame you. No matter the assurances, it's no simple thing to wade into the midst of a political struggle, and in a foreign land at that.
G'raha Tia: How about this, then. Instead of deciding here, go there first and then decide.
G'raha Tia: In the course of seeing new lands and meeting new people, you'll surely find a way forward.
G'raha Tia: That's what adventurers do, is it not?

> I'd rather not get involved in politics.
G'raha Tia: If only others had the same good sense.
G'raha Tia: If the prospect troubles you so, why not consider what you stand to gain instead? That is, an exciting journey to a faraway continent.
G'raha Tia: In the course of seeing new lands and meeting new people, you might find yourself moved to help Wuk Lamat after all. And if not, well...you quietly take your leave.
G'raha Tia: A brazen plan, perhaps, but one that befits a veteran adventurer, you must agree!

G'raha Tia: Such a journey would be the envy of many a scholar. Distant as it is, Tural remains largely unknown to us, with only meager records to be found in Noumenon.
G'raha Tia: The experiences to be had─all the things you might hear, feel, and think... It's enough to stir me to the core.
G'raha Tia: Life is a series of journeys, my friend, and there's no telling what awaits us on the long road.
G'raha Tia: But what's important is to be true to yourself as you walk it.
G'raha Tia: Only then can we hope to be content when we arrive at the end of one─and step forward into another.
G'raha Tia: Ah, but there's an idea!
G'raha Tia: I have a matter to attend to at the Agora. Please go on inside─I will join you shortly.

Talking with Ojika Tsunjika

Ojika Tsunjika: Welcome back, Forename. If you're looking for Wuk Lamat, she is currently with the others in her chambers.
Ojika Tsunjika: If you like, I can go and fetch them for you?

System: Have Ojika fetch everyone? [yes/no]

Ojika Tsunjika: Understood! Please wait in the main hall.

Interacting with the destination (voiced cutscene):

Wuk Lamat: You have the look of someone who's made up their mind. Go on then, let's hear it.

What will you say?

> I wish to boldly go where I've never gone before!
Wuk Lamat: Then you need me as much as I need you. Together, we'll blaze new trails in Tural!

> I've never been one to turn down an adventure. I'll do it.
Wuk Lamat: Excellent! You'll be compensated for your troubles, of course, but I daresay your time in Tural will be its own reward!

Alisaie: You're not planning to leave without us, are you?

Krile: Alphinaud! Alisaie! What are you two doing here?

G'raha Tia: We happened to cross paths at Noumenon earlier, you see, and I told them about Wuk Lamat.
G'raha Tia: And when we fortuitously met again at the Agora just now, they expressed an interest in meeting our visitor.

Wuk Lamat: Ah, you must be the twins who were sneaking after Erenville as toads!

Alisaie: A hundred things about us you could have told her, and you chose that!?

Erenville: First impressions last.

Alphinaud: 'Tis an honor and a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Your Highness. Alphinaud Leveilleur, at your service, and this is my sister, Alisaie.

Wuk Lamat: Oh, no, let's not do that. I really can't stand titles.
Wuk Lamat: So. You want to participate in the contest too, is that right?

Alphinaud: Indeed we do.
Alphinaud: We've been assisting with the rebuilding effort in Garlemald. Yet while progress is being made, the question remains of how the nation might reconcile with its neighbors.
Alphinaud: We believe there is much we might learn from Tuliyollal, a nation founded on unity. And in return for this honor, we would spare no effort in supporting your claim.

Wuk Lamat: The more the merrier, I say. And I'd be keen to learn about Eorzea and Garlemald from you as well.

Erenville: Having recruited so many committed and capable allies, I presume you have no need for my continued assistance.

Wuk Lamat: Nonsense! Like I told you before, you're indispensable.
Wuk Lamat: They're strong, aye, but strangers to our land. They need someone to guide them─to point out the dangers and spare them grisly deaths.
Wuk Lamat: I can't think of anyone better suited to that task than you. What's more, despite your assertions, I know you haven't given up on the city of gold.

G'raha Tia: As I recall, Krile, you were the first to state your desire to visit Tural.

Krile: Perhaps I was...
Krile: Still, I can't help but worry about being away just when our order is beginning to find its feet again.

G'raha Tia: You have nothing to worry about.
G'raha Tia: I haven't forgotten how you held the fort while I set off to explore Alzadaal's Legacy; it's only fair that I return the favor. Pray leave the Students to Ojika and me.

Krile: But Raha...

G'raha Tia: You want to retrace your grandfather's steps, don't you? This is a rare opportunity, and I insist that you seize it!

Krile: Thank you, Raha. Thank you.

Wuk Lamat: Well, looks like it's settled! I'm counting on you all to help me win the throne!

G'raha Tia: I suppose now is a good time to show you what I spent a small fortune on at the Agora.
G'raha Tia: There!

