If you're not familiar with spearfishing, this mission can be difficult. Here's how it works:
#Configure yourself as a fisher. Enable Truth of Oceans.
#Go to The Sunken Junk spearfishing hole around (X:10, Y:34) in Yanxia and dive under water ( As shown to the right ).
#If necessary, use your Shark Eye ability to find a Lv70 Teeming Waters. There are some lvl 65 nodes to the east, but that is The One River Southwestern Riverbeds spearfishing hole, so be careful to avoid those.
#Begin spearfishing. Your first goal is to catch 8 Ichthyosaur. You may find the Veteran Trade ability to be helpful, but it appears to only work for one type of fish. So using it multiple times doesn't seem to be effective for blocking multiple fish at the same time.
#Once you exhaust a node, find another one (using Shark Eye if necessary). There are three of them, and you just cycle through them in order.
#Eventually you will catch 8 Ichthyosaur, and the shadow node in The Sunken Junk's South Side spearfishing hole will appear. You will see the message "You sense level 70 swimming shadows to the <direction>" and the node will appear on your mini-map, similar to how Unspoiled Nodes appear for botany and mining. Head to that node.
#Spearfish the shadow node and catch three Dafangshi. It appears that with this mission in your log you have a much higher (or perhaps automatic) chance of catching Dafangshi.

Steps
*Wait for Reyna at the Gods' Grip.
*Gather information from the villagers in Isari.
*Report to Wawalago in Kugane.
*Join Wawalago outside Namai.
*Catch Dafangshi.
*Deliver the Dafangshi to Wawalago at the Glittering Basin.
*Show the Dafangshi to Jisho in Isari.
*Deliver the Dafangshi to Ukimono in Tamamizu.
*Speak with Wawalago at Fisherman's Bottom.

Journal
*Master Wawalago is examining you with an expectant eye.

*Wawalago excitedly explains that he's received a missive from Reyna, who is eager to share what she and her colleagues have learned from their inspection of the harutsuge sprags you successfully snared for her. Unable to contain his eagerness to meet the lovely lass with a passion for all things piscine, the guildmaster also states his intentions to steal away from the watchful eye of Sisipu and join you. Make your way to the Gods' Grip to see what manner of enlightening knowledge the fishing enthusiasts have gleaned.

*Wawalago is moderately dismayed to be greeted not by the gorgeous Reyna but rather her colleague Ansaulme, but quickly puts aside his qualms to inquire as to Ishgardian anglers' latest findings. Ansaulme relates their findings, such as they are: to wit, that they could determine no anomalies with the waters of the Ruby Sea from the specimens you secured. When the guildmaster then surmises that this could only mean that the problem can be traced to their spawning grounds, Ansaulme is impressed by his powers of deduction, encouraging Wawalago to travel to the Far East to investigate for himself. As the guildmaster hems and haws, Sisipu appears, chastising him for his insensitivity to her true feelings and giving him her blessings to make the journey eastward. You make for the fishing village of Isari to gather what information you can in advance of the guildmaster's arrival in Kugane.

*In Isari, an elderly fisherman by the name of Jisho shares with you an intriguing bit of history. Before the Garleans came, the Isari fishermen joined with their Kojin friends to hold a yearly event known as the Wadatsumi festival. The festivities involved catching fearsome sea beasts known as giant plesiosaurs and offering them in tribute to the kami of the seas, that calm might return to the oceans. Traditional religious practices, however, were outlawed twenty-five years ago when the Garleans came, and the bonds of friendship between Isari and the Kojin gradually faded away. You set off for Kugane to share this enlightening information with Master Wawalago.

*Upon hearing your tale, Master Wawalago quickly deduces that the outlawing of the festival has resulted in an overpopulation of plesiosaurs, who doubtless are preying upon on harutsuge hatchlings before they can reach full size. As such, it would stand to reason that reviving the festival would restore the harutsuge to the seas. Together with your companions, you make for the shores near Namai to catch yourselves some dafangshi, that you might present them to the Kojin in return for their cooperation in bringing back the festivities of old.

