Purify (PvP) is an action unlocked at level 30. It is available for any class or job.
History
Patch 6.55 (2024-01-16): Resilience will now be granted unconditionally.- Patch 6.1 (2022-04-12):
- Now available to all jobs.
- Cure potency has been removed.
- The effect "Grants Resilience upon successfully removing one of the aforementioned effects" has been added.
Patch 5.1 (2019-10-29):
- No longer categorized as an Additional Action, but remains shared between all healer jobs.
- Recast time has been reduced from 45 to 30 seconds.
- The additional effect "Cure potency is doubled when a status affliction is removed" has been added.
- Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02):
- Now exclusive to the healer role.
- Recast time has been increased from 30 to 45 seconds.
- Can now additionally be used on a target party member.
Patch 4.2 (2018-01-30): Recast time has been reduced from 45 seconds to 30 seconds.
Patch 3.07 (2015-08-25):
- Recast time has been reduced from 180 to 120 seconds.
- The Enhanced Purify trait now reduces recast time to 90 seconds.
Patch 2.3 (2014-07-08):
- Recast time has been reduced from 240 to 180 seconds.
- Target has been changed from self to selected PC.
- Patch 2.1 (2013-12-17): Added with the original description and associated trait, "Removes all detrimental effects. Can be used regardless of status affliction. Enhanced Purify: Shortens recast time to 150 seconds."