G'raha Tia: This, my friends, is the latest map of the world, created to celebrate our friendship with the Loporrits. Cast your eyes west of Sharlayan, for there it lies...
G'raha Tia: The site of your next great adventure─Tural!
Speaking with Ojika Tsunjika:

Ojika Tsunjika: Lest you wonder about your passage to Tural, Erenville will arrange a ship through his guild. You need only worry about your own preparations.
Ojika Tsunjika: Speaking of which, please take this with you─a rugged and ready knapsack! May it serve you well on your coming adventures!
Ojika Tsunjika: Now, I'm not sure when departure will be, but rest assured I'll let you know when I hear something. Till then, please take your ease!

Post-Credits Voiced Cutscene 1:

Estinien: When does the next ship set sail?

Rhetkympf: May I ask your destination?

Estinien: The north and east, I've already seen...
Estinien: I suppose I'll head west this time.

Rhetkympf: “West,” you say...

Urianger: But to think that our comrades, too, are thither bound... Fate doth work in mysterious ways.

Thancred: Indeed. It will be a grueling task, having to contend with them.

Urianger: If the prospect doth trouble thee, 'tis not too late to decline the petition.
Urianger: ...Though thine expression would suggest thou art far from perturbed.

Thancred: Oh, how could I possibly be, knowing what's to come?

Urianger: Then let us delay no further, and secure passage on a vessel.

Thancred: Aye, this will be a mission to remember.

Thancred: Come, my friend! We make for Tural!
Emet-Selch: Or the treasure islands beyond the frozen waters of Blindfrost, in Othard's north?
Emet-Selch: The fabled golden cities of the New World?
*Y'shtola has the look of a woman satisfied with her work.
*Not long after you and your comrades notify the Forum of your mission's success, Y'shtola receives a linkpearl call from Nidhana, who informs her that a great feast will be held in Radz-at-Han to celebrate Azdaja's homecoming. The members of your party are naturally invited, but before you can make your way to Thavnair, you must deliver the memoria crystal containing Zeromus's aether to your friends in the First.
*Upon arriving in the Crystarium, you present yourself to the sentry at the Dossal Gate. The man directs you to the Ocular while he goes to find Lyna and Beq Lugg.
*While they were already well aware of your triumph, your friends are no less happy to hear your personal account, having been glad to play a role in protecting the Source. They are further delighted and intrigued when you entrust to them the memoria crystal and explain Zero's idea of using it to restore balance to the First. While there is no telling if it will be possible, Beq Lugg and Ryne resolve to do their utmost to try.
*Lyna had faith that you would be victorious in the end, and she is equally certain that the people of Norvrandt will cheer when they learn the Warrior of Darkness managed to save his/her home. She assures you that they will continue the work they've begun, and so secure in the knowledge that the fortunes of the First will surely improve, you return to the Source that you may join the celebration in Radz–at–Han.
*You arrive in time to partake of a sumptuous feast at Mehryde's Meyhane. Having had your fill, you step aside for a moment's respite and find Estinien doing likewise. The dragoon takes the opportunity to inquire as to your future plans, and when you struggle to answer, he assures you that you will know when the time is right. The two of you are then joined by Y'shtola, who muses that her coming days will be spent compiling theories on cross-rift travel. But when she turns to ask after Estinien's plans, you find that he has already silently taken his leave─as is his wont.
*Y'shtola thanks you for everything you've learned and accomplished─to have been a part of something so momentous─before taking her leave. Alone once more, you heed her suggestion and make your way to Meghaduta, there to call on Vrtra.
*You find Vrtra in the form of Varshahn, who explains that he has assumed the guise to readily escort his sister Azdaja about Radz-at-Han. Long has he dreamed of showing her his beautiful city, a glittering jewel born of unity, and he intends to relish every moment of it. The happiness in his words warms your heart, and fills your breast with pride for the part you played in reuniting siblings separated across worlds and millennia. And though Darkness yet reigns in the void, the spark of hope has been rekindled, instilling you with faith that, one day, life-giving Light will shine there once more.

Cruise Chaser
Phase 1:
* Occasionally, OT has to pick up the flying add (E.D.D.), it must die or it will self-destruct.
* Optical Sight: A few different modes.
** The first will target four players with a green AoE circle (make sure not to stand in overlapping circles).
** The second will create a giant light circle in the middle of the room. Move to the outer ring to avoid it, or take damage and get a vulnerability up Vulnerability Up debuff.
** The third will have smaller light circles appear around the room in a clockwise manner until they connect, then one will appear in the middle. Wait in the middle until you have room to go in the outer ring where one already went off.
* Photon: 4 players will drop critically low. Just heal up.
* Propeller Wind: Ensure you're behind one of the round objects or else you take damage and get Confused (it can be removed with Esuna).
* GA-100: Targets the OT, will hit for good damage against OT and AoE damage to rest of the party. Less party damage the further the AoE travels.
* Partway through the fight (around 50%), Cruise Chaser will teleport to the center, cast a knockback, become untargetable and transform into his flying form. You <big>MUST</big> click on one of the four ducts around him or die. During the cutscene ensure you click the button next to the red progress bar before it runs out to avoid severe damage.