*Wawalago encourages you to ensnare three dafangshi, the fish favored by the Kojin, that it might convince them to take part in the revived Wadatsumi festivities. Should you find the task too trying, he suggests you speak with your Kojin friends and learn what you might of their special technique of spearfishing.

*Employing your spearfishing skills to their fullest, you manage to haul in three dafangshi. Wawalago expresses his admiration and bids you show them to Jisho in Isari, and secure his permission before then persuading the Kojin to take part in the festivities.

*Jisho is delighted to see the dafangshi, and is nigh brought to tears at the thought that his humble village, which struggled so long under the yoke of the empire, might at long last see its glory days return. As he calls upon the young ones to begin preparation, he bids you deliver the dafangshi to Tamamizu in his stead.

*Ukimono is likewise overjoyed at your offering of the dafangshi, saying that nothing would give him greater joy than to restore a beloved tradition of his people's past. This will not happen overnight, however, as the young Kojin himself remembers little of the particulars of the celebration. While Ukimono and Govv round up willing collaborators in Tamamizu, you set off back to Eorzea with Guildmaster Wawalago, who intends to do further research regarding the festivities at the guild.

*Back at Fisherman's Bottom, Wawalago restates his intent to research the Wadatsumi festival to the best of his abiltiies. He encourages you to make a foray to your favorite fishing hole in the meantime, so that you might be prepared to fish as you have never fished before when the occasion arrives.

** ※The next fisher quest will be available from Wawalago upon reaching level 70.

From nowhere, a vast swarm of sin eaters circles around it, as moths to a flame, and a voice that emanates from within the core claims to hold dominion over these creatures of Light. ====Phase 1====
* Empty Wave Hevy raidwide AOE damage
* Unshadowed Stake Tankbuster that must be aimed away from the group, as it shoots a beam when it's cast completes.
* Words of Motion Four groups of birds will form across the northern edge of the platform and will shoot across in the order that they form. Position in the later bird's zone and dodge to safety when the first clump has shot across.
* Words of Motion + Red / Blue Portals Red and blue portals will form along one side of the platform, as well as one of each color in the middle. Whichever color the birds go into first is the same color that will "shoot" from the edge line of portals first. Just as you did with Words of Motion, dodge to the safe lanes after the first attacks go off. This mechanic will begin stacking with other mechanics as the fight progresses.
* Away With Thee All players are marked with a purple teleportation marker that is fixed relative to the position of their character. Turn and align yourself so that you are not going to go off the platform when the mechanic goes off.
* False Twilight puts AOE markers under all party members feet
* Silver Sledge Stack-up markers are put on two players, and the group must split to share the damage.
* Unjoined Aspect applies astral (white) or umbral (purple) debuffs on all party members. During this phase, players can only take damage from the opposite color that they are marked with.
* Words of Night Astral and Umbral groups of birds form at one edge of the platform. Players must position themselves so that they are in a lane of the opposing color of their debuff. Every time a player is hit by their opposite color, their debuff will swap, so be ready to quickly readjust.

Phase 2
The two Idolatry adds will spawn on the east and west of the platform during this phase. They must be tanked apart from one another.

* 1st Strength in Numbers Doughnut shaped AOE around each Idolatry. Away With Thee is cast at the same time, and players must position themselves so they are teleported into a safe zone.
* Silver Shot marks all players with AOEs. Spread apart to avoid overlapping.
* 2nd Strength in Numbers Large AOE around each Idolatry
* Explosion Kill the Idolatry before this goes off.
* Empty Flood Stack in the middle for shields, CDs and heals. Massive party AOE damage.

