It has come to light that Rihtahtyn sas Arvina, praefectus castorum of the XIVth Legion, is scheduled to inspect the imperial outpost at Cape Westwind. Although native to a territory subjugated by the Empire, Rhitahtyn's prowess as a field tactician has won him a station of great authority within the Garlean military. Such as formidable enemy general will surely prove an obstacle to the Alliance's efforts to purge the realm of the imperial menace. For the first phase of Operation: Archon, you have been entrusted the mission of infiltrating the imperial outpost and striking him down.

Cape Westwind is a level 49 trial that requires a full party of 8 players. The trial requires the players to defeat the mighty Rihtahtyn sas Arvina of Garlean Empire. It is part of the main story quests.

Strategy

Rihtahtyn sas Arvina is the hulking, armored Roegadyn general of Garlean Empire. He has two shields, one on each of his arm.

Throughout the fight, Rihtahtyn will spawn flaming circles on the ground. Players standing in the circles will take damage over time. Avoid these circles if possible. He is will charge up magitek missiles. Players can avoid these missiles by moving away from where the boss is standing.

At around 2/3 HP, he will spawn 2 adds at the doorway. One of the tanks should take the aggro of these adds.