Phase 2:
* Limit Cut: Cruise Chaser glows red and gains Immune.
** If you didn't do enough damage before the phase change, four Lapis Lazuli Orbs will spawn and Cruise Chaser will cast Limit Cut. Just dps the orbs.
* Eternal Darkness: Room-wide AoE damage (lots of AoE heals), and the room will now have a bleed. If any Lapis Lazuli Orbs are still alive when this goes off, you wipe.
* Optical Sight now has flying mech adds that are untargetable. These will shoot line AoEs when Cruise Chaser uses Optical Sight that will most likely result in death.
* Cruise Chaser will cast Limit Cut and spawn a Plasma Shield. You need to be in front of the shield to damage it.
** Cruise Chaser will rush the MT after the shield is destroyed or a certain amount of time passes.
* After the shield Cruise Chaser will cast Optical Sight, then mark a party member (usually dps) with Prey. Optical Sight and Prey will usually go off at the same time.
* Prey: Three large AoE attacks on the target. Healers need to heal through this and should throw on shields before.
* The dark-robed voidsent is willing to provide you with the information you seek─for a price. In this world, she explains, no one aids another unless they themselves stand to gain. The bargain is struck with an offer of aether, and you make your way outside the dungeon for a lesson on the void.

* There was once Light here in the Thirteenth, but a terrible conflict known as the Contramemoria shattered the balance of aether, causing Darkness to engulf the world. Thus was all life transformed into voidsent. The dark-robed voidsent, however, is voidsent only in part, on account of having been touched by Darkness while still in her mother's womb, when the war had only just begun. Desiring a name by which to call her, Y'shtola suggests “Zero”─which the half-voidsent woman accepts with the disinterest of the damned.

* Believing yourselves exposed, Varshahn suggests continuing the conversation inside the castle. Thus do you make your way to the throne room.

* On arriving at the throne room, Zero demands her payment. But ere Y'shtola can provide it, Scarmiglione, whom you had believed slain, sets upon you once more. The archfiend reveals that death doesn't exist in the void, and you struggle to contend with his powers of regeneration─until Zero agrees to join the fray. All marvel as she uses her mysterious power to transform Scarmiglione's minions into crystals. With the odds made even, you turn to deal with the archfiend himself.

* You succeed in overcoming Scarmiglione, with Zero delivering the coup de grâce and binding him in crystal. Taking the object in your hand, you experience a vision of the past─of a knight in black named Golbez, and those he proclaimed his four archfiends. Of greater interest, however, is the presence of what appears to be a wyrm...

* From the memoria crystals and their part in the world-ending war to Golbez and his mysterious ambitions, you have been given much to consider─and doubtless have many new questions. Fortunately, as Y'shtola observes, Zero still owes you some few answers.

Dialogue
Dark-robed Voidsent: So, I doubt you came to the dungeon by pure chance. What is it that you're after?

Varshahn: We were looking for a voidsent with whom we could converse, in the course of which we learned of you.

Varshahn: We are visitors to this world, and know little and less of its workings and ways.

Varshahn: We would be grateful if you could tell us about it. About yourself.

Dark-robed Voidsent: So it's information you seek.

Dark-robed Voidsent: What do you offer for it?

Varshahn: ...I beg your pardon?

Dark-robed Voidsent: Voidsent do not give unless we stand to gain.

Dark-robed Voidsent: If you desire something, you pay the price. That is the sole rule in this world you call the void.

Varshahn: That makes sense. Pray forgive our ignorance.

Varshahn: But what would be acceptable as payment? I suspect that such coin as we carry has no value here.

Y'shtola: Voidsent crave one thing alone: aether.

Y'shtola: In return for information, I offer you mine. Just not all of it, mind you. I still have need of my life.

Dark-robed Voidsent: Very well. I will tell you no more than you can afford to pay.

Y'shtola: Then we have a bargain.

Dark-robed Voidsent: If we're to talk about the void, let us do so outside. Come with me.

“Where Everything Begins” accepted.

Troian Warden: It seems the clever one did for my fellow warden after all. I knew it was a bad idea to go in the cell...

Troian Gaoler: No one comes and goes from this dungeon without permission. For you, though, I'll make an exception. Go on, go.

Troian Manservant: Though there's only the one dungeon here, we call it the fourth. The mistress's orders.

Troian Manservant: But the mistress is gone, and her orders with her. Rats can infest this castle for all I care!

Y'shtola: You needn't worry for me. My life force is a small price to pay for her knowledge, and I will recover it quickly enough once we've returned home.

Varshahn: We cannot allow Y'shtola to bear the burden alone. When next the opportunity arises, I will offer my own aether.

Estinien: Their “one rule” is no different from that of many in our own world.

Estinien: It's those like Alphinaud who are a rare breed.

Dark-robed Voidsent: This is where I belong. My home. This endless darkness you call the void...

Dark-robed Voidsent: There was once light here, and it shone its warmth upon creation. The lands were green and the seas were blue. Life flourished.

Dark-robed Voidsent: Before the war. The Contramemoria.

Varshahn: It must have been a terrible war indeed...

Dark-robed Voidsent: It shattered the balance, causing Darkness to engulf the world.

Dark-robed Voidsent: All life was transformed into monstrosities─voidsent.

Dark-robed Voidsent: We are the natural order now.