Phase 3
* Portals + Umbral/Astral Birds Each portal will now absorb/eject the umbral and astral birds, so players must quickly position themselves so that they will be hit by the correct color when the beam passes both ways. This requires some quick thinking, due to the beam switching the player's debuff color every time they are hit by the attack.
* Black Smoke forms two towers that must have several players standing in them to absorb damage. At the same time that this is cast, another Away With Thee will go out, allowing players to align themselves so that they can teleport directly into the area that the orb is dropping.
* Judgement Jolt Draws lightning into the tallest of the two spears summoned by Stratospear Summons. Move to the edge of the platform that has the shortest spear to avoid the AOE.
* Surge Protection Orbs summons a scattering of orbs around the platform. Players can gather up to three of these orbs for a stacking "shield" buff that will serve as protection from some of Ramuh's upcoming attack. These will be continuously summoned throughout the rest of the duty, so players should refresh their stacks when possible. Do not exceed 3 stacks of the orbs.
* Stormcloud Summons Targets 2 players with a purple dagger marker that will deposit a stormcloud when it expires. The clouds will do a small AOE around itself for some time after it is dropped. Players should drop their stormclouds not only away from the party, but also away from one another. If stormclouds are placed too close to one another they will combine and pulse massive damage to the group.
* Judgement Volts Raidwide AOE damage + summons more surge protection orbs.
* Fury's Bolts buffs Ramuh, altering his next attack.
* Divine Judgement Volts Unavoidable raidwide damage, must have at least 1 stack of surge protection to survive
* Tribunal Summons Summons the Will of Ramuh along the north of the platform in the center. This will charge across the platform through the center line, and to avoid being knocked off players must position themselves as closely as possible to the centerline without touching it. The second Tribunal Summons cast will summon Will of Ixion to either the east or west of the platform. These will charge along three "lanes" on the platform, so players must find safe spaces as soon as the Will is cast to avoid taking high damage and being knocked back.
For the time being, the best course of action appears to be continuing with efforts to restore balance to the ambient aether of the Empty. The next element is lightning, which once ravaged the Gandof Thunder Plains in the time before the Flood of Light. Your memories of Ramuh give corporeal form to the crackling aetherial energies drawn forth.
* Stratospear Summons Summons 2 AOE circles on the east and west of the platform, where two lightning spears will shortly drop.
Phase 1

Idolatry / Add Phase
The two Idolatry adds that spawn on the east and west during this phase have high health and must be tanked apart from one another.
1st Strength in Numbers Doughnut shaped AOE around each Idolatry.

Loot
At various times throughout the entire fight, cannons on all sides of the platform will perform various attacks. They will release pink orbs that float across the platform. Touching an orb will OHKO most players. They will also draw red lasers to targeted players, who must continue moving to kite the beams away from the rest of the raid. During later phases, lasers will cover the entire platform, with each section being slightly delayed from the previous, so players must be attentive to which section dropped from the ceiling first and avoid them in order.

Energy Bombardment : The boss will throw several orbs into the sky, which will then come down around him. These put out effect markers and are fairly easy to avoid.

Energy Assault Cone AOE attack that sprays orbs across the platform. When the boss begins casting this, run behind him.

Forceful Impact: Tankbuster

Sidestriking Spin hits in a long rectangle on each side of the boss.

Centrifugal Spin hits in a long rectangle to the front and back of the boss.

Systematic Airstrike will drop from the ceiling at intervals during the fight. During this phase, the floor will have boxes with arrows drawn in squares that designate the path that each spotlight moves in. The spotlights will drop circular AOE orbs as they traverse their patch, so players must find a safe section and move as the spotlights go along their route.

Shockwave is a room-wide push centered on the boss. This will be cast when the spotlights are out, so players need to make sure that the area they are going to be pushed into will be free from the AOE circles being released by the spotlights.

Hobbes
In this fight, each platform has completely different mechanics based on which one they are on, as well as the position of the rotating machine arm above the raid floor.

Platform Specific Mechanics
* Alliance A: Heads. Machine Lifeform heads below the grating of the platform will light up red and eventually begin arcing lightning, dealing high damage.
* Alliance B: Conveyor belts. The belts will push players in the indicated direction. While the belts are active, the edge of the platform inflicts instant death on players that touch it.
* Alliance C: Vents. Four vents on the platform light up orange before spraying oil upwards, dealing damage and inflicting a debuff that causes Hobbes' fire damage to deal lethal damage. After the vents have sprayed, the non-vent area of the platform will perform the same attack.