Y'shtola: As Light begat sin eaters, Darkness begat voidsent.

Dark-robed Voidsent: The sun was driven from the sky as fleeting day yielded to endless night. In time, even land and sea lost their distinction.

Dark-robed Voidsent: And though the spark of reason had died in us, driven by memory's shadow, we formed factions and carved out domains.

Dark-robed Voidsent: This castle, for instance. Its erstwhile lord must have abided in such a place once upon a time.

Y'shtola: If I may... The Darkness in you is too much for any man to harbor; to my eyes, you are indeed a voidsent.

Y'shtola: Yet your knowledge of the past and your demeanor mark you apart from your brethren.

Y'shtola: You are different, that much is plain. But in what way, I am unsure.

Dark-robed Voidsent: As you say, I am voidsent. But only in part.

Dark-robed Voidsent: The Darkness touched my mother when the war had only just begun. When I was still in the womb.

Dark-robed Voidsent: As a child, I looked like any other. But Darkness coursed through me, and I ceased to age when I'd become a woman grown.

Dark-robed Voidsent: But that was then, and now...I may as well be one in full.

Dark-robed Voidsent: I prey on the weak and serve the strong. I live to survive. Nothing more.

Y'shtola: Forgive me, 'twas not my intent to pry...
Y'shtola: I realize, too, that I've neglected to ask your name.
Dark-robed Voidsent: As we say “mortal,” you may call me “voidsent.”
Varshahn: That is liable to cause confusion. If you are not averse, we would address you by your true name.

Dark-robed Voidsent: Then call me what you will. I care not.

Y'shtola: How about...“Zero”?

Dark-robed Voidsent: Meaning “nothing”? A name as fitting as any.

Y'shtola: No, not “nothing,” but rather a “beginning.” For it remains to be seen what you will become to us.

Dark-robed Voidsent: As I said, I care not. Zero, then.

What will you say?
> Here's to a fruitful partnership.

> I think it's a nice name.

Zero: Partnership...? Are you saying you wish to strike a bargain?

Varshahn: Well, Zero. While there is no end to the questions we could ask, 'tis only fair that we tell you our purpose in coming here.

Varshahn: We are searching for a dragon, one who came to your world long ago.

Zero: A dragon?

Varshahn: Yes. Azdaja is her name, and she is my sister. If you have any knowledge of her, I beg you share it with us.

???: Hissssss...

Varshahn: Did you say something?

Estinien: No...

Y'shtola: I thought I heard a voice as well. The keening of voidsent, perhaps...

“Where Everything Begins” objective fulfilled!

Y'shtola: No one else seems to be nearby. Perhaps it was just a trick of the wind...

Y'shtola: If naught is out of the ordinary, I should like to hear more from Zero. I can't imagine there are many part voidsent like her who remember the world as it was.

Zero: “Beginning”... A curious notion in a world where all has come to an end.

Estinien: We may have subdued the voidsent here, but I doubt they'll remain that way. Remain vigilant.

Varshahn: I must say, we are rather exposed here.

Varshahn: Perhaps we should continue the conversation within the castle.

Varshahn: The throne room is defensible, given its few points of ingress. Let us head back there.

Zero: Moving wasn't part of the bargain. I'll comply, but I expect my payment promptly.

Y'shtola: You shall have it as soon as we've arrived.

Speaking to NPCs:
Troian Guard Dog: Woof! Grrrrrr...

Troian Doorkeeper: Prey we caught are weakened in the dungeon before being served up to the mistress. “Tenderizing,” she called it, and that's the way she used to like it.

Troian Knight: I can't survive without someone to give me aether. But where, oh where will I find a new master...?

Varshahn: All appears unchanged here.

Estinien: I feel eyes on us. Stay alert.

Y'shtola: I will see to the payment, and then we may ask Zero what she knows about Azdaja.

Upon Talking to Zero:
Zero: This place is as good as any. Let me have the aether now.

Y'shtola: Very well.

???: Hissssss...

???: You're mine!

Scarmiglione: Ahhh, that I should miss my mark...

Estinien: That fiend again? But we struck it down─watched it die!

Scarmiglione: Fools. Death doesn't exissst in this world. And I─I am free to return whensoever I please.

Y'shtola: Death doesn't exist...?

Y'shtola: Of course. In the First, the power of Light─of passivity─prevents life from emerging in the Empty.

Y'shtola: But in the Thirteenth, the power of Darkness─of activity─prevents life from finding rest, even should soul be separated from flesh.

Varshahn: So unless one's essence is absorbed by another, 'tis possible to return again and again...

Scarmiglione: Hm... Your aether─it is reminissscent of that creature's. Ahhh, my mouth waters at the memory...

Varshahn: What?

Scarmiglione: I must devour you too. Yes, I must!

Scarmiglione: Ye drifting souls, by my power be reborn!

Estinien: If it's another death they want, I say we give it to them.

Y'shtola: If you could lend us a hand, we'd be much obliged.

Zero: That you would. But you already owe me a debt, and until you make good on it, I won't lift a finger.

Zero: We'll speak after you have won. But know that if you lose, I'll help myself to your aether.

Scarmiglione: That a bothersome duty should deliver to me this lavish feassst...

Battle Dialogue:
Scarmiglione: Come, struggle with all your might! It will make you that much richer and tastier!

Scarmiglione: Every soul in this domain ssserves me now.

Scarmiglione: Come, feassst upon their flesh!

Y'shtola: The castle answers his call...

Y'shtola: We'd do well to break up this feast quickly.

Estinien: Then let's see these guests on their way.

Scarmiglione: Behold the power of the archfiend of earth!

Varshahn: He means to resurrect them again!

Estinien: Hmph, let them come.

Y'shtola: A troublesome foe...

Y'shtola: He hastens their regeneration!

Scarmiglione: We are deathlessssss.

Scarmiglione: You cannot defeat that which cannot die!

Estinien: Get clear!

Scarmiglione: Struggle and slaughter all you like!

Varshahn: This bodes ill...

Varshahn: Our foe has too great an advantage...

Estinien: We need to drag him out of this damnable feast.

Estinien: Quickly, stand together!

Y'shtola: There's no end in sight...

Y'shtola: A retreat may be in order.

Scarmiglione: When will you learn? No matter what you do, you cannot hope to win.

Y'shtola: You never know until you try, and I'm always happy to experiment.

Estinien: Zero─is there no way to stop them from coming back?

Zero: There is. But I have no reason to share it with you.

Y'shtola: You know, Zero. You do owe us for one thing.

Y'shtola: Your name.

Y'shtola: You'll have your promised aether, but we are owed compensation for your name.

Zero: A name for which I did not ask...

Zero: But that I nevertheless did accept.

Y'shtola: They've been crystallized!

Estinien: Well now, that's quite the trick.

Zero: Satisfied?

Y'shtola: Completely.

Varshahn: Come, my friends. With Zero's aid, we can defeat him!

Scarmiglione: What is this!? What have you done!?

Zero: Now that I think on it, you owe me a debt as well.

Zero: You may have missed your mark...but I won't miss mine.

Zero: However incurred, a debt is a debt.

Zero: I will repay it here and now.

Y'shtola: She can turn voidsent into crystal...

Varshahn: What is this power?

Scarmiglione: You will tremble before my true ssstrength!

Scarmiglione: Go forth and smite my foes!

Zero: Attend to the minions first.

Zero: Begone.

Scarmiglione: More... I need more servants...

Zero: That's far enough.

Zero turns the voidsent into crystal!

Zero: Got you!

Scarmiglione: Trickery will not save you!

Scarmiglione: Prove your loyalty to me!

Varshahn: Reinforcements...

Zero: This will hurt.

Zero turns the voidsent into crystal!

Estinien: Hm, impressive.

Scarmiglione: Pathetic! Useless!

Scarmiglione: Enough! Enough!

Zero: Ugh!

Varshahn: We cannot win without Zero. We must help her!

Estinien: Zero needs our help!

Zero: Another debt to repay...

Scarmiglione: Hmph. If I must deal with you first...
Scarmiglione: I'll kill you all myself!

Estinien: Finally getting serious, are we?

Estinien: Very well, let us return the favor!

Scarmiglione: This place will be your grave!

Y'shtola: This magick... We must stop him now!

Varshahn: Everyone, to me!

After Completing Instanced Duty:
Scarmiglione: Fools! Do not think you have defeated me! I will return, again and again!

Scarmiglione: What? My flesh... Why won't it heal? What is the meaning of thisss!?

Scarmiglione: To seal aether in crystal...

Scarmiglione: Memoria!? But how? How can you have this power?

Scarmiglione: Death has no place in this world. We are beyond it...and yet...

Scarmiglione: Ah, Lord Golbez! You have sent me to my doom!

Scarmiglione: Curse you and your wretched flattery, and this abominable fate!

[Start of Vision]
Knight in Black: You are well come, seekers of might.

Golbez: I, Golbez, have called you four hither...

Golbez: I who would see us triumph in the coming crusade...

Golbez: That I may entrust you with command of our armies.

Spirited Voidsent: Yes, yes, but what of the promised gift?

Shifty Voidsent: In exchange for our loyalty, we are to feast on the finest aether.

Golbez: And so you shall. For if you are to serve me, you must be strong.

Alluring Voidsent: Then honor the pact, and pray we are not disappointed.

Golbez: Very well. Behold.

Dignified Voidsent: The fiery wings, the savage horns...it pulses with life! Such vibrant aether!

Dignified Voidsent: This magnificent creature could only come from beyond the veil.

Golbez: Indeed. Feast, my friends. Feast, and arise as my four archfiends!

Golbez: As they are now, they can consume but a fraction of the dragon's aether.

Golbez: Just as well. The creature may yet serve other ends.

[End of Vision]
Estinien: Are you all right?

Y'shtola: The voidsent's essence remains.

Y'shtola: But it has been sealed away─transformed into crystal.

Varshahn: “Memoria,” Scarmiglione called them.

Varshahn: I take it they are connected to the war of which you spoke.

Zero: Aye─their use was central to the Contramemoria, hence its name.