Attacks by the Machine
* Left Arm: Proximity-based damage on one alliance's platform that drops a shipping container. When the attack lands, the panels of the crate will also open in a cross pattern and instantly kill any player standing beneath them. Finally, four Small Exploder adds will spawn and tether to nearby players. After a short time, these adds will charge their tethered target and self-destruct, dealing extremely high damage. Players should make sure they never have more than one tether. Alternatively, the tank can intercept all the tethers and brute force through the damage with their invulnerability skill.
* Right Arm: The right arm will hover over the platform with two blades and a syringe on its claws to perform three simultaneous attacks. The two blades will cast out small cones from the center of the platform, while the syringe will create a small ring surrounding a small circle AoE centered below the syringe claw. After each attack, the claw will rotate in the marked direction and use the attacks again from the new position.
* Nozzles: The nozzles on the wall will catch fire, eventually shooting a lingering line of fire across the platform that deals damage every second a player stands in it.

Hobbes' Attacks
* Laser-Resistance Test: Moderate alliance-wide damage cast several times in a row. As the fight goes on, the number of laser pulses Hobbes fires will increase.
* Ring Laser: Several ring attacks starting from the edge of the platforms. Can be avoided by either standing in the direct center of the platform or by moving to a part of the platform the attack has already hit.
* Laser Sight: Line-up Stack on a random player in each alliance.
* Short-Range Missile: Marks players with large circle AoEs while also subjecting each alliance to their platform's specific mechanics.

Engels
Phase One
* Marx Smash: Large AOE inflicting heavy damage and a stack of Vulnerability Up. The area of effect can be determined by which arm(s) Engels raises and where.
** Raises one arm as if winding up for a punch (left/right): East or west half, same side as raised arm. Engels will always open with this attack, usually on the east side of the platform, then repeat for the other side.
** Raises both arms high: South side of the platform. This is then shortly followed by a line AOE covering a quarter of the east and west sides of the platform. (Only center is safe)
** Raises both arms low: North side of the platform, shortly followed by a line AOE covering the middle half of the platform. (Only east/west sides are safe)
* Precision Guided Missile: Triple tankbuster. Targets each alliance's tank with a unique red AOE marker. Tanks should spread out and away from each other and the remainder of the alliance.
* Incendiary Bombing: Targets one member of each alliance with a standard red AOE marker. Targeted members should take this away from the rest of the alliance as the ensuing AOE will leave a puddle of napalm inflicting Burns on anyone that enters it.
* Guided Missile: Targets one member of each alliance with a unique yellow AOE marker with trailing arrows. This is a chase mechanic similar to the Cloud of Darkness's Feint Particle Beam; affected members should lure the attack away from the remainder of the alliance. Each hit inflicts a stack of Vulnerability Up.
* Diffuse Laser: Raidwide laser attack.
* Energy Barrage: Meteors/Pillars style attack. 14 AOE circles will spawn inside of Engels's hitbox; alliance members should get away from the middle of the platform as Engels will fire a massive laser blast from its head. After the laser blast it will be safe to fill each circle with one alliance member.
* Surface Missile: Traditional AOE attack targeting several alliance members.

After casting Surface Missile, Engels will follow with another Precision Guided Missile and a Diffuse Laser before summoning adds.

Adds Phase
Engels will begin charging, become untargetable, and spawn three Reverse-jointed Goliaths and a half-dozen Small Bipeds. The bipeds can be safely ignored as 2P will destroy them with a blast of missiles. Each alliance should tank and fight one Goliath each, away from the other two. If all adds are not destroyed before Engels's Charge meter hits 100, the raid will wipe.

After the adds are killed Engels will use a powerful raidwide Diffuse Laser; after this he will destroy the platform entirely from underneath. Players should get away from the center of the platform to avoid taking fatal damage. Players will land on a conveniently-placed second platform and Phase Two will begin.

Phase Two
* Marx Activation: Summons Marx sawblade arms to attack from the east and west sides of the platform. The Marx units will attack a quarter of the platform starting from back to front or vice versa; keep out of line of sight of the Marx units to avoid heavy damage and Vulnerability Up stacks.
* Area Bombardment: Attacks with Incendiary Bombing, Surface Missile, Guided Missile, and Precision Guided Missile, one right after the other. This attack starts up toward the end of the Marx attacks so maintain positional awareness.