Zero: And to my knowledge, the transformation is permanent.

Varshahn: I see. We thank you for coming to our aid.

Zero: I repaid a debt, and in doing so ensured that I receive my own due compensation. Which I shall have now.

Y'shtola: Yes, yes. I still have work to do, so I would thank you not to get carried away.

Estinien: Aether as the coin of choice. I appreciate the simplicity.

Y'shtola: That makes us even, I trust.

Y'shtola: Right, then─when you picked up the crystal, you experienced a vision, did you not?

Varshahn: A dragon resembling a great wyrm? I dare to hope that it was Azdaja...

Varshahn: Even as it pains me to think she has been made to suffer.

Estinien: For the ambitions of this Golbez...

Y'shtola: We've been given much to consider. Let us a take a moment to review what we know.

Speaking to NPCs:
Varshahn: If Golbez has Azdaja at his mercy, then we must find him. Hopefully Zero has knowledge that will aid us in our search...

Estinien: We've vanquished one of Golbez's archfiends, but three remain. As troublesome as this one, I expect.

Zero: There is nothing like the aether of a living mortal. I haven't felt so satisfied since my return.

Y'shtola: We should still be owed at least that much, I daresay.

Speaking to the present NPCs immediately after:
Y'shtola: From memoria to Golbez and his archfiends, we have more questions now than answers. But that is a sign that we are making progress.

*Speak with Erichthonios.

Journal
* Erichthonios is resolutely avoiding his father's eye.

* At his son's prompting, a surprisingly cooperative Lahabrea explains that Hephaistos was an experiment born of his own negative emotions, meant to remain sealed away forevermore. While he does not know how his so-called “other half” came to roam the facility unfettered, he concludes that the best means to keep him from wreaking further havoc is to destroy Pandæmonium before the barriers surrounding it are undone. Following Erichthonios's stringent objection to this course, Themis invokes his position as Emissary to advocate for continued investigation of the facility, that the warders might yet be saved. Lahabrea begrudgingly accepts this decision, but states that he will not hesitate to move forward with Pandæmonium's erasure if you are unequal to the task. Angered by his father's callousness, Erichthonios stalks off.

* You approach Erichthonios at a remove from the entrance to Abyssos. He appears to have calmed down somewhat, and even admits that Lahabrea's knowledge will prove useful as you venture into Abyssos. He asks that you speak to Lahabrea in his stead, as it seems the chief keyward has a special interest in you.

* Although Lahabrea can no longer directly control Abyssos, he can yet sense the aether within. He informs you that while no creations have been set loose, the keyward Hegemone awaits your arrival. Traces of her original self remain, but corruption indicates the likelihood that she has already been transformed into a hemitheos. You brace yourself for the battle ahead, and hope that the keyward is not yet too far gone to be saved.
** ※Abyssos: The Sixth Circle can be accessed via the Duty Finder.

* You find the keyward Hegemone either unable or unwilling to listen to reason─though that appears to be the least of her problems. After a skin-crawling struggle with her and the parasite stitched into her flesh, your phantom party attains victory, sealing the keyward away in the hopes that the harm done to her can be reversed in the future.

* With your goal attained, Erichthonios is convinced that Lahabrea can no longer deny your strength and resolve. Yet the stygian depths of Pandæmonium await, halls echoing with the cries of Hephaistos's damned...
Dialogue
Before Accepting Quest:
Erichthonios: I don't know how long it's been since we last spoke, Lahabrea, and truth be told I had hoped we never would again.

Erichthonios: But I see now that I was a fool to think I would ever escape your meddling. Just what is that...thing that called himself Lahabrea? And why is he the spitting image of your younger self?

Erichthonios: I find it hard to believe you've only just now found out such a being was wreaking havoc in Pandæmonium. Did you think matters would simply sort themselves out?
Lahabrea: ...Hmph. I suppose you deserve at least a cursory explanation.

Lahabrea: I was well aware of the anomalies occurring within Pandæmonium, including the fact that Azem and Elidibus had taken it upon themselves to investigate. I saw no reason to insert myself into the situation. For a time, that was...

Lahabrea: Imagine my surprise when instead of a formal report from you and yours, I received a communication from one of the keywards stating that research and operations were proceeding as usual.

Lahabrea: While Hephaistos's deception was almost childish in its simplicity, it became plain to me that your grasp on the situation was slipping.

Themis: So you knew of his existence from the beginning?

Themis: I can hardly imagine that you would suffer another to masquerade as one of the Convocation. Not without good reason, at least.

Lahabrea: As you well know, the name Lahabrea is but a marker of my station. 'Tis not the name I was born with.

Lahabrea: Hephaistos has claimed that for himself. I cannot fault him for it, as he is my other half, in a manner of speaking.

Lahabrea: He knows all that I know─my equal in every way. Yet within his heart is naught but greed, envy, and desire. All the emotions that we are loath to acknowledge within ourselves.

Themis: If what you say is true... What purpose would such a being serve?

Lahabrea: He is the product of experimentation gone awry. A reminder of the days when I was yet young and reckless. I thought him sealed away for good, but it seems time has a way of unearthing the shame we bury.

Erichthonios: When he spoke of my mother, he looked at you with venom in his eyes. Blamed you for her death...

Erichthonios: Tell me... Was he right to do so?

Lahabrea: ...His words were but the ramblings of a tortured mind. The hatred and despair he endures has warped his view of the world irreparably.

Lahabrea: And now that he has awakened, he must be put to rest. If he succeeds in breaching Pandæmonium's protective wards, he shall invite disaster unto our star.

Lahabrea: As chief keyward of Pandæmonium, it is my duty to decide the proper course of action. As such, I declare that all research shall be summarily abandoned and the facility destroyed.

Erichthonios: What? You would leave the other warders to their doom!?

Themis: ...'Tis a choice befitting Lahabrea.

Lahabrea: Do you disagree?

Themis: You speak of duty, and ours is to guide our star and its inhabitants upon the correct course. It is no surprise that you would choose annihilation of Pandæmonium if its existence posed even the remotest risk to our people.

Themis: Yet as you can see by Erichthonios's response, the decision is somewhat more nuanced than that. Azem and I grappled with this conundrum for some time, in fact.

Themis: That is precisely why I chose to involve myself directly. 'Twas the only way I could truly determine the best solution.

Lahabrea: ...And you need not trouble yourself with that further. The chief keyward must prevent the worst from occurring, no matter the cost. Your feelings, Elidibus, are of no consequence.

Erichthonios: Have you taken even a moment to consider another path!? No!

Erichthonios: You've spared nary a thought for aught but yourself and your duty! You have no idea of the trials we've endured! The foes that [Forename] has stood against!

Lahabrea: [Forename], is it? A being of such aether as I have never seen. What are you?

Themis: (He|She) is the guiding star that shall lead us safely through this. Thanks to (his|her) stout arm and steadfast courage, we have subdued the mythic creations and returned them to their cells.

Themis: Speaking of which, I would hear your opinion, [Forename]. As outsiders, we are in a unique position to look upon circumstances with our vision unclouded by attachment.

What will you say?
> It's too soon to give up on saving the others.

Erichthonios: Agreed. We still know next to nothing about Hephaistos, and I highly doubt Lahabrea has been forthcoming with the truth.

> Lahabrea can't be trusted.

> What was that you said about being an emissary?

Erichthonios: But we've managed to regain control of Asphodelos. He must be made to see that there's merit in continuing on this path...

Erichthonios: ...I have it. Speak in your official capacity as Elidibus the Emissary. Judge which approach is more sound, and even Lahabrea would be compelled to listen.

Themis: As Elidibus, I am duty-bound to assess the matter from a position of impartiality. My opinion as Themis can carry no weight. You understand what that means, yes?

Erichthonios: I do. Even so, you've walked with us all this time─seen what we've seen. Based on that alone, I trust that you'll find the best way forward.

Themis: Very well. Then in my capacity as Emissary, I shall state my judgment.

Themis: At present, there are merits both in destroying Pandæmonium outright and in taking time to rescue its researchers. And neither is yet an impossible task.

Themis: Therefore, I judge that the most measured choice would be to continue upon our present course. We delve into Abyssos, interring any mythic creations we encounter along the way.

Themis: You have yet to witness [Forename]'s might and Erichthonios's resolve. I would ask that you see our capabilities firsthand, and only then decide if our endeavor is futile.

Lahabrea: If such is the will of the Emissary, then I shall obey. However, if indeed I find your strength to be lacking, I trust there will be no objections to the immediate destruction of Pandæmonium.

Erichthonios: You needn't worry about that─we won't fail.

Lahabrea: You are...bolder than I remember.

Erichthonios: ...And you're even more tedious than I remember. [Forename], come find me when you're finished.

Themis: Erichthonios is understandably frustrated, but if we are to conquer Abyssos, we must go forth with clear heads. Pray lend an ear to his troubles, that their weight might be lightened.

After Accepting Quest:
Themis: Despite recent developments, our plan remains unchanged. Pray call me Themis for the time being─it shall put us all in the correct mindset, and in fact I may be coming to prefer that name.

Lahabrea: ...You have done all you can with words. Only your actions can convince me now.

Erichthonios: ...You do have my gratitude, ill-fit as I am to show it at the moment. Without your words to sway him, Lahabrea would have carried out his plan without a second thought.

Erichthonios: When at first we realized the creations had slipped their bonds, the other keywards did all in their power to restore order. Even though they could've chosen escape, they remained to aid their allies.

Erichthonios: I'm certain not a soul among them would wish to see this facility erased from the world, and they don't deserve to be abandoned simply for carrying out their duty.

Erichthonios: And besides, Hephaistos has secrets yet untold. Secrets that would be buried if Pandæmonium were reduced to rubble. I mean to uncover the truth behind his words...the truth of my mother.

Erichthonios: While Lahabrea was quick to dismiss his claims, I fail to see what Hephaistos would gain by fabricating such a story.

Erichthonios: All I was told of my mother's death was that she perished in an accident. No one would say more─it was almost as if they feared saying more, in fact.