After Area Bombardment Engels will use another Diffuse Laser, then mix up Surface Missiles with Marx Smashes. It will then follow up with:

* Incendiary Saturation Bombing: Covers the entire south side of the platform with napalm, forcing the alliance to the front of the platform for...
* Marx Crush: Engels will become untargetable again and try to crush the alliance with its Marx Arms on either side. These adds do not need to be tanked, but must be destroyed before the arms reach the center of the platform which will wipe the raid.

After the Marx Arms are destroyed, Engels will repeat previous mechanics excluding the adds phase and Marx Crush until the fight is over.

Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken.
* Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.

Completion Reward
Upon completing the Copied Factory, players can also earn a separate reward once per week: two Cracked Stellaclusters and one Manufactured Coin. In this fight, each platform has completely different mechanics based on which one they are on, as well as the position of the rotating machine arm above the raid floor.

Platform Specific Mechanics
Group A ??

Group B will be on a platform that has conveyer belts on it. These will, at random, activate and push party members in the indicated direction. During this phase, if any person touches the wall they will be OHKO.

Group C's platform has four large round grates on it, and periodically hot oil will pulse up through the floor. The party must dance between the circles and the non-circle part of the platform, depending on which part of the grate is open, so they aren't hit.

Attacks by the Machine
If the large box is dropped on your platform, position yourself at a corner so the walls don't crush you when it opens. Tethers will come out and attach to random players, and if any individual player has more than one tether it will quickly kill that person, so intercept extras if you are free.

If the claw is over your platform AOE attacks will begin radiating around the platform in the direction indicated by the marker.

If the flame vents are over your platform there will be fire spread over the platform at intervals, which can be easily avoided by running to the far sides edges.

While the above mechanics are happening, you will also be managing the boss's main attacks:

Laser Resistance Test Room wide AOE

Ring Laser Stand in the exact middle of the platform to avoid incoming AOE circles

Laser Sight Stack for high, shared damage laser attack.

Short-Range Missile Marks players for spread AOE on hit.

(This is an incomplete list, I will try and finish it soon)

At 50%~ health attacks will begin stacking, and each party will have to manage multiple mechanics at the same time.

Bosses
Serial-jointed Command Model

Spotlights will drop from the ceiling at intervals during the fight.

Platform Mechanics
Group A ??
Group B will be on a platform that has conveyer belts on it. These will, at random, activate and push party members in the indicated direction. During this phase, if any person touches the wall they will be OHKO.
Group C ??

Attacks by the Machine
If a large box is smashed on your platform, position yourself at a corner so the walls don't crush you when it opens. Tethers will come out and go on random players, and if more than 1 will quickly kill that person so interrupt extras if you are free.

When the claw is over your platform AOE attacks will begin radiating around the platform in the direction indicated by the marker.

When the vents are over your platform there will be fire spread over half the platform at intervals.

While the above mechanics are happening, you will also be managing the boss's main attacks:

Laser Resistance Test Room wide AOE
As with so many wonders of the world that once was, its radiance quickly faded in the wake of the Flood, its halls falling silent, the throne sitting empty. That is, until the palace was given new purpose when a mage claimed it as their sanctuary, their only company being solace, solitude, and the legion of familiars barring entrance to any foolish enough to seek an audience.
* Direct Seeding: Drops seeds in the area that will sprout into adds if they're in green squares. Move them not to green squares. The second cast combines this with an effect that slides the seeds one square over before trying to sprout, place seeds accordingly.
Lugus
* Scorching Left/Right: Hits the entire arena on the indicated side.
* Mortal Flame: Applies a debuff that will OHKO you when it runs out. Pass it on to one of the various flammable objects in the arena.
* Fire's Domain/Ire: Charges each player in turn and then cleaves the arena in front. Move away to reduce charge damage and make sure he faces the wall.
* Otherworldly Heat: Draws lines on the ground in random box-like shapes. When these explode they will OHKO you. The explosion is much larger than the initial line, so don't trap yourself inside a small box.