Erichthonios: Even if it was not Lahabrea that dealt the fatal blow, we've seen with our own eyes how quickly he can condemn others to die. I only wish to know at last what befell her...

Erichthonios: What do you think, [Forename]? Does the Lahabrea you know have any regard for the lives of others? Or will he carry out his duty with another's blood on his hands?

What will you say?
> He always was a man who worked from the shadows.

> He once used my ally as a vessel for his own twisted ends.

> I have no idea what he might be like in this age.

Erichthonios: “This age”? Just how long has it been since last you met? Regardless, I'd like you to try and view him as he is now. Another opinion would be much appreciated...

Erichthonios: ...But it is plain there is much to consider. Thank you, [Forename]. It's easy for me to get carried away by emotion where he's concerned.

Erichthonios: We should focus on the task at hand: proving to Lahabrea that we are capable of saving Pandæmonium and its keepers. The most convincing way to do that will be to regain control of Abyssos.

Erichthonios: Although I'm loath to admit it, he would know more about those depths than any of us. And seeing as how we require every advantage we can afford...

Erichthonios: [Forename], would you speak to him for us? He seems to have a special interest in your capabilities, and may deign to help at your suggestion─if only to see what you can do.

After Speaking to Erichthonios:
Erichthonios: Researchers of different layers seldom contact one another unless work is involved, and I know next to nothing about the keyward of Abyssos. Any morsels of information Lahabrea can offer would be a boon.

Lahabrea: Erichthonios appears to have a deep trust in you. And Elidibus tells me you share some relation to Azem.

Lahabrea: Your unusual aether does not mark you as a familiar. It is unlike anything I have seen, even among the countless concepts I have observed.

Lahabrea: To think that I would encounter an existence I could not create by my own hand. Azem never ceases to surprise.

Lahabrea: The previous Azem was much the same. In taking the entirety of the star into consideration, she came to hold dear emotions and people that a more logical mind would have discarded. This made her act in her own self-interest more often than not...

Lahabrea: Just as you and Elidibus have conducted yourselves in this matter. The true danger of Azem's nature is its tendency to infect all those she comes into contact with.

Themis: Emet-Selch said much the same. Trust that I shall do naught that would violate my duty.

Lahabrea: And yet you so frivolously invoked your authority as Emissary to justify this little excursion. It matters little, however─only your deeds can speak for you now.

Lahabrea: You wish to know more of Abyssos, I take it. Although I no longer have control over many of its functions, I can yet sense what creations lie within.

Themis: The chief keyward's reach is far indeed. Well then, what do we have to look forward to?

Lahabrea: I sense no creations of note. Perhaps they have been made into fodder for experimentation, or perhaps they have been transferred to the deeper circles.

Lahabrea: Yet Hephaistos would never allow you safe passage. He has left a trial for you to overcome.

Lahabrea: I speak of Hegemone, keyward of Abyssos. Although her presence is stained with marks of corruption, it is unmistakable.

Lahabrea: I knew her as a woman gifted in magic and blessed with a highly logical mind. While I can sense those qualities within her still, there is something else at work...

Erichthonios: If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that's because she's already been twisted into a hemitheos. Doubtless against her will...

Erichthonios: [Forename], Themis, we must rescue her from that cruel fate. And if we cannot, we can at least seal her away until we find a means to undo the damage.

Lahabrea: Your allies make you bold, Erichthonios. I very much look forward to seeing how far they carry you.

After Unlocking Raid:
Lahabrea: Hegemone was a woman of reason and logic. She would never be swayed by Hephaistos's wretched schemes. I hope she was not made to suffer overmuch...

Themis: Let us not change a strategy that has served us so well thus far. Bring Hegemone to heel, [Forename], and Erichthonios and I shall inter her when the time is right.

Erichthonios: Now we prove our strength. Only then can we free the other warders and unveil the truth hidden in Pandæmonium's shadows.

After Completing Raid:
Lahabrea: I could sense from here that Hegemone had been contained. The effect of Hephaistos's tinkering is even more dire than I had imagined...

Themis: As is to be expected, Erichthonios appears quite pleased with our victory.

Erichthonios: We've won! The keyward is sealed away, and alive this time!

Erichthonios: Lahabrea can't deny us now!

Erichthonios avoids his father's gaze and turns away. Lahabrea turns away and folds his arms. Themis looks between the both of them inquisitively.

Erichthonios avoids his father's gaze and turns away. Lahabrea turns away and folds his arms. Themis looks between the both of them inquisitively.

[It is interesting to note that Themis fully head-tracks you here, even if you move behind him or get very close to him. He is truly an inquisitive boi.]

Walkthrough
???

Dialogue

“A Keyward's Gaol” accepted.

“A Keyward's Gaol” objective fulfilled!

Erichthonios avoids his father's gaze and turns away. Lahabrea turns away and folds his arms. Themis looks between the both of them inquisitively.

The Duty Finder has been updated with a new regular duty.

“A Keyward's Gaol” objective fulfilled!

[It is interesting to note that Themis fully head-tracks you here, even if you move behind him or get very close to him. He is truly an inquisitive boi.]

“A Keyward's Gaol” complete!
